Brownshirt Activity at the Republican Convention

Former Republican Senator Gordon Humphrey calls the Trumpsters who have been steamrolling resistance at the Republican National Convention “brownshirts”:

Think he is exaggerating? Kera Birkeland doesn’t:

Utah delegate Kera Birkeland was on the floor during the Rules vote as one of the delegates calling for a roll call vote.

Birkeland reportedly went to the women’s restroom and when she emerged from a stall, a group of Trump supporters surrounded her and threatened to kill her, urging her to leave the party and the state.

Given the fascistic tenor of Trumpism from the beginning, her story rings true.

Obama’s radicalization of the Democrat Party has caused American politics to veer in a very ugly direction. Whichever authoritarian progressive prevails in November, the road ahead disappears into darkness.

On tips from ComradeJ and Torcer.

Yikes. I think I might need a drink after reading that.

  2. Sweep_the_leg_11590 says:

OK, this J off is seriously advocating that we allow the sociopathic Clinton to be elected, which WILL put the final nail in amerikkka’s coffin, so that the Repuke party, that opposes NOTHING that Clinton stands for or will do (SCOTUS, etc…), and opposed NOTHING that his hero Bwana did…can be saved??? What a Fing loser.

  3. Sauer Thirtyeight says:

So, did they kill her, or not?

After they do, you can talk about Brownshirts.

  4. Eddie_Valiant says:

Many of us assumed the shooting would start with the Obamaites, but maybe the Trumpies will start it off.

  5. Johnny Monday says:

The final nail will be put in either by Drumpf or Hillary.

    And vote third party.

  7. tommy helms says:

    That never happened

“…the road ahead disappears into darkness.”

Alas and alack! All is lost! Man the lifeboats! America is DOOMED! Goin’ down in FLAMES!

Does that pretty well sum up your view of America, post-2016 election?

No optimism at all about the future, no chance of anything ever getting better, just the downward spiral into chaos, anarchy, and national destruction, no matter who gets elected?

No “Morning In America” here, huh? You got no time for THAT crap…you’re too busy with your weeping and wailing and Bemoaning The Dreadful End Of America, and, by the way, WE TRIED TO WARN YOU!

Well, thanks for the sour persimmons.

“Reportedly”…”allegedly”…MSNBC??? Sounds like weasel words to me.

  11. Artfuldgr says:

Brownshirts were socialists, trump is capitalist
Brownshirts were under control of the leader, trump ppl are not being given orders
Browshirts were nationalists, trump is patriot
Brownshirts were murdered by Hitlers people…

Hitler hated jews, Trump fought for jews and has a jewish daugher and son in law
Hitler was a ne’er do well who had no success in life other than his rise, trump has 560 companies and 30,000 employees

    yeah, a perfect parallel

  12. Vote Third Party says:

You sound like the typical trumpanzee fuckwit. Probably didn’t pay attention to politics a day in your life before Trump came around.

  13. mikey7777 says:

Yea that didn’t happen but this POS president and his degenerate DOJ are the real “brownshirts” or should I say BLACK militants that have aided and abetted the murder of Police and everyone just looks the other way.The race war has been going on and the shots have already been started by this black militant admin. But don’t worry ,you can j e r k off off soon to all your Black t h u g NFL football heroes and forget everything that matters. And it ain’t Black lives.

  14. Stephen says:

It’s a shame for Ms Birkeland that those brownshirts didn’t rip her arm off and then beat her to death with it….had they done so she might be able to get a Michelle Fields book deal.

Too many people in Utah have concealed carry permits.

  16. depwavid says:

Hitler was a passable, even talented, landscape artist. He couldn’t draw people, however, and that queered his art career.

  21. 762x51 says:

That’s the dyin’ truth. Spread the leg6969 is a another recent troll who has infested MB. Are you as tired of these vermin coming here and trying to push people around as I am? Man I can’t wait to get these fucktards on the battlefield.

  22. 762x51 says:

True, the only question is which one it will be, the NY Progressive or the NY Progressive.

  23. 762x51 says:

Same brownshirt crap we see every day here at MB. Time grows short to when they will have to pay for it. Civil War II, coming to your neighborhood soon.

  25. Vote Third Party says:

The only thing that will make them go away is a decisive loss to hillary. And even that is only until the next authoritarian comes along. The sad truth is these types of people used to off themselves in global conflagrations by being the first to sign up to die for Mussolinis and Hitlers. So it might take someone like trump winning and going to war with china for a permanent reset.

Fascistic? What you call fascistic, I call people being bloody well sick and tired of having an elitist agenda shoved down their throats and are not going to give ground on doing something about it. After decades of having Establishment tools urinate down people’s backs and telling them it’s just rain, they are finally pushing back, and if you don’t like it, Senator. you have only yourself and like-minded friends to blame.

  28. Tom says:

  35. Ed. G. Mann says:

You now have a Third Party. After the election, the purge of the GOPe will commence and with luck the likes of Ryan will lose his primary. Vote out the Globalists.

  36. Bob says:

So Dave let us know…..are you voting for Hillary? Or even if you would rather see President Clinton over President Trump just because Cruz lost the primary?

  37. MAS says:

    Straw-man much?

  38. MAS says:

Oh dang TED, this one is perfect!

  39. MAS says:

“So yer gonna vote for Hillary then…” bla bla bla. I am actually looking forward to all this being over so we can rub the orange Hillary supporters faces in his muck. He will lose and then get lucrative contracts from his Democrat friends just like Perot did when he lost for Bill.

  40. MAS says:

Do tell. You must have been on scene, right?

  41. Dan Northrup says:

    Hillary wins = Violence
    Trump wins = Violence

I get the feeling that no matter who wins the idiots on either side won’t be able too wait 4 years to get their way. The tantrum will an epic spiral leading to some level of civil war. My advice, lay low and let the idiots have at it.

  42. Torcer says:

The “You’re a closet comrade Clinton supporter” taking point has become quite tiresome.

One can oppose both candidates, or point out the flaws and foibles of one without supporting the other.

But one consideration has to be made here – if it is the case where anyone who does something detrimental to Trump is somehow helping Hillary, can we not also apply the same rule to the antics of Mr. Trump and his campaign?

He and his supporters have made all manner of unforced errors that have been set backs to his own efforts – so by Trump supporter logic can we say that Donald is a closet comrade Clinton supporter?

You can’t have it both ways Trump supporters, and denying the reality of those errors is also an non-starter.

Consider that when you hurl that little ditty without any thought.

  43. Torcer says:

    Republican Primaries Stolen by Democrats
Michael Harrington has diligently pored over 24 years of election data. His study uncovered a clear pattern of Democrat intrusion into the Republican primaries, by “strategically” voting for the opposition.

In open primary states, participants don’t have to change their registration to vote the other party, and they’ve been voting for the enemy in staggering numbers. In closed primary states, when their Democrat candidate of choice has a solid margin of victory, voters have nothing to lose by changing their registration to Republican – they have their cake and eat it, too. Complicit Democrats sabotage the opposition by voting for the weakest Republican candidates, setting up a decided advantage for the Democrat nominee in the general election, and causing rancor and division among Republican voters. What could be better?

It’s often observed that Democrats will get behind even their most despicable politicians, while Republicans won’t come out en masse for a candidate who doesn’t specifically represent them, particularly on issues of religion, morality, and character. Conservatives are justifiably hung up on integrity and honesty, traits Democrats regularly overlook (thus their nominee, Hillary Clinton).

On the right, conservatives can’t fathom how or why they continue to get seriously flawed candidates for president, cycle after cycle. “Strategic voting” is the type of dirty trick Republicans have come to expect from the DNC – lying, cheating, fraud-ridden, abhorrent behavior, the “win by any means and at any cost” mentality that conjured “super-delegates” to cement the win for their presumptive heir to the throne.

Mr. Harrington observed the “strategic voting” phenomenon in specific states in the ’90s, and has since seen it balloon in scale to the national level. He estimates that 12 million Democrats sabotaged the Republican primaries this spring with the following result:

Using 2000 and 2008 as baselines, the conclusion was staggering. Trump only got about 3.3 million Republican Votes. The rest are Democrats, approximately 12 million of them[.] … In any event our election was stolen. Trump would be in fourth, or worse, without Democrats; he would probably only have won New York, and considering he would be doing so badly when that election happened, it is unlikely even there. We have been tossed to the ground and electorally gang raped by Democrats.

His research explains a lot – how a lifelong Democrat, a donor and avid supporter of the Clintons, a corrupt crony capitalist with “New York values” – walked away the presumptive Republican nominee. This data underscores the reason why, historically, the Republican Party has, excepting only the 1976 convention, recognized a delegate’s right to vote his conscience on the convention floor. Democrats, comparatively, bound their delegates for many years, in alignment with their Holy Grail – power.

Conservatives were set up. Democrats know that Republicans abhor the appearance of impropriety and planned the perfect strategy to confuse and confound. It’s up to conservatives to use superior intellect, seek the truth, and uncover the facts.

  44. Torcer says:

So do the ends justify the means?

  45. Torcer says:

This is one of my responses to those people who hurl that thoughtless talking point:

If you are going to parrot that sciolistic and tiresome falsehood, then perhaps you can explain why Millions of Democrats and the media supported Trump?

  46. 762x51 says:

You are correct that regardless of which party wins this time, there will be violence, but not just civil unrest. This will result in all out civil war and one cannot just “lay low” during such a conflict. Unlike civil war I, this will not be a N vs. S thing with nicely defined lines of which side is which. This will be a house to house battle fought in your neighborhood, think of your next door neighbor to the west is a tRump guy and your neighbor to the east is a Hillary supporter.

Better get ready to fight or be a willing victim for who finds you first.

  47. 762x51 says:

Just select ones, like you Brony Bitch and Eddy G Spot. Communists are communists, makes no difference which country they are from. My oath was to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Hajji’s are foreign, you bitches are domestic, in the end, you all die the same, all I feel is recoil.

Speaking of “keyboard commandos” when are you going to stop hiding behind your keyboard and playing with your Bronys, janitor? I’m the one who is willing to take this out into the real world, you two chicken shits are the ones hiding behind your keyboards. Just a couple of fucking cowards who fear me and cannot back up their words.

At least we now know why you are suck a little fascist prick. I see Connecticunt is the 42nd least free state in the country. Just because you live in a sewer doesn’t mean the rest of us want to, pussy.

Go play with your dolls, bitch.

  48. 762x51 says:

Meanwhile you would get to live out your fascist dreams, huh, Eddy the phony Libertarian? At your age you’ll be dead long before then so I guess you will never know. Of course, being the dirty little fascist prick you are, some one will have removed you long before that. The world will be a better [place once you are in the ground, you useless old fuck.

Cluck away chickenshit, your life is almost over. Soon you will have to back up your bullshit, that’s the downside to fomenting civil war, then someone will cap your miserable old ass and drop you in a landfill or sewage pond where you belong, Tell your wife I said hi, she already knows what a chickenshit you are.

  49. Tom says:

    So…no girlfriend yet, huh?

  50. 762x51 says:

It might not be the only thing . . .

  51. 762x51 says:

Yes, I have one, you are married to her. She really likes being satisfied, something your little Brony “popgun” could never accomplish.

    You are just so inadequate.

  52. 762x51 says:

Women like men, not Brony’s, which explains your situation.

Tell your wife and my kids I said hello, Brony bitch.

  53. 762x51 says:

Probably since the Trumpanzees have forced the only candidate she could beat, upon us.

  54. Ed. G. Mann says:

Cuckster, I’m voting for Trump. Trump to 2024. No matter what you say, you are still a loser.

  55. Dan Northrup says:

I’m ready to fight but not looking for one, but I’m not taking any sides. Rough thing is that here in cali owning any semi-auto rifle with a detachable mag and buying ammo without a license will be illegal come next year. I’m an instant criminal. Prepping gets harder.

  56. ComradeJ says:

12 MM Demorats voted for Orange Hillary… but not surprising given his Obama/Hillary like policies.

  57. ComradeJ says:

ahhhhhhhh…. what is seen cannot be unseen

  58. Torcer says:

One only has to look at their policy agendas to affirm that.

  59. ComradeJ says:

Or listen to Orange Hillary’s own words.

  60. Gex says:

hey dave……..this would be a perfect spot to post the bruised arm picture……its just as credible as msnbc

  61. Bodhisattva says:

Unfortunately this is exactly the sort of thing that Democrats who infiltrated the convention would do to try and discredit ANY Republican convention or it’s nominee.

  62. Bodhisattva says:

Perhaps, but I’d rather NOT have Hillary in control of the Justice Department when Helter Skelter breaks out. Charles Manson must be hoarse screaming “I WAS RIGHT! I TOLD YOU SO!”.

  63. Bodhisattva says:

Things are indeed looking bleak, but they’ve looked bleak before. Americans are a tenacious lot. I have confidence that times may get rough, but we’ll pull through as always. I just get tired of us not learning and repeating the same mistakes over and over, that’s all. But, of course, that’s not “us”, that’s the liberals.

“It never worked before, but that’s because they did it wrong – we’re going to do it right” – today’s liberals on socialism.

Unfortunately that’s just what yesterdays socialists said, and the ones before them, and the ones before them, etc.

  64. Bodhisattva says:

What do you mean – the shooting has started. We’re just not shooting back.

  65. 762x51 says:

    Always, with Progressives.

Somehow, they plan to prove their point by becoming the enemy they so vociferously oppose.

  66. Dan Northrup says:

    Sad but true.

  67. 762x51 says:

And each step you take backwards, is one you will have fight to regain in the opposite direction. A fight has been brought to your door whether you were looking for one or not. Every time you obey one of their unconstitutional laws or fund one of their unconstitutional agendas, you give tacit approval of their enslavement of you and your children.

If every time the tyrant tried to hold one of us to some fascistic rule they had concocted to hold power over us, the enforcing bureaucrat or bureaucrats paid with their lives, they would soon run out of enforcers and their power would be broken,

That is what it is going to take to stop this. You cannot get out of the situation we face any other way. Unless you are prepping to be a slave, your plan will fail. The decision is whether to die on your feet or live on your knees, there is no more middle ground,.

  68. 762x51 says:

Brownshirts had nothing to do with the economic policiyes of the Nazi government, tRump is a CRONY capitalist who has backed the Socialist Progressive agenda all his adult life, which is why he paid into the corruption system all those decades.

Brownshirts operated with great autonomy so as to separate party leadership from the criminal acts they committed.

tRump is a narcissist, just like Obama, maybe worse. He doesn’t give a damn about America, he cares only about himself, his ego and his image. He is no more a patriot than Obama.

Brownshirts were murdered after they became an embarrassment to Hitler, you Trumpanzees are already an embarrassment so you may want to look over your shoulder.

What the fuck do Jews and previous success or failures have to do with anything?

Sounds like your argument is that if it doesn’t mirror Hitlers life and the events of 1930’s Germany it isn’t a valid comparison. I suppose that if your dog was hit and killed by a blue Ford Taurus you would get another dog and only keep it tied up when there was blue Ford Taurus around. Such is the nature of your reasoning.

  69. 762x51 says:

A professional weasel like you would know.

  70. Dan Northrup says:

Reality is harsh, I won’t be following the raping of the second amendment. So I guess my tacit approval has come to an end.

  71. Torcer says:

“Somehow, they plan to prove their point by becoming the enemy they so vociferously oppose.” – 762×51

Great way of expressing that thought!
I’m not sure if I should use it though – I certainly don’t want to pull a #Melania.

  72. Dan Northrup says:

Scary when your personal thoughts end up in the paper…

  73. vladdy1 says:

This is a joke, right? ‘Cos your “fascist” remark about
Trump is the kind of language (name-calling) leftists use.

  74. 762x51 says:

Except on “free Trade”. There tRump is fully in line with Bernie Sanders. Meaning that the only difference between tRump and Clinton is Sanders. Yes, the future is that black.

  75. 762x51 says:

It’s fallacious and tiresome, but it’s all they have.

  76. 762x51 says:

Yep, it always comes down to what line you won’t cross. For some it’s the Second Amendment, for others its the starvation of their children. What ever that line is, Progressives will push everyone across it sooner rather than later. They will make enough things “illegal” so that you cannot obey all of the laws, then once they have you in their system, they have control over you. This is what I meant you won’t be able to sit this out. I know a guy who is so straight arrow, he doesn’t even have a parking ticket. He is now considering which lines he will not cross.

Gun fight is coming, soon now.

  77. 762x51 says:

Imagine 30 years ago a candidate having someone like that as their campaign manager. Couldn’t happen.

Now couple the Ukrainian fascist dictator campaign manager connection with the former Geroge Soros hedge fund guy as his campaign finance manager. I mean, what could go wrong? This is tRumps ‘A’ team.

  78. 762x51 says:

Go for it, it’s not like I’m making money at this.
