CNN Bashes Ted Cruz by Comparing Him to Obama

You had to know the liberal media would come after Ted Cruz with guns blazing. But who would have expected it to get this nasty this fast? CNN attacks by comparing him to Barack Hussein Obama:

“I want to read to you a description,” began host Dana Bash. “A Harvard law graduate, 40-something years old, two young daughters, in the Senate for only two years, who thinks he can be president. I could be describing you; I could be describing Barack Obama.”

Cruz replied to this bashing by noting that he has been a leader in the Senate, not a backbencher like Obama. Regarding previous experience:

“I spent five and a half years as the Solicitor General of Texas, the chief lawyer for the state Texas in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.”

“I supervised and led every appeal for the state of Texas in a 4,000-person agency with over 700 lawyers,” he continued. “Over the course of 5 1/2 years, over and over again Texas led the nation defending conservative principles and winning.”

Obama, for his part, was a community organizer (i.e., a revolutionary leftist troublemaker) — reason enough for no well-meaning person to want him anywhere near the White House.

Still, any comparison to the worst president in American history has to hurt, even coming from CNN.

On a tip from Petterssonp.

Obama’s high point on his resume for the Presidency was that he was a “Community Rabble-Rouser”, and a nation of fools elected him anyway…twice. We deserve whatever pain we must suffer for electing this America-hating psychopath to our highest office. Electing Ted Cruz in 2016 will help to mitigate the damage, but it won’t undo it completely. We will choose wisely, or be destroyed: our choice.

Cruz never lowered his standards and became a community organizer like Obozo.

The left exhibits again its double standards. Obama had essentially zero executive experience, yet are those on the left now saying that he has done a crappy job as president?

So if President Rspect has done such a stellar job, why wouldn’t they expect Cruz to do equally well?

Cruz’ national championship debate skill will serve him well. This clip is a good example. The poor girl reporter had spent days gathering suggestions on ambush questions from English and Sociology majors throughout journalism and politics and LGBT and Black History majors currently in community organizing. Cruz turned the tables and used her statements to tout his sterling accomplishments and demean Obama’s. He does it so effortlessly, but probably preps the same way he did for a college debate. It’ll serve him well.

The Interviewer made the classic mistake–Never ask a question you don’t already know the answer to. Which explains the lack of mental heavy lifting done by progressives, who rely on innuendo, labeling, and slander to make their arguments.

CNN is trying desperately to prevent Ted Cruz getting the Republican nomination… which is good enough reason to nominate him, all by itself.

Exactly. My reply would have been, “Well, do you think Obama’s done a good job despite his lack of executive experience?” The interviewer would have done her best impression of a fish out of water. But the comparison was clearly worded to undermine Cruz’s support, so his answer was better.
