Looking Ahead With Hindsight

2016 is officially lost, even if the bloodbath in November hasn’t happened yet. Time to look forward beyond it:

I have to agree with ‘Torcer’, 2020 is way too late, the future is now. This is what Trump should now do, he should make a call to Ted Cruz and setup a meeting, attempt to bury the hatchet and ask him to be his VP running mate. We, they, cannot allow Hillary to get back in the White House. If the GOP does now get together and back Donald Trump they will never elect a president again.

    …I like it!

  8. Occam's Stubble says:

Trump could do more for this country by having Cruz replace Scalia.

  9. Skip says:

I agree with you and thought of that, but Trump has to win the presidency before he can appoint Supreme Court Judges. With Cruz as the VP he brings his backers and many of Ted Cruz’s backers together for the general election which is the only thing that counts now.

Cruz destroyed himself politically. He responded like a child throwing a tantrum. I had no feelings either way for Cruz – until he I saw the way he conducted himself the last few weeks. Between his whackjob father and the now completely disjointed Glenn Beck – acting like crazed religious fanatics, the whole bunch conducted themselves disgracefully.

Trump is a carnival barker, the shit that comes out if his mouth from day to day is his diarrhea from the mouth that he spews like a monologue on a nightly comedic talk show- the way Cruz acted I find much more disturbing.

  11. JayMS says:

The “harassment” ad should ensure he is hated by ALL women instead of just a large majority like he is now. Even if those women don’t vote for Shrillary they will likely stay home.

  12. Torcer says:

Yes, no wonder Nate Silver only gives him a 5% chance..

Sorry but, it would be 2024 when we would choose Cruz again to be POTUS! 😛

  16. Steven Yarnell says:

To add to that, Cruz lost the opportunity to be our POTUS because the Donald, who could’ve very well have ran as a Dem, sidelined the Conservatives by running as a Republican! I don’t forgive Cruz because it was never his fault. It was Trump’s fault!
