Matthew Dowd: Sexual Misconduct Not So Bad When Indulged In by Those Who Work for the “Common Good”

Sexual misconduct is not so terrible when it involves women getting groped or coerced by those who work for the “common good” — a.k.a. moonbats. So says ABC News Chief Political Analyst Matthew Dowd:

Dowd also holds that there is a big difference between those who supposedly “acknowledge mistakes & evolve (Franken)” on one hand and Roy Moore on the other.

Dowd was top strategist for the 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign. He left the GOP a decade ago, and now presents himself as a “country over party” independent, with views running the full gamut from liberal to ultraleft.

This is good news for Al Franken, Harvey Weinstein, Charlie Rose, Oliver Stone, John Conyers, and any other moonbats who have recently been caught up in sexual abuse scandals. They all promote the common good by advancing the progressive agenda. Therefore, they are at least partially absolved. Non-moonbats are still responsible for their behavior though.

“…there is a difference between those who are flawed who work for the
common good and those who are flawed who could care less about the
    common good. Huge difference……”

Yeah…..sure. Whatever you say, Moonbat Matty…..

This is as succinct a demonstration of the modern day liberal elitist mindset as you’re going to find: It’s all good, in their warped minds, so long as they get to the definers of what is the “common good”.

A similar demonstration of their personality disorder is often offered, when liberal elites debate the issue of progressive taxation, and you ask them why they think it is acceptable to tax someone at a higher rate, simply because they are high earners. Their response is usually something like: “Because they make so much, they don’t NEED the extra money that a flat tax would provide them”.

Once again, all is well within the warped mind of these types, so long as THEY get to be the ones to determine exactly what everyone else needs.

  2. Jack Bauer says:

    Ooops…..

“get to the definers” should read
    get to be the definers”….
(Need more coffee this a.m. to proofread better….lol).

  3. bigpete says:

You, Matthew, are what is known as an enabler.

  4. Not surprisingly, Dowd considers killing children to their 1st breath with taxpayer funds to be part of the common good.

He’s right. one is a total phony pretending they are something they are not…….the other is just a honest jerk. By the way…..who gets to decide what is the COMMON good???? Some guy in women’s panties who can’t get over losing the last election??

  7. itsatax says:

People like Matthew “Banging my client’s wife” Dowd & Ben “Right Side of History” Howe are the lowest of low. They try to sell their lack of loyalty & values as virtue. I’m not buying it. Have more respect for more forthright moonbats like Bernie and Kusinich.

  8. J K Brown says:

So that’s a “yea” for Trump since what is more for the common good than Making America Great Again?

  9. Mohammed's pink swastika says:

    And the defilers.

  10. Mr. Freemarket says:

No, no, no…you are all confused. Improving the prosperity and security of Americans isn’t nearly as important as saying you are trying to save the planet, fight for women’s rights, or other popular leftist causes. If a particular statement or position puts Trump or conservatives in a positive light, you have misunderstood the statement.

Trump is basically the opponent of anything that is good or right. Joy has left the US ever since Trump was elected. In fact, the sun at my home is going down before five o’clock so I am light deprived and depressed. I’m pretty sure that is Trump’s fault.

Now back when Trump was donating money to the democrats, he was then working for the common good. But no more…..

I hope that clarifies the situation.

  11. Mr. Freemarket says:

Women have been objectified and used by the left for decades (but that was in pursuit of the common good). Hollywood, for example, is well known for the use of the term “casting couch” because…if you were a woman and wanted to get a part, then…that’s what you did.

But that’s entirely different from….say some conservative capitalist…offering a woman a position in a corporation in exchange for sexual favors…because the wicked capitalist was not attempting to advance the common good.

  12. Here we go says:

Defending Bill Clinton for decades for the common good inspired the abuse of women in the workplace by Democrats who modeled their behavior on Bill.

  13. GhostRider2001 says:

Hitler thought he was working for the “common good” as well. Relativism like this statement by Mathew Dowd deserves nothing but ridicule.

  14. Here we go says:

For the common good Matt Mueller should be fired.

  15. wildmanonearth says:

Atrocities for the “common good” have been part of history for millennia. I wonder what matts take on these is?

A double standard for libtard politicians? Libtards would have no standards at all if they didn’t have double standards.

  18. FromNJ says:

Ever notice that the prominent “Independent” pundits spend most of their time trashing Republicans and Conservatives?

  19. Mr. Freemarket says:

With regards to the term “Independent”….

I don’t think that term means what we think it actually means….

  20. Mr. Freemarket says:

True fascism has never been tried. How are we to know that it won’t work?

  21. JackisBack says:

This is the mindset of wealthy elite; Democrat and Republican.

  22. Frank says:

Let’s hope a miracle occurs and the “justice” department actually delivers justice to Slick Willy and The Bitch Who Never Shuts Up.

  23. Eddie_Valiant says:

In fact, the sun at my home is going down before five o’clock so I am light deprived and depressed. I’m pretty sure that is Trump’s fault.

Damn – that’s started happening here too! Thanks for ‘splainin’ that Mr. F!

  24. Swordie says:

This level of reasoning is utterly villainous.

  25. Silence Dogood says:

What a douchebag this fool is. Too bad he blocked me on twitter or I’d give him what for…

  26. Angel says:

Dowd’s logic is impeccable for a leftist. Since the right is inherently evil, whenever one of them is guilty of a crime, additional punishment should be meted out for their thought crimes. This is pretty much in effect now, where a leftist judge can decide to sentence someone not only for the crime itself, but for having “hate” in their heart as defined by leftist rules.

  27. RKae says:

Of course, they have no idea that free market capitalism raises more people out of misery than any other economic process.

Their idea of “common good” is equal misery through state terror.

So they’re screwed in the head for 2 reasons: 1.) Forgiving perverts just because they are leftist, and 2.) thinking leftism helps the common good.

  28. RKae says:

Most child molesting rings are connected to charities.

Sandusky, Savile, Franklin Scandal… just to name a few.

It makes the pedos feel like virtuous people, while at the same time giving them access to kids.

  29. Area man says:

Yes this shows their warped thinking quite well. The funny part is that they think they are the only ones working for the common good! They are so biased the cannot even conceive ofvthe idea that other points of view are anything but wrong and evil. They can’t see that we are also working for what we consider the “common good”.
But the worse part is where this thinking can lead to.

  30. irandom419 says:

Finally, the admit what we’ve complained about for decades. They should call it the Clinton Pass.

  31. Nick Testa says:

You gotta love this shit…. These degenerate progressives have made rape and sexual harassment and assault a core issue of their philosophy for years but now that it’s been exposed that progressives are the #1 perpetrators of sexual harassment or rape it’s now “not all that bad”….

If they were honest (lol) they would say exactly this: “I know most of us are degenerates, but we need to stick together as a party, because we all know the real evil lays in the republican party”. Or maybe they can get really honest and say: “It’s ok to sexually assault or harass woman if you’re a progressive because we know deep down inside you have good intentions, you know the real enemy are white people and especially white republicans and capitalism”.

The best part is they say exactly that but they don’t use those words, they write articles that conclude that if you can follow their reasoning or logic but they don’t come out and say that…

What are they going to imply next? that sexual assault is a form of endearment if the perpetrator is a progressive that moonlights as a “feminist”?

Oh and you better believe white progressives think about as much of minorities as they do woman – but you know that is OK because progressives give minorities welfare and champion affirmative action… You know because that proves they respect minorities as individuals, well not all minorities – just those minorities that vote democrat…

Geez you cant make up this level of hypocrisy, it’s not like this sexual harassment or sexual assault hypocrisy is a segregated incident – no – it’s appears to be an epidemic among men in their cult…… One would think that rapists only moonlight as progressives because they’re rapists and for no other reason. So they can say “I cant be a rapist, I’m a feminist – I donated 10 bucks to planned parenthood – I even wrote if off on my tax statement”… lol

  32. Mr. Freemarket says:

Perhaps some virgin sacrifices will be needed for the sun to return earlier. Might be difficult to accomplish in some of the more progressive areas of the country.
