Dynamic Scoring Ruse Won’t Stop Amnesty From Causing Economic Collapse

Among the few who seem to grasp that the coming amnesty could be literally the worst thing that ever happened to America, we can count Ann Coulter:

The Heritage Foundation recently issued a comprehensive report showing that Sen. Marco Rubio’s plan to instantly legalize 11.5 million illegal immigrants would add $6.3 trillion to the nation’s budget deficits over the next 50 years. Heritage assumed there are 11.5 million illegals, but other estimates put the number at 33 million, which would mean adding another $18 trillion to the deficit. To put that in perspective, the largest U.S. budget deficit in history was $1.4 trillion in 2009.

Currently, the average illegal alien gets about $24,721 in taxpayer-funded benefits and pays about $10,334 in taxes. After full legalization, they will be eligible for a whole new panoply of government benefits such as direct welfare payments, Obamacare, Social Security and Medicare. Heritage concludes that the total government benefits to these former illegal aliens will then rise to about $43,900 per household, while the taxes paid by them will increase only modestly to around $16,000.

Not to worry, coos quisling Senator Marco Rubio, who attached his young RINO face to Chuck Schumer’s treasonous amnesty bill. Bureaucrats can produce less alarming numbers by using “dynamic scoring,” which takes into account the beneficial effect on the economy of opening the border to an essentially infinite horde of low-skilled workers, many of whom will not be working but rather living off lavish welfare benefits.

Anyone actually believing that there will be any such beneficial effect not only doesn’t belong in the Senate, but doesn’t belong walking around loose outside the confines of a mental asylum.

  1. MikeNC says:

Check out the look on Schumer’s face as he smirks at Rubio. He is probably thinking “look how easy it was to bring him to the dark side. His training will be complete when he declares himself a Democrat”.

  2. KHarn says:

On behalf of Florida, I apologize.

We had such great hopes for Rubio, but it seems that he was just another silver-tongued rat.

  3. Ummah Gummah says:

You Floridians also have Jeb Bush to answer for..

  4. Ummah Gummah says:

I wonder what McRINO’s got inside those cheek implants of his.. maybe the VC implanted him with some weird Commie remote control?

  5. Flu-Bird says:

All those who support AMNESTY and THE DREAM ACT are all TRAITORS everyone of them

  6. Nat says:

It’s all deja vu all over again. Remember what Ted Kennedy’s promises about the 1965 Immigration Act?

“The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.” (U.S. Senate, Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization of the Committee on the Judiciary, Washington, D.C., Feb. 10, 1965. pp. 1-3.)

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

  7. Vic Kelley says:

Sell out scam artist. You know when someone is happy to stand with Schumer and McCain there’s going to be some lying and betrayal.

  8. Doug says:

MikeNC: Chuck Schmegma is probably thinking about how pleasurable it was for him to screw Rubio in the a**.

It’s one thing in the era of Hopey Change for the Obama Regime’s IRS attack machine to go after white conservative groups, but quite another to target the Latino community who they claim they want to curry political favor with. Nevertheless, none will apparently be spared from the IRS’s treachery:

“The Internal Revenue Service scandal involving the apparently unjustified targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups has also hit home with the Hispanic community.

George Rodriguez, former president of the San Antonio Tea Party, said that when the organization applied for non-profit status, leaders were intimidated by IRS workers with excessive paperwork and meddling questions.”

Hundreds of illegal immigrants with criminal records were released earlier this year as the Obama administration prepared for budget cuts, according to newly released data that challenged claims the program involved “low-risk” individuals.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement released the figures to two top senators, after a three-month delay and under the threat of congressional subpoenas.

Of the 2,226 detainees that were released in February, the department revealed, “622 have been identified as having some type of criminal conviction.”

McCain called for those responsible to be punished.

“ICE’s reprehensible actions put Arizona at risk by setting free into our communities hundreds of detainees who were guilty of criminal offenses,” he said. “The ICE officials responsible for this must face disciplinary action and must take all actions necessary to ensure that this never happens again.”

In late February, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said: “As ICE made clear yesterday, the agency released these low-risk, non-criminal detainees under a less expensive form of monitoring to ensure detention levels stayed within ICE’s overall budget.”

But according to McCain and Levin, some of those released had lengthy rap sheets.

One of them released in Phoenix had a second-degree robbery conviction and convictions for prostitution and solicitation for lewd conduct.

Another had been convicted of an “extreme” case of driving under the influence, harassment, and causing criminal damage to property. And yet another had prior convictions for carrying a gun, felony possession of drugs, burglary, vandalism and trespassing.

There is no way that Rubio or anyone else with a walnut-sized brain does not know that the costs for this amnesty bill will be catastrophic.

It does not take an accountant to see that Mexicans have left a trail of generational poverty from Mexico into the Southwestern U.S., California, the Pacific NW. and across VA, MD and into New York

The only ones buying into the idea of a “tax benefit” from amnesty are mindless sneering liberals and the usual door-holding, yes’m RINOs.

Mexicans will vote liberal. They will become permanent wards of the state, overtaking political offices and will in so doing, will completely destroy the Republican party. And along with it, the sorry remnants of the Constitutional Republic.

    Its easy not to act.

Politicians do however, respond to public pressure.

Put down the Slurpy, wipe the ketchup off your mouth and call your senator.

This bill can be stopped using less energy now, than it will take to learn Español.

(Lo sé, lo sé. Ya habla Español)

  12. Bo Jangles says:

Lens-Lice Schumer’s expression says it all. “Welcome, said the spider to the fly…”

  13. Gary Benson says:

Rubio SHOULD be a DEM. POS idiot.
Everyone here should get on the phone and raise hell with the Senate and Congress. Call, email, write letters, faxes. Don’t let this amnesty pass. Join Numbers, Alipac, Caps, and Fair. NO AMNESTY!

  14. Huh says:

    Recalculate for 30 million illegals!

ClowardandPiven would be proud of Obama

  15. Fiberal says:

    16 – 1(that being Fiberal) = 15 comments on amnesty.

An indication of national interest? Let’s hope not, but there’s no general interest, period.
