ChiCom Christianity: Jesus as Executioner

As leftists tighten their fist on power, everything that came before right now is altered or abolished to conform to their current orthodoxy — even things that need to last forever. This includes scripture. To get an idea of what Christianity might look like in a world run by authoritarian oligarchical collectivists, refer to communist China, where students learn that Jesus stoned a prostitute to death.

So much for forgiveness. The ChiCom version, published in a textbook by the government-run University of Electronic Science and Technology Press, goes like this:

The crowd wanted to stone the woman to death as per their law. But Jesus said, ‘Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone.’ Hearing this, they slipped away one by one.

When the crowd disappeared, Jesus stoned the sinner to death saying, “I too am a sinner. But if the law could only be executed by men without blemish, the law would be dead,” the textbook said.

No wonder John Paul II felt the need to stand up to communists. They can be counted on to suppress and/or subvert Christianity, with the ultimate goal of destroying it.

Speaking of communists subverting Christianity:

Pope Francis denounced trickle-down economics, private property, and advocated for the redistribution of wealth in a new letter to Roman Catholic leaders.

Reuters reports on the Red Pope’s latest denunciation of economic freedom:

“There were those who would have had us believe that freedom of the market was sufficient to keep everything secure (after the pandemic hit),” he wrote.

Francis denounced “this dogma of neo-liberal faith” that resorts to “the magic theories of ‘spillover’ or ‘trickle’ … as the only solution to societal problems”. …

Francis repeated past calls for redistribution of wealth to help the poorest and for fairer access to natural resources by all.

This from a guy who lives in a massive palace.

The Church needs another John Paul II.
