Dems Choose Coercively Financed Abortion Over Fighting Human Trafficking

At least there is one thing that Democrats agree with sane people about: human trafficking is bad. But they don’t think it is so bad that you would do something to stop it at the cost of giving up taxpayer-financed abortions:

Combating human trafficking is one of few bipartisan issues on Capitol Hill. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) introduced The Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act, a bill that would create a “Domestic Trafficking Victims’ Fund” to aid victims of human trafficking. It passed the Judiciary Committee easily and was ready for progress. Yet, one issue stopped Democrats from ultimately lending their support: abortion.

Included in Cornyn’s anti-trafficking act, is The Hyde Amendment, which prevents money from being funneled toward abortions.

Using our confiscated money to finance killing children is a far higher priority for the slavery party than restricting human trafficking.

What evidence, other than faux statistics from feminist groups is there that “human trafficking” is a major issue? If you look at the stories on the big under cover operations aimed at stopping it, the only ones arrested are hookers, some of whom claim to be “trafficed” so they can get a ticket home for a vacation before returning.

The biggest, most obvious “human trafficing” problem we face is Obozo’s amnesty, one that Cornyn supported by voting to allow the funding for it to come to the floor of the house.

This is just more Kabuki theater to distract people from the RINO’s facilitating the dismantling of American sovereignty.

Al, you seem to think the point was to stop a despicable act. This was about eliminating the competition.
