Jen Psaki Defends Biden’s Neanderthal Insult

Being White House Press Secretary with Biden in office means having to defend the indefensible. This includes even Biden’s denunciation of Texans and Mississippians as “Neanderthals” for allowing businesses to open and for letting people decide for themselves whether they want to wear ChiCom virus masks:

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday that the state’s businesses can return to full operation next Wednesday and Texans won’t be required to wear masks in public, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Republican Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves tweeted that Mississippi’s businesses can also start fully operating on Wednesday and that the state is “lifting all our county mask mandates.”

Typically of Democrats, Biden mischaracterized the absence of prohibition as an endorsement.

“The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything’s fine, take off your mask, forget it. It still matters,” Biden said Wednesday.

If masks are not imposed by the state, that must mean the state wants people not to wear masks. From the Democrat viewpoint, that which is not mandatory should be forbidden.

As always, Psaki implied the previous administration is to blame. She explained that Biden’s insult was “a reflection of his frustration and exasperation,” which was caused by people not having had “access to a greater understanding of what the public health guidelines should look like and those include many many people in Mississippi and Texas in Ohio, Florida in every state across the country.”

What the public health guidelines should look like would be liberal utopia: everyone atomized, incarcerated, reliant on Big Government for their continued existence, their individual identity obliterated by masks, their independent businesses crushed beneath senseless regulation.
