Bureau of Land Management Created “Bovine Concentration Camps” on Bundy Ranch

Our federal overlords give higher priority to animals than people, as can be seen by their crippling of California farms on behalf of a useless minnow called the delta smelt. But power grabs have higher priority still. This is sensible, considering that the entire point of the government sacrificing our interests to those of the animals is to facilitate power grabs. When animals get in the way of the leviathan’s growth, it goes poorly for them:

It is now emerging that the Bureau of Land Management committed horrific atrocities against cattle during its armed occupation and siege of the Bundy Ranch near Bunkerville, Nevada. Photos are now emerging of the mass graves where BLM hastily tried to bury the cattle they killed. BLM agents used government helicopters to run down cattle in 90+ degree heat while shooting the cows that couldn’t keep up. The cattle that survived were then corralled into abusive “bovine concentration camps” that resulted in many cattle dying from dehydration and stress.

In an attempt to cover it up, BLM used machinery equipment to construct mass graves, but the arrival of armed citizens who faced off against the federal agents caused BLM to have to evacuate the area, leaving their cattle atrocities easily spotted by the public.

Those familiar with the history of our current governing philosophy, oligarchical collectivism, will be relieved that it is only cattle getting this treatment (for now), rather than people, as has frequently happened under other statist attempts to impose utopia.

But to animal rights moonbats, there is no difference between people and animals. Consequently, even PETA may have had as much Hope & Change as it can swallow.

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is criticizing the Bureau of Land Management for apparently euthanizing [i.e., slaughtering] an unknown number of cattle at the Bundy Ranch.

“These animals shouldn’t be killed either by the government, or by the rancher who plans to send the cows off to slaughter. The best thing anyone can do to stop the suffering of animals is to go vegan,” PETA’s Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said in a written statement to Breitbart News.

After we have stopped eating meat and wearing leather, cattle will be free to frolic carefree in the wilderness along with the chickens – so long as Obama doesn’t get on them for flatulence.

On a more serious note,

“This is unjust,” the Bundy Ranch said in a statement on their Facebook page Saturday. “Understand that this is beyond the cattle and it is overall about freedom but this is one of many incidents where the corrupt and unjust government is taking away our freedom little by little.” …

Nevada Republican Assemblywoman Michele Fiore told Breitbart News on Friday that the treatment of the cattle by the BLM is “cruel” and she has heard from ranchers across the state with similar experiences with the BLM and its livestock seizure practices.

The deaths to the herd could have a serious financial impact on the ranch. Cliven Bundy told FOX News last week that one cow could go for as much as $2200 at market.

It is only a matter of time until the Feds drive the ranch into bankruptcy. Cliven Bundy will be a lesson to the rest of us. To cowards, the lesson will be that you had better not stand up to the government. To patriots, the lesson will be that in the end any government will do whatever the people let it get away with.

I would also note that this is the same government, in their interest of “protecting” endangered species, is planning on killing 1000 desert tortoises because they are closing down the center that they had set up to supposedly “protect” the desert tortoise.
Then again, the government types apparently have no problem with bald eagles being either fried or chopped up in the name of green energy.

One other point. The feds say that Bundy owes them a million dollars. How is it that they give a rancher a contract for almost a million dollars to round up Bundy’s cattle and claim that their concern is about money? Further, hundreds of federal agents in the desert isn’t cheap either.
Oh wait; it is only taxpayer money that they are wasting. I’m sure our grandkids won’t mind paying it all back with interest.

I think that was the objective, destroy the Bundy’s ability to survive so they will vacate the area. The cattle killed were the ones they use to reproduce the herd, i.e., stay in business, The BLM slaughtered the bulls and breeder cows so Bundy cannot keep his herd going. They also destroyed the water pipes and tanks he uses to water the cattle in order to keep them alive. In summary, the U.S. government went in with armed force to destroy the assets of a business that had been operating that area for over 130 years because they wanted the land for another purpose. There is another organization in this country they operates in EXACTLY the same manner, it is called Organized Crime, aka The Mafia, aka La Cosa Nostra.

The United States government is the largest ongoing criminal enterprise on Earth.

“To patriots, the lesson will be that in the end, armed resistance is the only viable way to stop the aggression of this rogue, criminal government.” – Fixed that for ya.

Bundy needs to put a serape and a sombrero on each head of cattle. Then the Feds wouldn’t be interested.

removing the cattle will also kill tortoises.

part of their food source IS cattle excrement.

Don’t fall for the old “it’s for the tortoises” argument even come into play.
Communists don’t give a shit about individual life.

and as for “endangered species” that need constant human intervention to survive, what ever happened to that theory by that old geezer that said “survival of the fittest” allows the strongest of the species to procreate and improve genetics? Hmmmmm?

oh right, let’s cherry pick our supporting arguments and ignore those that don’t fit.

Where is the ASPCA on this cruelty to animals case? They are all over Montana ranchers that have done far less to their livestock than what the federal asuthorities did at the Bundy ranch. Where are the prosecutors? Surely there are some patriots in a position of authority to prosecute those responsible for these atrocities!! STEP UP TO THE PLATE NOW!!!

These cattle are worth what, a couple grand per head? I agree with the other posters that financial ruin was one of the points of this.

I also noticed how the feds wore masks. If they really believed that what they did was righteous, they’d show their pride by doing it unmasked.

I believe that Harry Reid has something going along with a “solar farm.” The great thing about solar farms is that they don’t need any water. So that water can be extracted from the already dry earth and sold to the progressive fools in LA.
