Dashcam Video Debunks Another Hate Hoax

Yet again, video footage spoils a hate hoax:

Ciera Calhoun, a black nurse in her late 20s, accused police officers of racially profiling her and her friends during a traffic stop in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, according to the Kansas City Star.

In a viral — and since deleted — Facebook post, Calhoun said as a result of the treatment she and her fellow nurse friends reportedly endured at the hands of police, she no longer distrusts authorities — she outright hates them.

Calhoun was pulled over for driving at night with her lights off. Due to a training issue, an officer mistakenly warned her about driving with an improper license. Her vehicle was searched because it appeared a plastic bag had been thrown out the window that could have contained drugs. This non-incident was presented as racist oppression.

“Now let me tell y’all,” Calhoun wrote. “[Three] black nurses with [Bachelor’s] degrees and [Master’s] degrees were standing at the side of the road for an hour being harassed.”

“[These] police officers had their hands on their guns the whole time I tell you,” she continued.

As always, it all comes down to race:

“There are some sketch cops out there who are willing to go by any means to bring black people down and [it’s] beyond sad,” Calhoun cautioned. “Be careful out there.”

But then the police pushed back, releasing dashcam video proving that they behaved like gentlemen rather than the KKK. Calhoun removed her inflammatory Fakebook post.

It seems every time blacks encounter police, the event is distorted into racist oppression. The apparent purpose is to establish a legal caste system, with blacks ranking so high that even for police to pull them over for endangering other people’s lives is regarded as intolerable.

Unsurprisingly, Calhoun’s friends in the car backed up her story. But the video didn’t:

Please welcome Ciera Calhoun to the Hate Hoax List.
