HuffPost: Thanksgiving Is Offensive to Climate

Don’t bother making Thanksgiving plans this year. The woke social engineers at HuffPost have determined that the holiday is offensive to the climate:

A recent report from National Geographic and the Climate Action Tracker found that we are far from reaching our 2020 goal of lower emissions. …

With that in mind, one wonders: How much damage are we doing with our epic Thanksgiving meal every year?

The answer is literally none. But that’s no reason for moonbats to forego badgering.

HuffPost says that to be righteous, we must stay home and eat plants.

Meat and meat byproducts (cheese, butter and heavy cream, for example) have a larger environmental footprint than plant-based ingredients. According to research done by Carnegie Mellon University, the carbon footprint of a 16-pound turkey creates a total of 34.2 pounds of CO2 — the same amount produced by turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, rolled biscuits and apple pie combined.

Not all plants are equally enviropious. HuffPost says we should eat pumpkin, because this will result in less of the harmless CO2 that makes it be too warm according to liberal dogma.

Imagine how bonkers you would have to be to believe that it is morally righteous to eat pumpkin so as to make the November weather cooler, and you will understand the futility of trying to reason with moonbats.

On a tip from Byron.
