Epstein and Public Trust

Maybe the best thing about the demise of Jeffrey Epstein is that the story is too lurid to escape widespread attention and too fishy not to erode public gullibility regarding the trustworthiness of Big Government and Big Media.

Black Pigeon Speaks explains:

Conspiracy theories are blossoming right and left. No matter how absurd, they all contain one grain of truth: the authorities are not likely to tell us the whole truth about how he escaped justice for so long and why he is now dead.

If people reject the establishment narrative regarding Epstein, who is to say they will continue to believe it regarding global warming, white guilt, the wisdom of open borders, et cetera?
