Global warming doctrine must terrify those who believe in it, but the ideologically compliant can take solace in one mitigating factor; though utter doom is impending, it never gets any closer. Sometimes it even gets farther away:

They say the outlook for our imperiled planet is “grim.”

Should it melt, the icy mass contains so much water that it could single-handedly raise global sea levels by over two feet — hence its foreboding moniker.

Fortunately, as with the apocalyptic horrors Al Gore promised would happen by now, doom has been mysteriously delayed.

The fear was that the glacier could be gone by the end of this century. Now, it’s looking like that won’t happen until the 23rd century.

So what if the high priests of the climate cult were off by a couple hundred years? AccuWeather isn’t even sure about the weather tomorrow.

If warming isn’t mitigated, the melting of the Thwaites could trigger a broader collapse of the entire Antarctic Ice Sheet, which would practically drown the planet by raising sea levels by over ten feet.
