Ineptocracy

Hopey Change is providing jobs in the publishing industry by providing a new term that should now be included in all dictionaries:

Ineptocracy
(in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) — a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

The term kakistocracy applies equally well to our current form of government.

Compliments of Gary A.

Have we reached the point where we have to ask ourselves if having the power of the vote is too much for many to handle intellectually?

  4. SNuss says:

Kleptocracy might also apply: Government by thieves.

Most definitely. There is no Constitutionally-guaranteed right to vote.

And while it is way too much to expect the kakistocracy to act to restrict the vote to at least taxpayers, that is the only possible move that can preserve a Constitutional republic.

…I see your point. Precisely why we are a Republic
    instead of a ‘mobocracy’.
House represents the masses in the cities and
Senate represents landowners….at least that was how it was supposed to be.
