Libs Still Hate Chick-fil-A

The moonbat war on Chick-fil-A continues. From Florida:

The Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County are crying foul over Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark’s decision to hold voter registration drives at nine Chick-fil-A locations. Chick-fil-A, the fast-food chain known for putting faith ahead of profits, supports conservative causes.

If Chick-fil-A really does put faith ahead of profits, this strategy seems to be paying off. Business Insider reports that it “generates more revenue per restaurant than any other fast food chain in the US.”

The actual problem liberals have with Chick-fil-A is that President Dan Cathy admitted that like virtually everyone until only a few years ago, he is not in favor of homosexual “marriage.” The ownership is known to be Christian, to the horror of progressives.

Susan McGrath, leader of the Stonewall Democrats and head of the Pinellas Democratic Party, said the decision to use Chick-fil-A would be similar to a Democratic supervisor of elections holding the event at Planned Parenthood.

Regrettably, the source did not include a link to this story:

Planned Parenthood will begin a nonpartisan campaign to register voters at its clinics, on college campuses and online to help marginalized populations participate more in this election cycle, the women’s health provider announced to the Huffington Post

The word “marginalized” in this context means “overwhelmingly likely to vote Democrat.”

On tips from Lyle.

Hmm. Think I’ll stop by my nearest Chik-Fil-A after work today to add a bit more to their profit margin. 🙂

  2. rambler says:

What don’t libs hate? I submit that they hate themselves as well.

  3. NotKennedy says:

“…similar to a Democratic supervisor of elections holding the event at Planned Parenthood.”

It’s curious that a moonbat Democrat would equate Planned Parenthood with a for profit organization. More curiously, that, in the mind of a Democrat, fast food is also equivalent of services rendered in their abortion mill.

OTOH, Chick-Fil-A has a limited variety of parts for sale, whereas, you can get just about any part you might want, at the Planned Parenthood Restaurant.

They don’t hate Power, fascism, Islam(ok, that one is redundant), their own bank accounts or Marxism. There are more but those are the top five.

If by “hate themselves” you mean they do a lot of this to salve over their conscience, possibly. but I think they do it more for power than anything. Mostly because evil has no conscience and Progressives are evil.

  5. Jack Bauer says:

You can rest assured if a voter drive were to be conducted by some for profit business run by lefty moonbats, like Starbucks or Ben & Jerry’s, that they’d have absolutely no problem with it.
Their “outrage” can be summed up by:
“How dare the conservatives co-opt one of our underhanded tactics and use it for themselves!”

“How dare the conservatives co-opt one of our underhanded tactics and use it for themselves!”

Whoa, Nelly, JB. Legally registering eligible voters isn’t underhanded.

  7. JackisBack says:

Lib men hate chicken but love hot beef injections

  8. FrozenPatriot says:

    Oh man…love me some chick-fil-a…

  9. Nan says:

    Legally. Therein lies the difference.

  10. Nan says:

They’re not open on Sunday. Try tomorrow.

  11. J.j. Cintia says:

Maybe they’re just upset that these people are still alive? Democrats hate voters with a pulse.

  12. Pyrran says:

    Stonewall Democrats?
That wouldn’t be referring to Confederate, slave-owning general Stonewall Jackson, now would it? How incredibly racist. /s

  13. AlexMcQuade says:

This article made up my mind for where I’ll be going today for another great lunch !!

  14. rex freeway says:

Great, they wont be complaining about about a non existing problem with their meal and holding me up.

  15. Sean says:

What this pinhead McGrath seems to forget is that over the summer Deb Clark also held a voter registration drive at the summer pride festival in St Pete. So, I guess she must have missed that.

  16. SouthernReality says:

So which will they be registering at a Planned Parenthood facility? They actually will have a choice……

  17. 762x51 says:

Maybe a peace offering is in order here. I’d like 100 sandwiches, 25 of each of # 1- 4 on the menu so I can deliver them to the local DNC HQ.

The quandary would probably burn out their hypocrite circuits. On the one hand they hate Chick-fil-a, on the other hand Progressives never turn down free stuff. The resulting loop would require a complete shutdown and reboot of their system.

  18. Dr Why says:

I like that mean evil people don’t like Chick-Fil-A. That means that when I go there there aren’t any mean evil people there.

This is not a joke by the way. The customer community there is terribly nice and noticeably good-looking, too. Except for me of course.

  19. Dr Why says:

Oh, I think I will, thank you.

  20. babyangel says:

yumm that chicken sandwich sure does look tasteys i didnt have much food at dinner 🙁 i had some potato chips awhile ago since i was so hungrys 🙁

  21. Eddie_Valiant says:

Make sure you tell them it’s tofu, not chicken, or the PETA sympathizers will call you out!

  22. Take The Red Pill says:

Their food is great (the soup is fantastic)! And I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a dirty, run-down restaurant of theirs, either. (Unlike a lot of other chains that have to show how PC they are.)
And since they won’t kowtow to the looney Leftist haters, they’ll ALWAYS have me as a customer of theirs.

  23. Take The Red Pill says:

Was it ‘Stonewall Democrats’, or ‘stoned Democrats’?

  24. Take The Red Pill says:

They also hate voters with a brain who decide to use it — instead of mindlessly following Democrat Party PC propaganda and Leftist tripe.

  25. Take The Red Pill says:

    Also ‘eligible’…

  26. Mark says:

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I immediately went in search of a safe space upon hearing the word Stonewall.

  27. 762x51 says:

    Oh dare to dream . . .
