Democrat Strategy of Displacing Arizona’s Population Encounters Obstacles

Even partially blocked by the Obama Regime, SB1070 has already had positive effects, according to its author Russell Pearce:

Pearce said that statistics from the Department of Homeland Security and other groups show that between 100,000 and 200,000 illegal aliens have voluntarily left the state since most of it went into effect in 2010.

“We have a violent crime rate drop by three times that of the national average,” Pearce said. …

“Our prison population’s on the decline for the first time in the history of the state of Arizona,” Pearce said, adding that there are about 2,500 fewer inmates in Arizona prisons today than there were before the law went into effect.

Much more good can be done, once federal obstruction is removed.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments for and against four portions of SB 1070. The portions include allowing Arizona law enforcement officers, upon reasonable suspicion, to determine the immigration status of any person lawfully stopped, detained or arrested; making it a state crime for an unauthorized immigrant to violate federal registration laws; criminalizing working or attempting to work by any unlawfully present alien; and authorizing Arizona law enforcement officers to make a warrantless arrest if they have probable cause to believe a person has committed an offense that makes them removable from the United States.

Who would oppose these mild, commonsense measures? The Democrat Party, which has been counting on illegal immigration to ethnically cleanse Arizona by displacement of the native population, fundamentally transforming it from a libertarian land of rugged individualism to an economic basket case populated by Third World welfare colonists who can be counted on to vote for whomever promises them the most of someone else’s money. Flipping the state into the socialist column is so important that the infernal Chuck Schumer is attempting to preemptively overrule the Supreme Court’s decision.

Unfortunately for Demorrhoids, the Obama economy may have undone their strategy. Many Mexicans have been going back to their own country not because of SB1070 but to look for work. There are now as many Mexicans leaving as there are sneaking in, for the first time since the Great Depression.

Expect Democrats to respond by making it even easier for illegal aliens to collect welfare.

Thanks to Obama, now heading south for opportunity.

On tips from Dan Feely, Bob Roberts, Apostle53, and G. Fox.

Speaking of immigration gone out of control…..this should get lao’s pink blood boiling:

Who know, maybe he’ll even quote Media Matters.

Wait until you read the articles on Drudge about the Supreme Court session today. The Obama lawyers were pretty much laughed out of court by the Supremes.

    It will brighten your day.

“You know its bad when…the net flow of Mexicans into the US has fallen so much that there is a high probability that it is now in reverse ending around forty years of inward migration”.

The mexicans also understand how bad bHUSSEINo’s policies have been for America…ha ha,his policies are so bad they realize even they can’t get work here…funny irony.

“This sharp downward trend in net migration has led to the first significant decrease in at least two decades in the number of unauthorized Mexican immigrants living in the U.S. – to 6.1 million in 2011, down from a peak of nearly 7 million in 2007”.

Imagine the crime reduction which would come if they sealed the border against clandestine entry.

A cartel hitman was found to have been living in Sandusky, Ohio for the last ten years. No part of the CONUS is safe from the disorder made possible by an open southern border.

Why would the Socialists want to protect illegal aliens from deportation back to their home country? That is the question to ask. The answer deduced will reveal their only motive, and demonstrate the DNC’s existential threat to the Republic.

Anyone getting redirected when visiting moonbattery? Last night at my house and now at work I have been redirected to here.

  7. Jodie says:

I happened upon a typical PBS show this morning where they were praising Obama for stemming the flow of illegal immigration from Mexico. They inferred that the decrease in illegal border crossings was due to Obama’s successful border enforcement policies – and NOT due to SB1070, or the fact that there are no jobs in America or that the economy is in horrible shape.

I agree that the elites have been trying to displace whites as a form of ethnic warfare. Whites are only now waking up to the facts. Asia for Asians, Africa for Africans, white countries for everybody.
Each state has the right to protect its’ citizens. I hope the Supreme Court rules in favor of Arizona. If so, you will see sweeping changes countrywide, and end to the invasion, and maybe even an improvement in the states’ coffers with less entitlements to deal with. The Dems are traitors and should be shot, but plenty of Repub businesses use illegals for cheap labor as well. Clearly, this carp is unsustainable. California is about to go belly up and will need a federal bailout, while the dumbass legislators pass the Dream Act. It’s surreal.

    From Drudge on SCOTUS:

“Only eight justices were present for the arguments. Justice Elana Kagan recused herself from the case, presumably because she was the Obama administration’s solicitor general in 2010, when the law was being debated in Arizona.”

Hold-on, Obamacare was also being debated in 2010 when Kagan was solicitor general … why didn’t she recuse herself on that matter too?

The curse of being civilized: we are willing to defend our homes and family to the death, but are unwilling to drag the COMMUNIST TRAITORS out of their chairs and hang them. Our great-grandparents would have loaded their guns and rode their horses, fords and trains to Washington before the army could mobilize to JOIN THEM. Today, we are too CIVILIZED.

If Congress is alowed to over-rule the Supeme Court and we do nothing, the country will officialy be COMMUNIST.

  12. KHarn says:

I just sent an E-Mail to my govenor asking him to oppose Schumer and his band of traitors. I pointed out that since this act by the commies would NULLIFY the Constitution, we would no longer be bound by any agreement with the feds and we should do one or all of several things:
    1. Declare independance (Secession was never ruled on).
    2. With Hold tax money.
    3. Call out the National Guard, possibly arresting anyone who voted for this bill.

This may be our last stand.

  13. ent says:

I’m surprised that the Democrats are not now proposing that we tighten border security, to prevent those voters, I mean illegal aliens, I mean undocumented workers doing jobs that Americans won’t do, from leaving the country.

  14. soulpile says:

Every time I see an anti-SB1070 sticker on a car around here, I’m tempted to get a cling-on printed up to slap next to the sticker: “Did you even read it?”

I only wish that 1070 had the effect these idiots say it does.

I just read Sotomayor had issues with the Administration’s argument… and Obama’s lawyer is a putz
As with the debate on obamacare, Sotomayor was basically coaching the government’s lead attorney. How blatant is her bias? Enough that I’m surprised that she isn’t impeached.

Yet another reason that majorities in the House and Senate are needed.

  18. Bob Roberts says:

Only one Supreme Court Justice, Samuel Chase (one of the signatories to the Declaration of Independence), has ever been impeached. The House of Representatives accused Chase of letting his Federalist political leanings affect his rulings, and served him with eight articles of impeachment in late 1804.
