Hollywood Plans Pro-Communist Version of Anti-Communist Animal Farm

George Orwell might have seen this coming.

In his most famous work 1984, Orwell describes a totalitarian society in which history is constantly rewritten to meet the momentary political needs of the ruling party, on the theory that those who control the present control the past, and those who control the past control the future. Another well-known work warning of the perils of oligarchical collectivism is Animal Farm, in which a socialist revolution leaves everyone but those who end up in power worse off than before. Applying the principles of the former book to the latter, we have the next obscenity to be excreted by Hollywood:

Actor Andy Serkis is set to direct an upcoming movie adaptation of George Orwell’s classic novel Animal Farm. But there will be a slight deviation from the story’s original focus: rather than serve as a cautionary tale about Communist totalitarianism, this updated version will address Hollywood’s predictable, go-to embodiment of evil, the Darth Vader of our time: corporate greed.

That is, the anti-communist story will be twisted around to advance the ideological objectives of communists.

What would expect from the leftist oligarchs of Tinseltown?

Gibbers Serkis,

“First and foremost, we are not making a film about Communism and Stalinism because if Orwell was writing the story today, he would be talking about other relevant topics like globalization and corporate greed.”

Yeah right. A more likely possibility is that Orwell

might be taking up his pen against the abuses of government surveillance, the left’s alliance with the creeping totalitarianism of Islamic theocracy, and the oppression inherent in the left’s shrewd manipulation of political language, such as its relentless push for submission to speech codes and its intolerance of politically incorrect expression.

Typically of left-wing propaganda, the movie will be targeted toward an audience too innocent to laugh it off.

“We’re making a family film,” said Serkis. Of course, because progressives are nothing if not proselytizers for their political religion, and they know how critical it is to preach their gospel to the youth. Hence all the family-friendly, anti-corporate, animated environmentalist propaganda films in recent years like Wall-E, Happy Feet, and The Lorax. Serkis’ Animal Farm seems destined to be burdened by a similar sort of heavy-handed agitprop.

From here, the commies running Hollywood can press ahead with a version of Atlas Shrugs that extols socialism and attacks “corporate greed” and the long-overdue film version of The Gulag Archipelago praising the just and humane ways of the Soviet government. Then they might broaden their perspective with a biblical epic promoting homosexuality.

Repurposed by the people he warned us about.

On a tip from Wilberforce.

I can’t wait for the Harvey Weinstein version of The Bible – Jesus surely will be performing felatio on the apostles in this revision that more “accurately” reflect the homosexual elite’s claims.

I read every one of Orwell’s works. Orwell was liberal and was rebelling against what he saw as Imperialist Britain, he underwent an ideological transformation. Between his first book: Down and Out in London and Paris, he followed the poor, lived with them, worked as them where he contracted the Tuberculosis that ultimately killed him. He was born into a comfortable life and felt some guilt – like our Liberals. His life as in he British bureaucracy serving in Burma, opened his eyes to human nature of corruption.

By the time he joined the Spanish Civil War fighting what he thought was a noble war against Franco, where in the end he and his fellow fighters were turned into scapegoats, he had transformed. He and his fellow fighters were deemed the equivalent of terrorists and were forced to run for their lives. The nature and temporality of how people and history were written and constantly rewritten to serve the needs of new power structures were key in his next writings.

Orwell wrote heavily about this experience and it formed the basis for both Animal Farm and 1984.

Though Orwell was a liberal, his intelligence and experiences were to turn him into an alarm sounder for what he deduced would ultimately come from an increasingly invasive and Totalitarian society.

In the end, Orwell proved far more prophetic and it is the ultimate testimony to this by now having his seminal work “re-interpreted.”

I only wonder what he would have written of 2054.

    “Corporate greed.”

The Left knows they look like total idiots if they demonize capitalism by name anymore, so now they substitute the word “corporate” for the old left-wing bogeyman, Capitalism. And really, Marx coined the word “capitalism” and his crack-pot ideas about what free-trade in free society is was just a crude cartoonish communist tool to demonize the very workings civilization itself.

The freaking government itself is an incorporated entity possessing all of the character traits the Left decries, such as a legal personhood. But the government is an incorporated entity that they want to use to force everyone else to conform to their ideas of what’s good and basically make the entire country their company town.

Ironic, rich Hollywood jews producing commie propaganda and getting even richer.

  4. Beef says:

When the Leftists who control the Narrative are using iconic anti-communist works to promote communist ideology, you know things are near the end. They are so confident in their ability to control reality that they feel no lie is too big to stuff down our throats. This is just a mopping-up mission at the end of the Culture War.

For those who don’t know, Andy Serkis’ most famous role is that of Gollum from the The Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies. Quite appropriate he was cast as such; a corrupted character who craves power and domination over all others via possession of “The One Ring.” In real life, he appears to be not much different than his alter-ego, living a privileged upper crust British lifestyle and then deigning to make the massess subsist as he sees fit. Quite the elitist, he has made me decide to forego purchasing the Hobbit movies. I will find other means to acquire them and not put money in his pocket…..

  6. IOpian says:

A Hollywood movie maker disparaging corporate greed. How Orwellian.

I think Alec Baldwin would make a good pig.

On a closely related subject, and, moreover, as prescient as it gets:

“Brave New World and Enemies of Freedom discussed and described in the current society and the changing face of democracy, the implications of Advertising and the Media. Also a parallel with George Orwell 1984.

Words spoken more than 50 years ago and still sound so much like today’s society”

Aldous Huxley interview. Brave New World. The changing face of democracy. Advertising and the Media

  9. Spurwing Plover says:

Just another leftists propeganda crap movie like REDS and AVATAR more and more reasons i hope is bombs big time just like PROMISED LAND did

  10. Son of Taz says:

Serkis needs to watch and listen to this lecture by Bono, hardly someone I’d consider to be a mainline capitalist.

Years ago, someone like Serkis would have been institutionalized. Now he qualifies as a “liberal lion.”

  11. Bob Roberts says:

Now wait… let me get this straight. The ‘1%’ greedy Hollywood corporate suits are going to do a movie about Orwell complaining about greedy corporate suits?

Do they even know what fools they’re making of themselves in the process?

  12. Katya Kakhov says:

Of course they do , wait till you get a load of the newest mesopotamian dr doolittle , Noah , as he struggles in a world left barren and desolate by neolithic anthropogenic global warming .

  13. MarkJ says:

The above story makes me doubly enjoy that scene in the “King Kong” remake in which Andy Serkis gets eaten alive by a man-eating plant.

  14. Jan Snyder says:

Orwell was talking about communism, period. And communism is from THE JEWS, period. Code words for Those Who Must Not Be Named include; The Left, globalists, liberals, The NY Times, marxists, communists, Bolsheviks, the Elites, etc.
ALL of liberal thought comes from anti-white Jewish intellectuals. All Jewish intellectual effort amounts to nothing more than anti-white/anti-Christian propaganda.

  15. Veritas says:

Hollywood telling the people about greed? No wonder it is dying. I haven’t been to the movies in ten years and haven’t missed anything.

  16. Beforethestorm says:

I don’t know that they would ever do Animal Farm straight. The book is so prescient, it makes my hair stand on end to read it. It lays bare a number of the tricks that the elites love to use now.
