Bottom Story of the Day: Lion Kills Man

Somehow I doubt Quinn Terence Swales will get quite the attention as Cecil the Lion:

A lion mauled to death a guide leading tourists on a walking safari in the Zimbabwean national park where Cecil the lion lived before he was shot, police said Tuesday. …

The guide, Quinn Terence Swales, 40, was airlifted from the scene but pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital in the resort town of Victoria Falls.

From a statement by Camp Hwange:

“We can confirm that Quinn did everything he could to successfully protect his guests and ensure their safety, and that no guests were injured.”

The lion’s name is Nxaha.

Where are the protests and the theatrical displays of self-righteous grief? Will a bloodthirsty mob force Nxaha into hiding, as with Walter Palmer, who was forced into the role of Emmanuel Goldstein for successfully hunting a lion? Or will no one give a hoot because Swales was only a human, not some savage beast?

Of all the depraved notions that comprise moonbattery, failure to understand that a person’s life is worth more than an animal’s is possibly the sickest.

On a tip from Lyle.

The moonies will likely erect a shrine to Nxaha as he took revenge on behalf of Cecil. No doubt they are unhappy that he didn’t kill the evil Palmer but at least in their minds some justice was indeed done.

You guys have this all wrong. Nxaha deserves your accolades.

A “walking” safari? With predators. You have to be kidding.

“Swales was taking six tourists on a walking safari when he spotted fresh lion spoor and decided to track a pride of lions consisting of two
females, two cubs and two males, according to the Zimbabwe National
    Parks and Wildlife Management Authority.”

In other words, a complete moron was followed by a group of imbeciles who with their collective IQ of 15, decided to follow some wild lions on foot, armed with cameras.

    Then there’s this:

“One of the lions had cubs and they became hostile*. Mr. Swales at first
manage to scare the lions away** but then the male lion later made a
    U-turn and attacked him,***”

    * Really!!? Bastards!!

** By howling and jumping up and down on all fours.
*** How the hell did that happen?

In other words, the imbeciles led by the moron catch up with the lions, whereupon the moron gets eaten.

So what this amounts to is a moonbat and his moonbat buddies deciding to commune with nature in the form of a kumbaya with predators at the top of the food chain.

I would say that the guide-meal deserves a Darwin Award.

And the lion, apparently acting like a lion, would seem to me to deserve his choice of another one of the imbeciles.

I hope someone got some good pictures.

A supreme false equivalence premise. Human flies from one continent to another. Add guide, rifles and ammunition. Stalk lion for days. Lure lion out of safe area. Kill lion. Newest story: Humans too stupid to walk away from lion pride. Guide tries to scare lions. Really? Turns out badly for moronic guide. Apparently the tourists were marginally more intelligent.

Nxaha is beloved in Zimbabwe, just like Cecile was. Well, except by those he’s eaten, and their families and friends, and starving farmers who loose their livestock, and parents of small children, and of course anyone who can’t run fast enough to get away, but other than that almost everyone loves him. Nxaha is really quite gentle when he’s not hungry. Which happens occasionally when a safari guide is available for take out. When that doesn’t happen he does get a little irritable when he has to peal a juicy Range Rover without the proper tools. But, who wouldn’t? And who’s fault is it really for bringing a hard top vehicle on safari? In any case, Nxaha is a lovable creature who hasn’t done any harm to any liberals in New York, so he should be protected.
