Fourth Graders Compelled to Denounce Constitution in Crayon

indoctrination

If we don’t get education out of the hands of statists, we may as well disband the military, because within a generation there will be no liberty left to defend. The latest public school brainwashing outrage:

A father in Duval County, Florida has alleged that his son’s fourth-grade teacher instructed students to express — in crayon — their desire to trade rights guaranteed in the Constitution for a feeling of added security.

The concerned father, Aaron Harvey, says his son and other kids in his son’s class had to scribble: “I am willing to give up some of my constitution rights in order to be safer or more secure.”

The incident happened at some point during a civics lesson at Cedar Hills Elementary School in Jacksonville, Florida, reports First Coast News.

A few quotes come to mind:

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Benjamin Franklin

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
Vladimir Lenin

“When an opponent declares, ‘I will not come over to your side,’ I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.’”
Adolf Hitler

When we let oligarchical collectivists take over education, we let them take over the country without firing a shot.

The fuming father noted that his 10-year-old son can’t possibly want to give up the rights he enjoys under the Constitution because he doesn’t fully understand the rights he enjoys in the first place.

Of course not. The conditioning has to start before the subject knows enough to resist it.

“I served in the military. I served to protect my family, my country, and that Constitution and everyone’s freedom,” Harvey added, according to WOKV.

We are moving past the point where there is still any use fighting liberty’s enemies overseas.

Teacher Cheryl Jeanette Sabb’s assignment came to light when Amy Harvey happened to find it in her son’s backpack. As usual when caught in the act, the brainwashing miscreants backed away from their own wicked beliefs — this time even denying responsibility:

Officials for the Duval County Public Schools can’t seem to keep their story straight. Initially — hilariously — district officials allegedly assured Harvey that his son had undertaken the declaration to give up rights entirely on his own, with no encouragement from his teacher.

Entrusting a child’s education to Big Government and Big Unions borders on willful neglect.

Foolish father serving “his” country thinks it is still “his”.

Nice quote from John Dewey, the father of American Education and revered by the teachers unions. There is a horrible high school in Brooklyn named after him.

The Cancer of Communism has had a long time to metastasize. Given a bit more time and boldness, there will be Vladamir I Lenin High Schools, Middle Schools and Preparatory Schools all over the nation. First they have to begin naming Barack Hussein Obama and Michelle Obama Schoold of Economics..

We’re not supposed to know the favored ethnicity of the teacher who dictated the commie propoganda to little the 4th grader, lest we start seeing a pattern with the types of Marxist low-life sell-outs willing to stoop so low and discard and displace our country’s founding principles with the “re-educational” ideology of Hope and Change. One wonders if the teacher, Ms. Sabb, felt proud of betraying her country in influencing young minds with Marxist propoganda.

    Dave,

Here is another one on the topic of education. Columbia prof is in court for incest:

David Epstein was charged last week with one count of incest for what was allegedly a consensual three-year sexual relationship with his daughter.

    What is his defense?

It’s ok for homosexuals to do what they want at home, how is this different?

Oh and a little fact about Mr. Epstein, he’s also, or at least used to be, a Huffpo propagandist.

The entire purpose of the so-called Common Core State Standards that everyone who watched the Masters kept hearing about yesterday is to allow the focus of education to finally shift toward John Dewey’s dream of reconstructing society. You simply use the classroom to change values, create false beliefs, manipulate attitudes, and instill desired feelings. Voila!

Conveniently the unappreciated federally required definitions of Student Growth and Learning are actually broad enough to now pick up what used to be called the infamous Outcomes Based Education.

http://www.invisibleserfscollar.com/students-must-see-themselves-as-active-participants-in-social-change-and-designers-of-social-futures/ lays out why computer gaming is so important to this vision of the Common Core classroom.

Remember FALSE beliefs are just as influential as correct beliefs. Maybe even more so if the passions have been deliberately fanned by false beliefs to provoke action for change.

My husband and I sacrificed to send our daughter to private school after the public school wanted to lable her and get a government handout for a “special needs child”. This is just another reason to get your kids out of public schools-NOW- not next year or after they get out of x grade.

    Spartan24,

30+ years ago I too was in public school where a teacher with a history of disliking young boys and insisting that they be placed in “special” education classes took a dislike to me. Until your post I never connected it to a financial motive for doing that.

I never forgot being taken to an evaluation at five-years-old. I was terrified, brought to a strange place and convinced I was going to jail. I still have my assessment which called me a “willful little boy with above average intelligence and linguistic abilities”. My mother pulled me from that school and placed me in parochial schools after that.

That miserable twat teacher was willing to sell a five-year-old boy into the slavery of the short bus crowd. That was in 1980, the power of the unions has quadrupled and their rhetoric has only become more toxic. These bastards have ruined millions of children, many who were likely similar to me – WILLFUL Five-Year-Olds whom their “teachers” didn’t have the patience for and had a financial motivation for destroying.

One look at that ogre’s face and you know all you need to…yet we keep allowing these quislings to operate in our country.

Her actions (and those of the school board) also let you know where this is coming from. Do they stand by what they do? Do they explain it? To they defend it?

    NO!

They lie, then change their story, then say “HE did it!”

This is child abuse, and that ugly, grinning traitor (at best) needs to be fired and never allowed near a child again.

  11. Laurie says:

    .
I wonder how many of her rights Ms. Sabb is willing to give up? Given her race, would she be willing to give up the 13th Amendment, which abolishes slavery? Or, given her gender, would she give up the 19th Amendment, which gives women the right to vote?

If her Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama gave a glowing speech about how repealing the 13th and 19th Amendments to the Constitution would make her “safer”, would she sing his praises loudly and then gleefully give up them up?

No way in hell. Only other people must give up their rights. Not her.

@Spartan24 and @JustMe: The financial incentive is why public school administrators fight like wildcats to keep the illegals coming over the border: they get paid a set amount for every warm body in a chair in their classrooms.

So lousy education, crumbling schools, outdated books, overcrowded classrooms, disruption due to students who can’t speak English, miserably low test scores, and graduating students who can’t read or write doesn’t matter. What matters is that the more illegals they can pack into the classrooms, the more they get paid.

And until that changes, the problem will continue.

I recently read about a young boy who was labeled as “autistic” (this generation’s lable of choice) and placed in special education classes. He could read and do math but since he had a diagnosis of “autism” he had to be placed in special education where he had the same worksheet for 2 months. The mom was protesting that he should have been placed in regular kindergarten with a specially trained aide. This is where she was wrong- if she could get him to read, do math and other academic skills at home she should have kept him there and forget about public school. Your kids do NOT belong to the government and it is not the governments job to educate them.

My experience with the public schools at 5-years-old have only simmered my hatred for them. The older I get, the more realizations of their nefariousness and duty to harm children.

This “teacher” I had used to chain smoke in front of the class and when she would try to quit smoking, sucked on lipstick cases like they were cigarettes- this is the person who tried to sentence at least three normal five-year-old boys to special ed within a five year period.

These are the ones I knew of personally. Having gotten to retire with a teachers pension, she had 20+ years of little boys to ruin, lord knows how many she did ruin. Those whose parents were not as concerned as mine and the two others I knew and perhaps trusted her “professional” opinion.

For years I thought the reason I and a neighbor were singled out was because we were Catholic, but when I learned of the brother of a Jewish girl I knew in college put through the same treatment, I thought it was only because she had a hatred of boys. The financial motive… was something I had never even thought of. It infuriates me beyond belief.

I always said that public schools were akin to child abuse. Apparently it is and always was child abuse for profit.

  21. Spartan24 says:

Justme- wow, I have no words for that! I had a kindergarten teacher label me as “hyperactive” (my generation’s diagnosis du jour) and my trusting parents got me on Ritalin almost immediately. They seemed a little confused when I told them they could have told her no. I was a little older due to a late birthday and could have been placed in the next higher grade since I was ahead. Good for your folks for keeping you from what is usually an academics killer.

  22. justme says:

    Spartan..

The parochial schools were pretty bad. I even went to a Catholic High School where the math and gym teacher spent more time hitting on 15 and 16-year-old girls – even got one pregnant after years seducing her – the school sent out a birth notice in their alumni association news letter. Corrupting a girl since she was 15 and years later the administration saw nothing wrong with reporting the birth of their son? It was widely known that they had a “close” relationship when she was a student.

A horrible place where I only learned of the tremendous disadvantage it put me in when I entered college and was getting a C Average despite knowing the material but having to relearn taking exams and writing essays. I get comments from time to time on a video clip I had taken when I snuck a video camera into the school in 1991 and 1992 and recently posted it on youtube. The “students” now are completely illiterate and make comments like “so meny white people”. Apparently the racial demographics have changed and the remaining caucasian families have learned what the school is… making sure their children go nowhere near it.

It took me another 15 years to realize the intellectual brain washing I was subjected to in college where I was taught by unapologetic Communists. Not proverbial Communists but actual card carrying Communists with Union organizing ties and a prominent actor in the Greensboro Massacre- despite actually liking one particular professor I feel sort of violated in that she was a Communist… and did her best to steer our opinions. Others were far more insistent. How many times did I have to listen to “this is what 12 years of Reagan Bush did to America”?

Home schooling really would have been far better.

With modern computers and the availability of nearly all of human knowledge at your finger tips, why on earth should there even be “schools” now?
