Environmentalist Hysteria From RFK

Environmentalist hysteria from Democrats is not a new phenomenon. In 1968, Robert Kennedy told children in a campaign ad that in the “next several decades,” people would have to wear gas masks to go out and about in New York City. Worse yet, we will have to live underground:

RFK’s soothsaying was as accurate as the 1989 prediction screeched by Associated Press that we had 10 years to repeal the industrial revolution or face climate doom. As it turned out, the only reason to wear a gas mask in NYC is to avoid inhaling all the moonbattery.
