Gwen Walz’s Teacher Voice

Previously, Gwen Walz was best known for enjoying the smell of burning tires as her anarchotyrant husband Tim allowed mobs of scumbags to burn Minneapolis. Now she reinforces a new standard for liberal hypocrisy while scolding J.D. Vance:

‘So let me use my teacher voice,’ she said. ‘Mr. Vance, how about you mind your own business?’

The Democratic Party stands for micromanagement of our lives and opinions by bloated Big Government. Those who put up resistance are told to mind their own business.

Gerry Baker focuses on her “teacher voice”:

It unintentionally captured the Democratic idea of the polity they seek to lead and reshape. It spoke to how they view themselves—and us. They are the teachers, equipped with the knowledge and authority to direct their hapless charges. We are the students, naive and ill-informed, sometimes attentive but too often insubordinate, with minds that need to be shaped and disciplined.

This self-image of Democrats and their role in government as benevolent, omniscient educators emerges from a mindset that represents a greater challenge to our freedoms than any attempts at interference in the lives of law-abiding Americans the Republicans are accused of planning.

It is liberals’ condescending superciliousness as much as their hypocrisy and moral depravity that makes their brand of tyranny so intolerable.

On a tip from Varla.
