Elizabeth Warren Rakes in Wall Street’s Cash While Denouncing It

Marxist Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren considers herself the mother of the repugnant Occupy Wall Street movement — which makes this awfully odd:

[Warren] has been criticizing Scott Brown for being “Wall Street’s favorite Senator.” She has also denounced “Wall Street cash in politics.”

But it turns out she may be indirectly accepting Wall Street money. The Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, which is helping the Harvard Professor, has taken over $40 million from Wall Street during the last 7 years according to records from OpenSecrets.org. In fact, Wall Street is the biggest contributors to them. They beat lawyers and labor union[s]. Just during this election season the DSCC has already received $1.5 million from Wall Street.

If Lizzy Warden is truly opposed to Wall Street money, then shouldn’t she reject the DSCC’s money? Otherwise she is just using the DSCC to funnel in Wall Street money.

Yes she should, if she wants anyone to take her rhetoric seriously. But she’s not going to:

Elizabeth Warren — who hauled in an eye-popping $5.7 million the last three months of 2011 — refused to swear off Wall Street money [Wednesday], instead claiming that any money she gets from deep-pocketed financiers is coming from those who “want reform.”

At least she knows how to tell a joke. Obviously business people don’t bribe politicians because they want to be reformed.

Meanwhile, Whorin’ Warren is still denouncing her opponent Scott Brown as Wall Street’s candidate. The sheer mass of liberal hypocrisy warps time and space.

Incidentally, the Occucommie movement she’s so proud to have allegedly inspired has declared class war on the 1% top earners. She made $564,000 in 2010, achieving the status of caviar communist. With the money she could rake in as a Senator, she might one day make the list of the most outlandishly wealthy OWS supporters.

    What a mind-numbingly STUPID quote.

If Warren’s thinks that she and her little government cronies are responsible for every successful business in this country, does she also accept responsibility for the failed ones?

Nope!!! Typical Liberal one-way street. If you fail, it sucks to be you. If you succeed, then we want a part of it RIGHT NOW!!!

  2. Dr. 9 says:

She, like the Marxist-in-Chief, are typical of the radical Left. Meaning, they’re liars. They attack others for doing and saying what they themselves do and say, then rely on their MSM to spin it the right way for the gullible and mindless public.

Remember one of the basic principles of the Left, do as we say, not as we do…

Wall streets feeds the crocodile hoping that it will eat them last.
If Obama is reelected, and people like Ms. Warren gain power I can only hope that these idiots end up in show trials like the “old bolsheviks” going but..but…but…

While not a fan of Scott Brown if Massachusetts chooses Elizabeth Warren the crazies will be running the asylum. I sincerely believe that one day the men in white coats will come in and scope up this Marxist lunatic.

    Dear Donkey Head,

Those roads you mention, and the military you mention, etc… those are – and, please, write this down:

    Public Goods.

Conservatives aren’t anarchists. We do see a role for government. And here’s the part you don’t understand:

Public Goods were put in place SPECIFICALLY to support the economy. That’s “the general welfare.”

What, you thought that the Mass Turnpike was built just to allow you elitists to drive out to Tanglewood every autumn?

    What an absolute dope.

Of course there are public goods and OF COURSE we have to pay for them. But what kind of a dope truly believes that we aren’t paying too much, and that the welfare state is in the same category as Defense, Roads, Ports, etc.

    What a communist.

EGAD! Liberal women are as ugly as the south end of a north bound skunk.

If Taxachusetts nutbags elect this crone, they truly are idiots.

  9. Drury says:

Love this part of her quote:

“You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory…”

    Here’s what’s left out:

“Unless of course you are a certain guitar manufacturer—that didn’t give enough campaign contributions to Democraps—-and your competitor who bribed us with lots of cash complains—then WE will become the marauding bands that seize everything from your factory.”

  10. Cannon Fodder says:

I just love the statement in the pic at the bottom of the post! She says you moved your materials to your factory to and from your factory on roads others paid for, it was kept safe by cops and firefighters others paid for, etc, ad nauseum. Umm,if the person that built that factory is part of the 1%, didn’t he/she bear like 94-96% of the tax burden? Isn’t that what I have been hearing recently?

If that is so, that means that he/she paid for more of those roads, police/firefighter salaries, etc than any other person out there and therefore entitled to hold on to that much more of the profits brought in.

    Therefore, her statement is invalid!

The Roads, the education, safety and all things that good things that are America are equally available to EVERYONE. Then why is it not the case that everyone has a huge successful business? Because they are not what makes the enterpenuer successful. The successful business person works with whatever resources are available and creatively, magically somehow makes a thriving business. If she was right we should all be freaking millionaires. No. She is dead wrong. It IS business owners and entrepenuers that create jobs and wealth IN SPITE of whatever the status quo is.

She is wrong. End the tax on business. it is only passed on to consumers, the poor. She is lying.
