Even Without Indictment, Comey Statement Is Not Good News for Hillary

Shrillary may have dodged the bullet legally, but not politically, as WaPo notes:

[Director James] Comey said the FBI found 110 emails on Clinton’s server that were classified at the time they were sent or received. That stands in direct contradiction to Clinton’s repeated insistence she never sent or received any classified emails. And it even stands in contrast to her amended statement that she never knowingly sent or received any classified information. …

It’s hard to read Comey’s statement as anything other than a wholesale rebuke of the story Clinton and her campaign team have been telling ever since the existence of her private email server came to light in spring 2015. She did send and receive classified emails. The setup did leave her — and the classified information on the server — subject to a possible foreign hack. She and her team did delete emails as personal that contained professional information.

Even if influence peddling won’t be proven just yet, her untrustworthiness is beyond any dispute.

If Republicans would field a serious candidate, this would be enough to sink her, indictment or no indictment.

No one could find her trustworthy.

On a tip from Stormfax.

  1. Serious candidate??? Who do you suggest?

  2. Karma's Janitor says:

Being a government contractor for a few years and having an old friend in IT management, just a few pieces of what he said would be enough to get you fired, indicted, fined and possibly sentenced.
We live in a Banana Republic, being witness to this shows the government no longer observes it own laws, and there is no reason for citizens to support them.
To each his own, adjust accordingly, the government serves itself.
The government is corrupt to its core and don’t mind showing you there is nothing you can do about it.

  3. John27 says:

Obama, Lynch, and both Clintons should be arrested by the FBI and charged under RICO laws. Anything less than that and rule of law is officially dead in the former United States of America.

  4. Ian B says:

It seems to me here in the UK with the Brexit chaos descending into political horse trading, that on both sides of the Pond we have an absolute crisis of the quality of the political class. Something’s got to give.

There is no honor in government, only favors.

What needs to give is the gallows platform the Obama regime is standing on.

Court: Officials can’t use private email accounts to evade records laws
    July 05, 2016, 11:42 am
Federal officials may not use private email accounts to get around public records laws, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit overturned a lower court decision in which judges dismissed claims from the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a conservative think tank that attempted to obtain correspondence from a top White House official through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

“If a department head can deprive the citizens of their right to know what his department is up to by the simple expedient of maintaining his departmental emails on an account in another domain, that purpose is hardly served,” Sentelle wrote.

“It would make as much sense to say that the department head could deprive requestors of hard-copy documents by leaving them in a file at his daughter’s house and then claiming that they are under her control,” he said.
The ruling was released the same day that FBI Director James Comey announced his department is not recommending criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server while secretary of State.

  8. Ian B says:

Laws are for the little people.

  9. Take The Red Pill says:

Shrillary may not be trustworthy but that doesn’t matter; the current occupant of the White House (who had no political experience other than being a career “community organizer” and a senator with less than one term) was elected just because he has black skin.
Democrats will vote for Shrillary just because she is a Democrat, and women (who desperately want a ‘woman president’ at ANY cost) will vote for Shrillary simply because she has XX chromosomes, boobs, and a vagina. (And of course, they will scream in protest if any man refuses to vote for Shrillary because she has XX chromosomes, boobs, and a vagina.)

  10. rodan says:

only her iraq war vote can stop hillary now. we will see if bernie supporters will vote for war criminal.

  11. Rotohammer says:

The FBI has found her guilty. By not indicting her, Hillary will not be
mounting a defense. That defense would have amounted to obfuscating,
obstructing, and running out the clock until November.

She is now Hillary the Unindicted. The Unintentional Secretary of State. The Unintentional Candidate. I hope she does not become the Unintentional President.

  12. Occam's Stubble says:

I think the Brexit vote was the beginning of something giving over there.

I’m no fan of Trump, but if he manages to get elected president, that will be the beginning of something here.

O.J. Hillary – did the crime, but not the time

  15. mouth2taco says:

This is the new democrats – they won’t give a damn.

  16. OldSailor says:

“No one could find her trustworthy.”

Wrong. About 45% of the voters that will go to the polls in November will vote for her regardless and it isn’t about Trump. They would vote Dem even if Martin Luthor King were running as the Republican candidate. That same 45% WILL find her trustworthy.

    Yes, they are that stupid.

  17. OldSailor says:

Even Trump would be a better choice than Hillary, and I am no fan of Trump’s.

  18. OldSailor says:

Google “Tyburn Triple Tree.” I’d love to see the Obama and Clinton criminal cabals decorating it.

  19. rambler says:

I told some friends prior to Bill getting elected that he was a liar, corrupt, total sleaze and would forever tarnish the presidency. They said that he could be scum and still be a great president. After he was exposed and it turned out I was right, those friends just didn’t have the guts to face me again.

  20. maudieNmandeville says:

#BLM doesn’t like the “superpredators” label, either.

  21. maudieNmandeville says:

But Trump called that judge a mexican.

  22. MsnDxn says:

No, this *is* good news for Hillary. Committing a crime and then beating the rap is a resume’-enhancement according to the average liberal voter. She has just raised her profile up a lot higher in their eyes. They can’t wait to rush to the polls multiple times in order to vote for her.

And have you noticed: Not a single GOP member has said a word. They just collect their under-the-table payoffs and keep quiet.

The only way this crap will be stopped is with one of two things:

    1. Conservatives start acting like liberals. Riots, car-burning, and beatings of constituents at Democrat rallies, followed by massive voter fraud on election day.

    2. A Second American Revolution. The citizens need to storm Washington and drag out all three branches of government in handcuffs, to be locked away in a cell in Iraq.

Either way, it’s going to require massive upheaval and a total re-do of the process and the government.

  23. MsnDxn says:

I told some liberal friends about Bill Clinton before he was elected, too. Even after he was caught, tried, and impeached, they still swore his innocence.

Liberals are just dumb-f*cks that won’t change their minds no matter how much contrary evidence is presented. If we’re going to fix the country the first thing we need to do is get rid of all liberals.

  24. MicahStone says:

After the Comey POLITICAL CAVE-IN, the OBOZO dictatorship / caliphate awarded Hillary by creating a new agency in her honor…

  25. MsnDxn says:

I’m beginning to see why men will accept Sharia Law. Once in place, all the shrieking women and special interest groups are put to death, and that’s the end of it.

  26. OldSailor says:

So did I. I did some serious research into both Bill and Hill prior to that first election and NOTHING I have seen or heard since then indicates they have changed at all for the better.

  27. Donna M says:

    Ya’ know….
She still has an unresolved issues, regarding her family’s foundation and the “criminal”, negligence management, aspects about those e-mails…

  28. MicahStone says:

When caught doing a crime, you may now use the “Comey” defense….
But, officer, I didn’t INTEND to go through that red light !!

  29. Donna M says:

This only shows us, how rife with CORRUPTION, our gov has become under the Wormwood tenure…
The gov “rot” is so pernicious and runs so deep, that to remove it, by incriminating the total extent of it would, “literally”, tear this country asunder!
    …and it envolves a potential, presidential candidate…
Not some gov dept administrator “wonk”, accused of wrong doing…
The beast can repair “some” of the fallout, and damage control by dropping out…
…but, the beast is not about to sacrifice herself and “FALL” ON HER SWORD!, FOR THE “GOOD” OF THIS COUNTRY!!!…EVER!!!!
She’ll see this country torn apart and destroyed first, before that, “NEVER!”, HAPPENS!!!

Gov crisis management, is how “DICTATORS” are made…!

  30. Donna M says:

    Like who knew?
    Together, they did, “change everything”!

…and I will now, forever mourn the “sacrifices”, that were made in vain…

  31. MissAnthropy says:

What do you mean field a serious candidate? Trump is the only one who might actually attack her over this. We all remember Romney forfeiting on Benghazi during those debates. The rest of the GOP field this year would be no different, obsessed as they are with this phony decorum and collegiality that is never reciprocated by the Democrats.

  32. Donna M says:

I was wrong about Loretta Lynch getting her “teeth kicked out”…!
They just “ZIPPED UP!” FBI Director Comey’s body bag…
…and at this time, his remains are not in despute…
The toe tag reads, “delete” all evidence!

  33. 762x51 says:

The only real question remaining is was Comey paid off or blackmailed?

Another treasonous worm for the list.

  34. 762x51 says:

It won’t be long now. I doubt you could get more than a handful of people to “storm D.C.”, but there is clearly one hell of a fight coming. Once it starts, stopping it will be impossible. Based on the behavior I have seen from law enforcement, the death toll will be catastrophic.

  35. Pyrran says:

    It’s alive!!!! It’s alive!!!!

  38. 762x51 says:

I’m sending him a Tactical Tampon Holster because he is a such a pussy.

  39. Donna M says:

    Oh yeah!
Sometimes, ya’ need a “radical” solution, to remove the gangrenous, “rot”, so that the rest of the body may live…

  40. Donna M says:

Perfect candidate, for the “victim”, in Edgar Allen Poe’s, Gothic Classic…
    “The Tell Tale Heart”…!

  41. Donna M says:

Yeah, like our ability to “contain” our TEMPERS…GRRRRR….!
While smiling, “politely”, into the faces of these “CLUELESS GOVERNMENT, IDIOTS”!
…when ya’ actually, want to “slap” some measure of sense into them!!!

  42. Donna M says:

Because at this point, your beyond, temper management, “self control”!

  43. Donna M says:

Your speaking the “language of the Trophy”…

  44. Donna M says:

    Thank goodness!!!
No one asked “her”, to “dress up” in a halter top, mini skirt and stilleto heels, so the guy she’s with, could stop traffic!!!!

  45. Donna M says:

    I, most certainly, will!
    …for “anything”!

  46. Donna M says:

    That’s only “if”, I ever get caught…
    perpetrating, a “crime”…
…which, in fact, is very unlikely, “ever!”

  47. Donna M says:

Well, they are trying to prove…
That “everything”, even government and application of law, is now considered, to be neither permanent, concrete, nor static…
“Subjects” to this ambiguous, “Gumby”, flexibility concept, include people, places and things…
…and now its ideology and the application of law…
Bend it, stretch it, reshape it… distort it, abuse it, malform it and mistreat it!
