Congratulations: You’re Having a Lesbian

The blitzkrieg campaign to ram home the liberal talking point that sexual behavior is an incontrovertible fate every human is born with has reached a new extreme of absurdity:

Unfortunately, even the most preposterous propaganda can be effective on the unreasoning herd animals that constitute the majority of any country’s population, so long as it is imposed relentlessly and ubiquitously.

On a tip from Wilberforce.

  1. JEH says:

So if you think people are “converted” into being gay, does that mean with the right convincing, you could have been converted into being gay? No? Just other people?

  2. Flu-Bird says:

Forcing their immoral lifestyles on us is just typical of liberals

  3. Doug says:

    ABORT! ABORT!

  4. Xavier says:

Couple: Lesbian? We can abort up to 20 weeks, right?

RDMS: Right up to labor if you know the right Doctor.

  5. JJ Stone says:

This is where the pro-gay people will suddenly need the pro-life people.

  6. Tax Slave says:

    JEH:

Ask any homosexual male to tell you the story of how he came to know who and what he is. He will usually tell you a sad story of not fitting in and having no friends, until he met an older man who helped them realize it, and how thankful he is to him. Lesbians will tell a similar story. Homosexuality is a learned behavior, as it is for men in prison and it was for men aboard ship.

By the way, evolution and natural selecting are very good at removing dominant genetic characteristics that reduce successfull reproduction. If there is a genetic cause of or predisposition to homosexuality, it must be recessive. Homosexuality is Nature’s way of saying, “You! Out of the gene pool!” At least it was before the invention of the turkey baster.

  7. Rotohammer says:

I had long asserted that conservatives are born in hospitals and liberals are born in public schools. Oops.

  8. Alphamail says:

Remember, you have a couple days after birth to decide to abort.

And even better news is you won’t have to breast feed…

…it’s also a left-wing liberal entitlement baby who will be sucking at the government teat

  9. Rotohammer says:

“Do you want to know what you’re having? You’re having a baby girl trapped in a baby boy’s body. A tragic mistake, I know, but we can fix that as soon as it is old enough for gender reassignment. In the meantime, it’s pink dresses and ribbons for your little one! We can’t have a defective gender identity. That just won’t do. Abort? Oh, my goodness, no! Your child is of a privileged class, not the kind of useless little eater we’re more fond of aborting.”

COMING SOON FROM THE COUNTRY FORMERLY KNOWN AS GREAT BRITIAN TO A CHURCH IN A FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORMED USA

An American evangelist said he was arrested and interrogated about his Christian faith after he was caught on a London sidewalk preaching that homosexuality is a sin.

Tony Miano, a retired deputy sheriff and former chaplain with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept., was charged with “using homophobic speech that could cause people anxiety, distress, alarm or insult.”

Miano had been preaching on a London street corner during the Wimbledon Tennis Championships with a ministry group called Sports Fan Outreach International.

British police prepare to arrest American Evangelist Tony Miano.
He was preaching about immoral living – and cited homosexuality as an example of lifestyle choices that are contrary to biblical teaching.

“I never used any gay slurs,” he said. “You would never hear me using slang or discriminatory language against homosexuals or any other group. That would be contrary to my faith.”

“I did not speak solely about homosexuality as a form of sexual immorality but also about any kind of sex outside marriage between one man and one woman, as well as lustful thoughts,” he said. “All of these are considered mainstream Christian positions and have been taught and believed by Christians for thousands of years.”

Police took the retired deputy sheriff to a nearby jail where he was fingerprinted. Officers also took a sample of his DNA and then he was interrogated.

“It was very distressing to be arrested and interrogated for openly expressing my deeply held Christian beliefs,” he said.

Now back home in Southern California, Miano said he fears that what happened in Great Britain could soon happen in the United States.

“I believe that’s what our government is going to eventually do here,” he said. “I believe homosexuals or others who are sensitive to their point of view will be visiting churches to listen to what preachers say from the pulpit. And I believe that pastors will be arrested in their pulpits for teaching what the Bible says about homosexuality and other sins.”

  11. Elizabeth says:

I used to be of the mindset that you’re born with your sexual orientation and you can’t help it.

Now I think you may be born with a genetic predisposition, but it’s still up to you to choose who you have sex with.

After all, how can you say homosexuality is innate when you have bisexuality? There are few things in this world at such polar extremes as the sexual differences between a man and a woman. If you have sex with both, you are certainly choosing to do such and bucking genetic predispositions.

  12. St. Gilbert says:

So lesbianism can be detected by just looking at an unborn child? What was the tech looking for in the sonogram? She must be using the newly developed ultrasound that zeros in on butch haircuts.

@Tax Slave: The environmental triggers for homosexuality are no longer allowed into the discussion. The argument now hinges on tying homosexuality to genetics. That will be the ultimate “proof” that homosexuality is natural and therefore normal. Only it isn’t proof, and a genetic link is not necessarily relevant to whether a thing is natural. Maybe the tech in the video accidentally pointed the detector at the Lefty dad and figured the poor unborn girl had a pretty good shot at having some psycho-sexual issues down the road.

  13. St. Gilbert says:

(I’ll repeat a comment I posted on another site).

The premise of the video is beyond silly and should be an embarrassment to its supporters. They are saying that homosexuality has a genetic basis using a tool that can detect no such thing. Who knew an ultrasound could detect the genetics of a person? Like most things coming from the Left, they use the wrong tools for the job, get the predetermined results they want, and then call it irrefutable science.

The “born that way”/genetic argument for homosexuality is irrelevant to the question of whether or not homosexuality is natural. That question has been answered in absolute terms by natural law theory centuries ago. But most people today have no understanding of the proper definition of “natural” or of the true essence of a thing, so “natural” can mean anything that suits their particular political agenda. Any number of genetically-based traits are rightly called “unnatural” because of their failure to conform to their proper nature. The rational response to biological unnaturalness is to restore the particular anomaly to its proper nature, purpose, or function, where possible. Blindness, cleft palates, clubfeet, a predisposition to alcoholism, Down syndrome, hemophilia, MD, CF, numbers of cancers, etc, etc, are all genetically-linked — people are born that way — but none are natural in the relevant sense, and none are embraced and celebrated merely because those traits are linked to one’s genetics. The question for homosexuality, then, comes down to whether or not it is a serious moral failing — something left to the faculty of the intellect and our ability to understand and accept the truth about things.

Perhaps in the near future we will see a video where the parents are overjoyed at being told, “Congratulations, you’re having a pedophile.”

  14. Stephan the Original says:

Well done St Gilbert. My contention is that because people actually are only male or female – and therefore actually everybody is really heterosexual – everybody has a mother and father after all. The question ‘So when did you decide to be straight?’ is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. EVERY human body is hardwired for the opposite sex – deal with it.

  15. Stephan the Original says:

sorry – poor grammar above but I think you’ll get it all the same.

  16. RKae says:

A couple of long reads (PDF files; download and read later), but well worthwhile…

    “The ‘Born Gay’ Hoax”: http://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen/08a/born_gay_hoax/TheBornGayHoax.pdf

    “Crafting Gay Children”: http://www.defendthefamily.com/_docs/resources/6390601.pdf

The second one is by Judith Reisman. If you don’t know who she is, you’re missing out. She tore Kinsey completely to pieces.

  17. Wilberforce says:

Oh, the irony that one day an abortion could be a hate crime. Whatever will the regressives do? 🙂

    _

So watch their heads explode when someone answers “Every time I have sex.”

  19. whotothewhat says:

Some ultra sound, what did it see to determine that the baby was going to be a lesbian? A flannel shirt? Piercings? Work boots? keys to a Chevy pickup?

  20. Alan says:

“The question ‘So when did you decide to be straight?’ is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.”

I’m glad I first read that on the internet a year or so ago because in all honesty I was taken aback for a minute.

Then I remembered: I once had, shall we say, odd feelings toward a male classmate in fifth and sixth grade. I got over it around seventh grade, and by eighth grade decided the GIRLS were a whole lot cuter.

I suppose if I put my mind to it, I could learn to be gay. If I spent my life in a place that was 95% gay and straight people were considered freaks, I’d be married to another guy by now. Just like if I had been born in, say, Asia, I’d be eating bugs and worms and rice for lunch instead of pizza.

    Howzat?

  21. Alan says:

They forgot something that CAN be tested in the womb:

Nurse: Congratulations, your baby is black. Looks quite a bit like the fellow who mows your lawn while you’re at work, sir.
    “Dad”: ……….

  22. Alan says:

One more: “Congratulations, you’re having a Conservative. She’ll support freedom, initiative, capitalism, personal responsibility and limited government.”
    Parents: “………”

Oh, and you’ll notice comments have been disabled. So glad you tolerate diversity of opinions, YouTube and AdGuyInExile.

  23. Mdb says:

There is some research showing that lesbians have different brain structures than heterosexual women. Those regions look alot like heterosexual males’ brains and might be caused by some surge of testosterone in utero that causes it. There may be some predisposed genetics that contribute to it but I could really care less about someone’s partner in the bedroom, aside from it being a child in which case I despise you. What I really don’t like is the militancy of the gay rights movement now where it seems to be okay to shove it in my face that your gay and I have to bend over backwards to treat you like your special. If people wanted to be treated the same as everyone else and be “equal” then don’t demand special treatment on applications for college or other things or attack people who don’t support your lifestyle. If someone doesn’t want to make a gay wedding cake or being a photographer at a wedding then pick someone else, don’t go whining to some EEOC commision and try and have the business owner fined or forced to provide a service. If I went into a cake shop with my fiancee and said we were catholic and the owner said they don’t deal with catholics then you know what I’ll go somewhere else and not give you the business, not try and get you shut down for your views.

  24. Mr. Rational says:

Interesting.  If some doctors offered testosterone antagonists for pregnant women to avoid the formation of male traits in female fetuses (such as lesbian urgings), do you think the libs would call it a hate crime?

  25. I suspect that if we can distinguish sexual orientation with a test, we can come up with therapy. The only line between gender dysphoria being a medical condition and homosexuality not being one is that we have sex change operations for the former. That should give folks pause…

As for the question about converting people into being gay…. My own experience (as a man) was that after reading Plutarch’s Life of Lycurgus that I found the male body a lot more erotic after asking whether if I was in a society where such was normal if I would….

In fact I would say that most people should answer “yes” to the question of “if you were living in a time and place, like ancient Sparta where same-sex sexual contact was considered normal, pro-social, and erotic, would you too find it erotic and enjoyable?” If you answer no, I don’t think you are being honest with yourself.

  26. […] Congratulations: You’re Having a Lesbian The blitzkrieg campaign to ram home the liberal talking point that sexual behavior is an incontrovertible fate every human is born with has reached a new extreme of absurdity […]

  27. What they don’t show: Couple turning to each other outside of the doctor’s office and saying, “Next stop, Planned Parenthood!”
