Media, Police Spin Riot at Brooklyn’s Kings Plaza Mall

Forgive the political incorrectness, but locally, the Kings Plaza Mall in Brooklyn is known as “Kong’s Plaza” and “Plaza of the Apes.” But if people were to believe news reports, they would call it the Mall of Rambunctious Children. Trayvon Martin — famously represented throughout the media with cherubic pictures taken many years before he degenerated into the frightening hoodlum who got himself killed during an attempted murder — is not the only person of privileged pigmentation to have his age strategically reduced by liberal information gatekeepers. Have a good laugh as police and media authorities try to spin a massive riot at Kings Plaza into little kids indulging in horseplay. From the NY Daily Snooze:

A mob of about 300 kids starting fighting, yelling and running wild in the Mill Basin shopping center Friday, cops said, prompting an increased police presence.

“Kids” huh? Since when does an episode of Romper Room require “an increased police presence”?

In case the absurd euphemisms don’t jump out on their own, let’s put them in boldface:

The NYPD assigned extra officers to patrol a Brooklyn mall on Friday — a day after it was crashed by a teen stampede.

Cops swarmed the Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin to prevent any hint of a repeat of a flash mob of more than 300 kids who started fighting, yelling and running wild. …

The pandemonium on Thursday was sparked by a Facebook post in which young people were urged to put Kings Plaza “on tilt,” police sources said.

Video posted online of the madness shows several girls getting into fights before police officers intervene, and other kids dashing throughout the mall.

Abu Taleb watched in horror as the teens poached items from other vendors. He said he couldn’t escape the throngs of pint-sized pickpockets as they raided his jars of sweets — and tried to get their paws on his cash.

Never mind. Nothing to see here, folks:

Despite online evidence of the mall melee, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said no one filed a complaint about being assaulted or robbed.

Deputy Chief Kim Royster said cops were called about 9 p.m. Thursday to disperse the crowd of rascals, who caused more of a ruckus than a crime.

“They weren’t stealing anything,” said the NYPD spokeswoman. “They weren’t assaulting anyone. They were going through the mall, making loud noises. Some were fighting with each other.”

Baghdad Bob’s influence on information dissemination has been pervasive.

Now here’s a real news item. A white person has been spotted in front of the Kings Plaza Mall, and she isn’t wearing a police uniform. It’s Tracee Carrasco of CBS 2 News:

A lot of HOODIES in evidence. Like blue jeans in the sixties, it’s the new “uniform of the revolution”.

I’ve seen (first hand) several disturbances, a few fights getting out of hand, two near riots and an actual riot; this was a “near riot”.

I’ve lived close by for a long time, even before the Plaza was built. In recent years, and because the city changed some bus routes which now bring blacks in from neighboring communities, things have obviously changed. Blacks now see Kings Plaza as nothing more than a place to steal without fear, and a place to find White (prey), even though there are not many Whites left in Brooklyn.

The “security” at the Mall usually consists of blacks who “had to be hired” to appease the city’s race hustlers, and “without any background checks”. If you pay close attention, it would appear the only “training” they’ve received is to make sure and not pick on their own people.

I’s a great place to stay far away from, if you’re White.

All that chaos (and there were several assaults of shoppers) and “not one arrest”. What that says is that NYC’s new Marxist mayor is already having a strong influence on the NYPD, which must obey his policies. He is as pro-black as anyone can be.

Nah. A Ma Deuce would cause too much property damage. 5.56 frangible and No 2 birdshot, liberally applied. Snuff a few dozen and the rest will quiet right down.

A.Levy, why would you venture into that heart of darkness? There are so many beautiful places to shop free of the urban zoo mystique.

I hadn’t seen the CBS news video report, but Lord, what wonderful proper diction the NY City schools teach Axin’ and “Basic Allie” n’ sheet…

Those angelic cherubs became overly excited praising Jesus and their love of Jesus just overwhelmed them.

Those damned Norwegians always ruining good neighborhoods.

Yep, “Children,” and “ rascals” since we all know what “Teens” is code for.

Muggings and robberies were epidemic as far back as the 1980’s when most of Brooklyn’s somewhat civilized began going to the Staten Island Mall, Roosevelt Field or even Short Hills to get away from this savagery. Isn’t “FIGHTING” an ASSAULT? NYPD DOUBLE SPEAK.

Some were fighting with each other.” FUNNY HOW THE ACCOUNTS OF THE STORE OWNERS TALK ABOUT ROBBERIES< BEATINGS AND ASSAULTS, BUT THE NYPD SAYS NOTHING HAPPENED. AND WE ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL THE POLICE FOR WHAT EXACTLY? TO TELL US NOTHING HAPPENED?

Brooklyn group of black youths blocks white couple’s car, bloody victims in racial attack: cops
Authorities say Ronald and Alana Russo were pummeled by attackers — ranging in age from 12 to 18 — who showered them with racial slurs. One Brooklyn teen says he was falsely arrested because he was wearing the same outfit as one of the assailants.

The intersection at Avenue U and E. 58th St. near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Brooklyn became the scene of a brutal attack by a group of black youths against a white couple driving through, authorities say.
A group of 10 black youths — one of them a 12-year-old girl — surrounded a white couple’s car in Brooklyn, viciously beating the husband and yanking the wife to the pavement by her hair as they peppered the two with racial slurs, authorities said.

“Get those crackers!” some of them screamed, according to court papers. “Get that white whore!”

The confrontation erupted about 7 p.m. Monday, as the marauding group crossed Avenue U at E. 58th St. near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin.

Ronald Russo, 30, and his wife, Alanna, apparently had the green light and the husband honked at the group to get out of the way. The rowdy kids started kicking the car, according to the criminal complaint. Ronald Russo got out to check on potential damage to his vehicle.

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

Ronald Russo was dragged to the ground. Then he was punched and kicked in the head. He felt more blows all over his body, investigators said. He suffered a fractured nose, a broken septum, a blood clot and abrasions to his shoulder. He was treated and released from Beth Israel Medical Center.

In the midst of the attack, there was a steady chorus of epithets. “White motherf—–!” screamed the attackers, who ranged in age from 12 to 18.

Alanna Russo, 30, was calling 911 when the 12-year-old girl pulled the woman’s hair and threw her to the ground. The victim’s head slammed into the concrete. She suffered a black eye, bleeding and difficulty breathing, prosecutors said, but she refused medical attention.

Her husband’s iPhone was stolen during the melee, according to cops.

The kids scattered after the brazen attack. But two teens, Kashawn Kirton and Daehrell Finch, were arrested at a nearby Lowe’s store parking lot minutes afterward.

Kashawn Kirton, 18, believes he was wrongly accused of a hate crime because he was wearing the same outfit as a teen that allegedly attacked a driver near Kings Plaza on Monday.
Kashawn Kirton, 18, believes he was wrongly accused of a hate crime because he was wearing the same outfit as a teen that allegedly attacked a driver near Kings Plaza on Monday.

Also arrested, cops said, were the 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.

Kirton, 18, of East Flatbush, who has no prior arrests, faces gang assault, harassment and menacing charges, all as hate crimes. He was released on $50,000 bond.

In an interview at his home Saturday evening, Kirton told the Daily News he would never be part of such an attack, noting he has Caucasian cousins.

“I have relatives who are white. Cousins and stuff,” said the freshman at St. Francis College. “My school is mainly white. More than half my friends are white. I wouldn’t use words like that.”

Kirton said he was inside a Lowe’s store when the beatdown happened outside and was arrested because he was wearing the same outfit as one of the assailants.

Finch, 17, of Gravesend, was charged with gang assault, assault, menacing and harassment but does not face hate-crime charges in Monday’s attack. He has prior arrests for assault, theft of services and trespass, officials said, and is being held on Rikers Island in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Cops are looking for six more suspects.

A man who answered the door at the victims’ Mill Basin home declined to comment on Saturday.

A neighbor said he’s seen no racial tension in the area. But “it’s different” near the Kings Plaza mall.

“It’s not just a black and white thing. It’s stupid teenagers thinking they can do whatever they want,” the neighbor said.

How come “flash mobs” of urban black youth are noted for rioting and disorderly conduct, while “flash mobs” of Christians are noted for singing surprise Christmas carols? Same word, opposite meaning. Just wondering.

  13. James says:

RE: “Despite online evidence of the mall melee, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said no one filed a complaint about being assaulted or robbed”

Sounds to me like the store owners and mall-goers were simply too afraid to press charges for fear of retribution.

RE: “They weren’t stealing anything,” said the NYPD spokeswoman. “They weren’t assaulting anyone. They were going through the mall, making loud noises. Some were fighting with each other.”

Really?? According to the article, “Abu Taleb watched in horror as the teens poached items from other vendors. He said he couldn’t escape the throngs of pint-sized (puhlease!) pickpockets as they raided his jars of sweets — and tried to get their paws on his cash.” And, “Kids tried to get my cash from the register,” he continued. “(One) had scissors and was acting like he (was) going to attack me.”

And the NY Post article also says “they looted and ransacked several stores.”

The longer we as a society continue to tolerate and downplay the violent acts of these feral blacks, the more brazen they are becoming. Of course, NYC has some of the most anti-concealed carry laws in the country, so there is no fear whatsoever of any law-abiding armed citizens being in their midst.

  14. John says:

From justme’s post: “Ronald Russo got out to check on potential damage to his vehicle.”

LOL…something tells me that was some clueless liberal, the type who sees a pack of feral yoots and thinks only racists would want to steer clear of them.
