EPA’s Gold King Mine Spill Was Predicted 6 Days in Advance

The environmental disaster the EPA caused at the Gold King mine in Colorado was predicted 6 days in advance:

This letter to editor, posted below, was published in The Silverton Standard and The Miner local newspaper, authored by a retired geologist, one week before EPA mine spill. The letter detailed verbatim, how EPA officials would foul up the Animas River on purpose in order to secure superfund money. If the Gold King mine was declared a superfund site it would essentially kill future development for the mining industry. The Obama EPA is vehemently opposed to mining and development.

The EPA says it was “very careful” as it caused the catastrophe. In contrast to its free market victims, it will face no fines for the environmental damage it brought about. At least the experts say the arsenic, lead, et cetera likely won’t affect the water supply here in Phoenix, despite the bright orange toxic sludge heading straight for Lake Powell; from there it will enter the Colorado River, which keeps Phoenix alive.

I thought at least this time the devastation wrought by this pernicious agency was accidental, unlike the economic damage it inflicts. Maybe not.

the letter seems to be gone from the site!

If the “experts” are government ones then the people of Phoenix had better stock up on bottled water. I wouldn’t trust a single thing the DC regime says.

For all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, all of the insults thrown at those of us that support “fracking” to extract oil from our own lands, we’re supposed to be the dumbasses, the bad guys.

Whatever will the enviroNazis say now?

The spill is full of “heavy” metals, toxic to the core. The rivers affected will remain toxic for years. No penalties for the EPA of course, but heaven forbid, someone digs a hole for a pond on their own land and an EPA SWAT team will descend upon the landowner like seagulls to garbage.

We the people are so ready to be done with the EPA and the IRS. The only thing we lack are the politicians who would serve the people who elected them.

The Navajo Nation is going to sue the EPA if there isn’t a proper fix, because they’re right in the path of this sludge. But is anyone on the Left pointing out that, yet again, the federal government is endangering Native American lives?
