Coming Next: Microhousing

When Obama et al. stop getting traction with Marxist–Leninist demagoguery regarding “income inequality,” it will be time to pivot to housing inequality.

As every moonbat knows, housing is a human right. Who better to secure this right than the federal government, which has done such a spectacular job of defending our right to force others to pay for our medical insurance under ObamaCare?

ObamaHousing will allow our benevolent rulers to address the scourge of housing inequality. Under socialism, equality is achieved by separating the cream — that is, the oligarchs in charge — and then forcing upon everyone else the lowest common denominator.

Progressive Seattle gives us a hint what that might look like regarding housing:

Micro-apartments in Seattle have mostly felt like a novelty, appealing to a niche of carless urbanites who can squeeze everything into the square footage of about three Smart cars.

But Lilliputian studios are becoming a major housing trend, with the number of micro-units expected to more than triple in the next few years.

About 700 micros have opened in Seattle, mostly in the last two years. Another 2,400 units are in the pipeline, in various stages of construction and permitting. …

Micros generally range from 100 to 185 square feet. They have a private bathroom, but often not a kitchen (or full kitchen).

The tiny apartments fit nicely with Seattle imposing the world’s highest minimum wage increase. You can’t expect to live in a castle when your unborn grandchildren are paying your rent because there aren’t any entry-level jobs.

Envirofascist social engineers will be delighted at how many people can be crammed into a small space, leaving even more of the country to the ducks and the squirrels.

If you loved living in a college dorm, you will like microhousing.

When oh when will the Counter Cultural Revolution begin to end all this Leftist madness??? It really needs to be shoveled into the trashcan of history just like the Third Reich was because this insane Leftism is just as monstrous and insidious as Nazism ever was.

It’s already happening here. They’re building apartments as fast as they can and squeezing people out of home ownership with more government plans that on the surface are designed to help but in reality cause more problems. And even conservative people are whining about the disappearing wilderness every time there’s an unfortunate encounter with a bear or something. What I notice is all these people complaining, on both sides, already live in homes and not apartments and they want to deny others the ability to not live like rats in a hutch. Watch for that meme to eventually gain more traction and be used to force people in to tiny apartments…it’s for the environment/nature/wildlife etc….

I think this is a great idea for those who DESIRE it. Some people don’t want or can’t handle the responsibility of a yard and house but everyone needs a clean, safe place to roost. I certainly don’t believe in forcing people into it but if this choice works for someone, it can be a good thing.

Seattle is full of leftwing shitfingers who think it is cute, or clever or whatever to exist like lower animals.

They walk around plastered from head to tailwith “tribal” tattoos, they think it is great to have filthy lice infested and matted hair and the latest thing is Godamned hoops the size of snoose cans stretching their earlobes. I have wondered what is next, are they going to start stretching out their lower lips with a disk so that it hangs down past their chin?

Anyway, I believe that living in cages like a battery hen is appropriate for people who have made it their life’s purpose to reject what it means to live like a civilized human being. As long as they have their beer, pot and cigarettes and are free to practice whatever with whoever, be it man or beast, the latest mode of sexual gratification they come up with – their needs are met.

How cool! They have records and guitars and live in a hip pad!

Back when I had vinyl records, it would have taken way more space than this. It doesn’t even touch my guitar equipment housing needs. I guess this place is for beginners…

I know a guy (professional musician) that has a room bigger than that just for his guitars! He claims over his career, he has owned over 1000 guitars (not all at the same time.) Compared to my buddy, the hipster douche shoebox dweller, featured above is a mere piker.

Greed is a left-wing propaganda word that means to have or want more than one needs or deserves. So who decides how much everyone needs or deserves? Self anointed limousine liberals like Obama and Al Gore believe they have to make those decisions for us because we’re too greedy! They’ll force people to conform using the carrot/stick approach. First they will entice people to conform by making it appear cool or hip. Holdouts will be forced to conform through threats and intimidation just as they’re doing to “climate deniers.”

This cute little micro house is the carrot!

electric guitar but no room for an amplifier… As usual with liberals, all symbolism, no reality.

Owner most likely keeps the place to show off to friends and sponsors how “eco friendly” he is, living in minimal space, while actually spending his life in a McMansion somewhere in a suburb.

What started out as a cool way to keep Granny out of the death-home has been perverted by moonbats who want to reduce everybody to the controllable mean. First, they took advantage of the mortgage crisis that they caused by mandating subprime mortgages be extended to their sacred demographics, using their own mess to force people out of good housing. Then, they crushed the recovery with more moonbat policies like the crony stimulus package so fewer people can afford to buy or even to rent, thus making microliving a matter of economic survival.

I remember when moonbats railed against ‘ticky-tacky boxes’ (translation: suburban postwar tract housing), and now they’re doubling down with ‘itsy bitsy ticky tacky boxes.’ The ghosts of the hippies who od’ed in the Sixties are choking on the ghost of their weed and the shade of their blotter acid as they see what their descendents have done.
