Greenpeace Cofounder: There Is No Evidence of Anthropogenic Global Warming

Not even this will be enough to convince gullible true believers that anthropogenic global warming is a hoax:

A co-founder of Greenpeace told lawmakers there is no evidence man is contributing to climate change, and said he left the group when it became more interested in politics than the environment.

Patrick Moore, a Canadian ecologist and business consultant who was a member of Greenpeace from 1971-86, told members of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee environmental groups like the one he helped establish use faulty computer models and scare tactics in promoting claims man-made gases are heating up the planet.

“There is no scientific proof that human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) are the dominant cause of the minor warming of the Earth’s atmosphere over the past 100 years,” he said.

Even if the planet is warming up, Moore claimed it would not be calamitous for men, which he described as a “subtropical species.”

True enough. Except in the summer, how often would it be warm enough to feel comfortable outside if you didn’t have any clothes on?

Even the UN — an authoritarian institution that has been a main driver of the global warming hoax — admits that it hasn’t gotten any warmer in the past 15 years, in radical contradiction to the pseudoscientific models employed by warmists to prove that only international socialism could prevent us from all floating around on melted polar ice by now. UN propagandists have been overexerting their imaginations to explain the discrepancy.

Here’s why Moore left Greenpeace:

“After 15 years in the top committee I had to leave as Greenpeace took a sharp turn to the political left, and began to adopt policies that I could not accept from my scientific perspective,” he said.

Scientists in relevant fields at universities all over the West could and should be making similar statements. But they like their salaries, not to mention government grants.

With global warming, not only are we not talking about scientific facts anymore, we aren’t even talking about opinions. We are talking about faith. You will have better luck convincing a Muslim that the Koran is not the word of Allah than you will of getting the average liberal to admit to himself that global warming is a hoax. Apostates like Patrick Moore can be expected to be shunned by their colleagues, as well as audited by the IRS.

Al Gore End Is Near
It’s not science; it’s a cult.

Remember, he left in 1986 – that was 28 years ago. Greenpeace has been off the rails for 28 years making everything they have done since then suspect and the results in doubt. What other looney tunes crap have they backed and what other damage have they done in nearly three decades of liberal insanity?

You can always tell a climate researcher’s retirement date by the decade his prediction are supposed to occur.

If you want to see how depraved the left is on this, look at this LTE:

Not only does the fascist witch want opposing viewpoints suppressed, she claims that AGW is caused by humans burning CO2.

  5. The Machine says:

Um, the headline – it’s “anthropomorphic” not anthropogenic.

  6. Jester says:

and said he left the group…

Why? Because he’s obviously a dirty RACIST, pure and simple. What else could it possibly be?

  7. jc14 says:

Machine: No, “anthropogenic” is correct, meaning “man-caused,” or in the case of the Climate Change hoaxers/true believers, “man-made” global warming.
“Anthropomorphic” means attributing human characteristics to non-human (i.e., pets and other animals) entities, even to inanimate objects, like rocks, I suppose!
Yeah, to these idiots, Globullshit Warming is a f’in RELIGION, not just a mere cult. I consider Islam a cult, as it’s certainly not a genuine “religion,” based on the spew of a 7th Century pedophile barbarian. “Moonbat Death Cult” about covers it . . .
