Commies Occupy Nativity Scene

There is nothing Occucommies won’t stoop to in their increasingly desperate quest for attention. In Cincinnati:

Since 1939 Western and Southern has sponsored a live nativity at Krohn Conservatory. Over the years the live Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus have turned to plastic models but the animals are real and the inn is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Out of spite against the nativity’s corporate sponsor, local Occucommies laid siege to the nativity, pretending to honor Christmas in an attempt to push their leftist propaganda.

The occupiers lined the pathway to the live nativity around 7:30 Wednesday night singing Christmas carols and wishing visitors a Merry Christmas. They also passed out a small pamphlet entitled, “A Christmas Message.”

The occupation was peaceful but some visitors weren’t expecting their presence and message during a family holiday tradition. One woman described it as “sacrilegious” and a father said “Don’t mess with Christmas.”

You know they’re up to something sneaky when moonbats force their muzzles to form the word Christmas.

For an idea of what kind of “Christmas Message” they might have for those celebrating the holiday, refer to their news release, in which they denounce Western & Southern and bellyache that local authorities won’t let them turn public spaces into permanent hippy shantytowns.

Krohn-Nativity
Later to be laid siege to by moonbats.

On a tip from Paul.

It’s time to start using mustard gas on these cretins.

  2. StuartN says:

I think the “Occupy” people have a place in the Nativity scene-as the steaming brown piles found directly behind the ox and ass.

  3. IslandLifer says:

Very sacreligious. How nice though they’d put up a live mangrove scene! Wish they still used real people but very nice! Now to quote the OWSCUM “And we want you to contact the Parks Department, asking them to grant human beings the same rights they’ve granted to farm animals. ” Sorry, you are below animals and therefore will be treated as such.

  4. IslandLifer says:

    * SORRY, not mangrove, I meant manger. Darn autocorrect!

  5. lao says:

The “doctor” offers an Interesting far right response to people singing Christmas carols and handing out pamphlets.

As usual, reading what Blount edited out provides the REAL story.

    From the media article:

“Western and Southern is the company that is working to force the Anna Louise Inn out of Lytle Park a place meant to end homelessness for numerous women,” says occupier Josh Spring.

“They are claiming in Eden Park that they are about helping people, that they are about Jesus, that they are about Christmas but their actions prove that they are in fact for pushing poor people out of town.”

    From the News Release:

    Occupy the Nativity!

WHO: Occupy Cincinnati joined by Rev. Damon Lynch and Rev. Rousseau O’Neil

DETAILS: Jesus was born the poor child of poor parents with nowhere to go, and later in life during his ministry he was homeless and devoted his life to the cause of justice.

This Nativity scene, commemorating Jesus’ life, has been brought to us by Western and Southern, a major corporation that has tried to displace the Anna Louise Inn, a charitable group that provides support to abused women in the spirit of Christ.

    Lao-Z,

Wrong again, but thanks for the complement.
In fact however, the funniest phrase this morning comes from our host, Blount:

“… when Moonbats force their muzzles to form the word Christmas.”

To elaborate, a muzzle refers to an animal’s mouth and nose and the imagery here seems to suggest a kind of ‘Gur..ris moo..s’. Hard for a liberal to say it.

    Very witty, Blount.

  7. Wilberforce says:

I’ve got a friend who’s part of this. She lives in Cincinnati and was there dressed as Mary. Sigh…where to begin with her.

  8. StanInTexas says:

Jesus was born the poor child of poor parents with nowhere to go…

And this statement is all one needs to read to know that these OccupyIdiots have no clue what they were talking about.

Jesus parents (Mary & Joseph) had a home, but were forced to travel to another city by government mandate. Typical of the uneducated to try and turn a beautiful story into a political strawman!

  9. Jay B. says:

    StanInTexas says:
Also Joseph was a carpenter and it does state they were turned down by every inns, it’s very possible they had currency to afford it. Nowhere does it state Jesus’ family was poor or destitute.

  10. Lao Zedong says:

“Jesus was born the poor child of poor parents with nowhere to go, and later in life during his ministry he was homeless and devoted his life to the cause of justice”

    1) As said before, Jesus parents (Mary & Joseph) had a home, but were forced to travel to another city by government mandate

    2) There is no biblical evidence that Jesus was ‘homeless’ in the modern sense during his ministry. He may not have owned a home, but there is not one shred of evidence that he lived out on the streets begging for change.

    3) Jesus’ primary mission was salvation and the forgiveness of sins, not “the cause of justice”. In terms of charity, he challenged the individual to perform charity not to force the government to do it.

  11. SR says:

“… when Moonbats force their muzzles to form the word Christmas.” Lol ……Or snout.

  12. Sinister66 says:

“This Nativity scene, commemorating Jesus’ life, has been brought to us by Western and Southern, a major corporation that has tried to displace the Anna Louise Inn, a charitable group that provides support to abused women in the spirit of Christ.”

Dont mess with the corporations. Like walmart, they get what they want.

  13. Jester says:

Farm animals are the perfect symbol for all occu-progs:

“FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAAAAAAD!!”

  14. Clink says:

So, for at least one night, the nativity scene featured more than one jackass.

  15. Adam says:

““Jesus was born the poor child of poor parents with nowhere to go, and later in life during his ministry he was homeless and devoted his life to the cause of justice,” said Occupy Cincinnati member Josh Spring, who is also executive director of the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless.””
    1. While they obviously weren’t rich, I’m not sure if they’d count as “Poor,” as Joseph was a prominent carpenter who obviously did his job well. Compare this to the Occupy freaks, 98% of which haven’t worked a day in their spoiled little lives.
    2. They had a home, but they had to go to another city to complete the census, and none of the inns had any vacancies left. Hardly the fault of anyone.
    3. As others have said, there is no evidence Jesus was “Homeless.” He traveled a lot, out of choice rather than necessity, and there were always people (i.e. disciples, other supporters) willing to give Him room for the night.
    4. Jesus devoted His life to the cause of bringing salvation to mankind. Literally everything He did was in anticipation/ preparation of His death on the cross and resurrection. This Occupy guy sounds like one of those typical “Liberation Theology” radicals who seek to basically strip Jesus of His Divinity and bastardize Him into a Marxist revolutionary that bears little if any resemblance to what is seen in the Gospel. Just another ultra- liberal perverting the Word of God to try and score points with the religious. It’s the only time ultra- liberals ever refer to Jesus in a manner that’s not insulting.

““This Nativity scene, commemorating Jesus’ life, has been brought to us by Western & Southern, a major corporation that has tried to displace the Anna Louise Inn, a charitable group that provides support to abused women in the spirit of Christ.””
    1. Are the Anna Louise Inn’s actions legal (Proper permits and everything)? Notice that the Occupiers don’t bring that up. If not, they should be displaced until they can make it legal. There are, after all, countless charities for supporting abused women which are fully within the law.
    2. Even if Western and Southern is in the wrong here, their positive contributions to society (i.e. countless jobs supplied) undoubtedly outweigh the negative.

“They also question why the City Park Board would allow a 24-hour permit for a live nativity with barn yard animals, but not to the Occupy Cincinnati group for political speech.”
    1. “Political Speech” given by an Occupy activist can easily turn out to be incitement to violence and crime. Animals can’t talk, so no risk of them doing that.
    2. The animals do not have the potential to get violent in a heartbeat, the way the Occupiers do.
    3. The people behind the nativity scene undoubtedly filled out all the proper paperwork and everyting ensuring that they’d have the legal right to do their thing there. In contrast, Occupiers believe that the law does not apply to them, so they never do any of that, they just assemble where they want and do what they want regardless of how many laws they’re breaking.
    4. The nativity animals are undoubtedly more intelligent, cleaner, and more hygienic than the Occupy vermin.

  16. More evidence you don’t know what you are talking about:

Luke 2:22-24: 22 And when the days for their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “EVERY firstborn MALE THAT OPENS THE WOMB SHALL BE CALLED HOLY TO THE LORD”), 24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of the Lord, “A PAIR OF TURTLEDOVES OR TWO YOUNG PIGEONS.”

Leviticus 12:8: 8 “If a woman cannot afford to bring a lamb, she must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons. One will be for the burnt offering and the other for the purification offering. The priest will sacrifice them to purify her, and she will be ceremonially clean.”
