Fired Municipal Bureaucrat Demands $837,000 in Vacation and Sick Pay

The greed and arrogance of the parasites who rule us know no bounds:

A former employee of Bell, Calif., which made headlines for paying enormous salaries to a slew of officials who now face criminal charges, is suing the city for $837,000 in unused vacation and sick time.

Eric Eggena, who was director of general services in the small Los Angeles suburb, was paid as much as $421,000 a year in total compensation after starting at just $90,000 in 2002, according to the Los Angeles Times. Although he was not among the eight city officials who were arrested in a criminal probe, he was fired when the scandal broke.

The scandal involved compensation packages for municipal bureauweenies as high as $1.5 million per year.

Due to the ongoing Reconquista, the population of Bell is over 93% Hispanic. Socialists who rule over largely illegal immigrant peasants from a dysfunctional Third World country evidently find looting their electorate to be easy work. This is one reason our government refuses to defend the USA’s territorial sovereignty.

Eggena’s attorney, Richard Shinee, said the city must honor the contract, regardless of the terms.

The sooner cities (and union-infested corporations like Government Motors) go through bankruptcy, the sooner we can put an end to these obscene contracts once and for all. Even the bureaucrats will be better off if we stop the gravy train before it reaches its final destination: total economic collapse and their heads stuck on pikes by angry mobs.

End of the line for bureaucrats’ gravy train.

On a tip from Wiggins.

The only way to stop this nonsense is to give California back to Mexico.

California should be cut off from the United States and left to go its own way.

Now add this that many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens…” — Ben Stein

Well, every circus needs a sideshow, CA. is America’s. They should erect a huge sign as you cross the Navada border going west that says, “Welcome To FUBAR”.

They’ll be tried, convicted, and punished, and the sheeple will go back to thinking that the problem is solved and justice is done.

Meanwhile, nobody seems to notice or care that CalPERS is taking on water, with breaches in just one too many watertight compartments. The people of California will finally realize something is wrong when the ship starts to list and nothing can be done about it.

The pension system is already out of round by over half a trillion dollars, by conservative estimates, and assuming our rotten economy doesn’t get any worse.
