Buttigieg: Identity Politics Hits Bottom

Here’s an idea for launching the next Democrat wonder candidate. Take the mayor of a town the size of Woodbridge, New Jersey or Sparks, Nevada. Run him for president on the platform that he enjoys having sexual congress with Shetland ponies. Keep him in the news by having him accuse Republicans of not liking it that he molests ponies. Bring in the religious left by having him screech that anyone who does not approve of his aberrant degeneracy is an enemy of God. Ingenious, right?

Never mind — they’ve already done it, with minor variations. The media has been hyping the candidacy of belligerently homosexual Peter Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana:

“That’s the thing that I wish the Mike Pences of the world would understand,” Buttigieg said of the vice president, who has opposed same-sex marriage. “That if you have a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my creator.”

Homosexual depravity is repeatedly prohibited in the Bible. Yet we are told that those who do not endorse it oppose God.

Note that until a big brainwashing blitzkrieg by the media over the past few years, virtually everyone agreed with Pence on gay marriage, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Also note that Buttwhatever’s self-serving logic — God made me this way; therefore, I’ll do whatever I want — could be used to excuse literally any behavior. Proclaiming, “God made me a kleptomaniac, so the eighth commandment must be repealed” would make just as much sense.

Gushes USA Today,

It’s unusual for Democratic presidential candidates to talk about faith as often as Buttigieg does. It’s groundbreaking that he uses his marriage to another man to illustrate his personal relationship with God.

This groundbreaking strategy allows Democrats to advance a candidate based on identity politics, to promote homosexuality, and to farcify Christianity all at once.

Buttwhatever pushes farcification farther still by denouncing Trump for not living up to the high moral standards of a sodomite like himself:

“I can’t believe that somebody that was caught writing hush money checks to adult film actresses is somebody they should be lifting up as the kind of person they want to be leading this nation,” he said on “Meet the Press”…

Others can’t believe that somebody who bases his public identity on indulging in sick sexual practices and who has made a mockery out of matrimony is throwing stones from his glass house.

On a tip from Bluto.

  1. […] Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke has lost ground to the comparably unqualified Peter Buttwhatever. Time to reach into Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s bag of tricks for something to rev up Democrat […]
