Government School Confiscates Second-Grader’s Bible

We know what the liberals running publics schools want kids to read: Two Boys Kissing. A story from Cypress, Texas indicates what they don’t want children reading:

The family of a 2nd grade student at Hamilton Elementary says their daughter’s book of choice – the Bible – was an issue of concern for her teacher, and that two weeks ago, during a “read to myself” time, the girl’s teacher took her Bible away.

The family did not go to the school’s principal, instead, reaching out to the Liberty Institute, to convey its concerns to [Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District].

The family wants to remain anonymous, fearing retaliation.

That’s the kind of country we live in now.

Why hasn’t the teacher been arrested for violation of that girl’s civil rights under color of authority?

Sorry, this is the family’s fault. “Fearing retaliation”? I’d have been on that teacher like a bad case of shingles. That TEACHER would have understood “fear” and “retaliation”. The name of that “teacher” and every dirty little trick that he/she has pulled (as it relates to how they treat their students) would be front page news…starting with confiscating Bibles and violation of the first amendment.

As long as we hide, cower, whimper and fear these progressive, atheist thugs, they will continue to own the day.

The BIBLE is the progressive ‘ s kryptonite!
So, not believing in God is to be promoted over as to believing in God.

    That’s what is happening.

And if that is so, then the school is in violation of the 1st amendment.
Atheism is a belief system just like any other “religion”, that being said, the government shall not endorse one religion over any other.

By endorsing Atheism, they have by de – facto violated the Constitution of the United States.

    RACIST!

Seriously, you nailed it. The left is winning, too. Being a believer, I have to assume it’s what God wants. For whatever reason…at the moment, anyhow…it sure looks like He’s turned His face away from us, and is giving free reign for our enemies to rule the day. We can’t catch a break, be it a Cliven Bundy or John Boehner or whatever.

Things look pretty dark for America right now.

How can I sue you? Let me count the torts…

Assault, Battery, Trespass to Chattels, Conversion, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress…

Not the school district – the teacher alone. Win or lose, the legal fees will bankrupt corrupt teachers who abuse their authority and our children.

The good news is that the evil teacher, who took the Bible away from the little girl, will likely not be with us “Moonbatterers” in eternity. Thank God!

    Here is why:

“13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’ 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”

    Mark 10:13-16
    New International Version (NIV)

I teach in this school district. It’s in the northwest part of Houston. This really surprised me because it’s a mostly conservative, relatively affluent area. I can’t imagine a teacher doing that…. but I guess some bleeding heart liberals sneak in. There’s a boy at my high school who wears a jacket advertising a shooting range on the back of it…. with an image of, gasp, guns! No one has ever asked him to remove it.

I’d break each and every one of the fingers of the teacher who did this to a second grader to send a stern message. The First Amendment guarantees the freedom to practice your religion.
