Hate Hoax at University of Wisconsin-Parkside

What better way to celebrate Black History Month than with yet another hoax intended to create an illusion that blacks are put upon by racists?

Following days of reported hate crimes and heightened security at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, a student has confessed to creating the list threatening black students because she wanted greater attention to the issue, according to authorities Friday night.

The suspect, whose identity was being withheld for her protection, reportedly told authorities she created the fliers — which listed 13 black students by name and threatened they were going to die in two days — found Thursday because she was not satisfied with the initial response from a resident assistant to rubber bands that were said to look like a noose, according to a press release from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Friday.”

In an escalation of events since Wednesday, which kicked off Black History Month on campus, a series of what was initially believed to be racially motivated threats at Parkside, 900 Wood Road, had sparked an atmosphere of fear among students and launched a criminal investigation on the campus.

“There is absolutely no danger to the students at Parkside due to this threat,” the release said. “Through investigation KSD’s detectives were able to determine that there never was a threat of harm to students at Parkside.”

It began with a string of rubber bands, that some believed looked like a noose, found Wednesday hanging in a common area of Pike River Suites, one of the residence halls. On Thursday morning the resident student who reported it, Aubriana Banks, reportedly received a second noose, made with plastic string, and a threatening note telling her to run on her door. Then on Thursday night, the situation further escalated when students found a bunch of fliers at Pike River that read: “(Racial slur) will die in 2 days. No (racial slur) wanted,” with 13 names listed below.

Evidence led detectives to suspect one of the 13 named on that list, the release said, and when confronted, the suspect reportedly confessed to creating it because she was not satisfied with the initial response from a resident assistant to the rubber bands formed into a noose.

The list of hate hoaxes is so long (e.g., Sarah Marshak, Tawana Brawley, Crystal Gail Mangum, Kerri Dunn, Leah Miller, Trinity International University) that it is safe to assume any racial threats directed at nonwhites are fabrications until proven otherwise. If there were real threats, why would moonbats have to create fake ones to prop up their bogus ideology?

The allegedly racist noose.

  1. Mickey Shea says:

There was a black woman professor at Columbia who was
busted for plagiarizing from her students. She got caught
hanging a noose in her office as a means of trying to
cry racism to deflect attention. She got canned, which is pretty unbelievable for a PC hellhole like Columbia U.

  2. rubberbandman says:

A bunch of rubber bands linked together is a noose, huh?
I’d have never known that if someone didn’t tell me.

  3. soulpile says:

It just looks like a twisted mess. Which also describes the offending rubber band.

“Ooh, it has a loop on it! What a scary noose!” Seriously, people? This is what they come up with to get attention?

  4. AC says:

Coming soon, neckties will be denounced as racist.

That won’t be a problem for the filthy Occucommies, as most of them have never worn one, except maybe to court on the advice of their lawyer.

  5. StanInTexas says:

    Someone help me out here…

We hear that racism is rampant in this country and is a HUGE problem.

Yet the very same people claiming this can never seem to point to an ACTUAL and obvious case of racism, but must CREATE these incidents to make their point.

  6. Dupree says:

A rubber band would serve as the most hysterical noose ever. Say… shouldn’t his feet be off the ground? It’s such nonsense!

  7. SNuss says:

There IS a racism problem in this country, and the Liberals are the cause.
EVERYTHING is race-based, and/or the fault of conservatives, in the delusional Left’s mindset.

The same Liberal “logic” is present in any issue. Use “global warming as an example: If it is hot, global warming caused it. If it is too cold, global warming caused it. No precipitation? Global warming caused it.
Too much precipitation? global warming is to blame, as are those conservatives who want to pollute our water and air. See the pattern?

  8. Hail The Amberlamps! says:

And what leads young blacks to believe that shouting RACISM! and blaming whitey will get them what they want?

  9. J says:

This serves as an excellent example of the kind of graduates our learning institutions are churning out.

Even after the police announce it was a hoax, even after the perp admitted to the hoaxing, many students still cling to the event as though it was real:

Threats may have been fake, but UW-Parkside students say issue real

So the question then becomes, if the issue is real, then why did an example have to be manufactured?

  10. mojo says:

They eventually going to expel one of these morons?

  11. ent says:

Presumably there is a law against making death threats of this sort. And this woman will be charged with this crime, just the same as if the threat had been made by a racist (aka. a white person), right? Right???

Furthermore, wouldn’t this qualify as a racially-motivated hate crime?

  12. Rick says:

That rubber band “noose” is simply a poor mans traveling clothesline. We made one just like it for our son when he went to Europe last summer. Stretch it between two chairs and pinch your wet cloths between the bands.

    Here are some instructions.

  13. Festivus says:

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth said charges will be filed after discussing the case with the District Attorney’s Office.

“Too many people were frightened and upset to let this case go without charges being filed,” he said in the release.

The suspect’s name is being withheld in order to “provide the opportunity to remove her from campus,” according to the release.

She still might be a victim!

  14. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

This kind of crap happened at the higher education “institutions” here in the land of ten thousand loons a couple of years ago.
Students were “finding” racist messages on their dorm room doors.

Then there was the infamous burning cross in the front yard
The liberal media literally suffered a collective coronary.
Turns out to be another one of those “fake but accurate” deals.

  15. Right Reason says:

If the student behind the hoax is a non-Euro-centric-Caucasion, melanin-plus, deprived-and-victimized person …

then you guys are a bunch of racists.
