The most important date in human history according to the moonbat religion is January 6, 2021, when an unruly mob prominently featuring a guy in a buffalo costume trespassed in the People’s House, thereby constituting a Threat to Our Democracy. The special significance of the date has been made official on the federal calendar:

The federal government has designated Congress’ certification of electoral votes in the upcoming 2024 presidential election to be a “National Special Security Event,” the Secret Service announced Wednesday.

The special designation was approved by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and means law enforcement agencies will dramatically beef up security for the Jan. 6, 2025, tally – in an effort to prevent another riot at the Capitol Building.

The scary show of force will be quite the contrast from 1/6/2021, when Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser denied sufficient security, whereas Trump had offered to provide National Guard troops.

The actual point is to milk a relatively minor protest against election fraud for still more liberal hysteria in an attempt to motivate the Democrat base. This is why 1/6 is only a Special Day following an election.

Despite the date’s significance, January 6 will remain among the ever fewer days federal bureaucrats are expected to show up for work. They get a day off to celebrate black race rioters on Juneteenth instead. Thanks, John Cornyn!
