Military Miserable Under Obama

Liberals saw fit to choose as Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces a left-wing community organizer whose only qualifications were his politically correct black skin and Muslim name. Let’s see how it is working out from the point of view of those he commands:

A stunning number of retired U.S. military leaders were not surprised when Barack Obama announced that Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel would be stepping down from his Obama cabinet last week. The announcement confirmed their expectations that the president’s distrust of the military has caused him to go to the “extreme levels of micromanaging from the White House,” said one Army general on Saturday, now retired in Texas, who wishes to remain anonymous.

“Obama has shown his stripes and is dangerously suspicious of the Pentagon,” revealed the general, who keeps close ties with current and former military leaders nationally. “Most of my colleagues are just hoping all the damage being planned is not completed before his time runs out on his term.”

“It’s not just the army,” noted the general. “All branches are worried because Obama, when he finally makes up his mind about something, gets his advice from Gen. (Martin) Dempsey (Joints Chiefs of Staff Chairman), Susan Rice, John Kerry and Denis McDonough.”

John Kerry infamously demonstrated his regard for the military when during an anti-war protest he contemptuously threw over the US Capitol fence the medals he had gamed the system for during his extremely short service in Vietnam.

When asked what concerns generals and him the most right now, the general quickly replied “how Obama is turning the military into his own personal laboratory for social engineering.”

This social engineering does not end with Obama’s aggressive promotion of homosexuality in the military. Another prominent aspect is the promotion of Islam and corresponding suppression of Christianity.

“Unhappy, was not a hard enough word to express our feelings when we found out that the Obama Administration began scrubbing all law enforcement, intelligence and military teachings on Islam,” the general said. “Under the Obama administration, any presentations going to the military and to law enforcement have to be pre-approved by a special Department of Justice panel.”

“Political Correctness is killing us: How can we properly identify the enemy, analyze his weaknesses, and defeat him, if we are NEVER permitted to examine him from the most basic doctrinal level?” stated a report by Army Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley, from the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, Va. Soon the Obama machine went to work to get Dooley fired and the information scrubbed. …

While many in the military are puzzled by Obama’s goals and approach to the conflicts in the Middle East, the White House did accomplish one of the president’s key goals for our military in September. Quietly, it was announced that our soldiers can now wear Muslim type turbans, scarfs, or have beards, to display their religious beliefs while in uniform.

Meanwhile…

Obama’s policies seem aimed at eliminating Christianity from the military. Soldiers had to remove the cross they erected from their chapel at Camp Marmal in northern Afghanistan. Camp Pendleton came under fire for a 13-foot cross raised on a hill to honor fallen Marines. Obama administration Pentagon appointees met with Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith. Weinstein, who leads the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said Christians sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military are guilty of “treason.”

Recently two Baptist chaplains, Maj. Steven Firtko, Army (Ret.) and Lt. Cmdr. Dan Klender, Navy were forced out of a Veterans Affairs chaplain training program after they refused orders to stop quoting the Bible and to stop praying in the name of Jesus.

Obviously Christians in the US military vastly outnumber Muslims. But Obama has been working to change that.

Electing Obama was not merely an act of treason against the United States, but against the entire Western World in favor of its ancient Islamic enemy.

In the leadership void Obama has created, Russia has positioned itself as the defender of the Christian faith — and by extension, European Civilization. As Obama methodically reduces the size and strength of the military, Putin has been conspicuously flexing his muscles.

For centuries the West has been led by America and Britain, two countries with firm commitments to decency and liberty. The future course may be charted by Russia, which has been steeping in tyranny for centuries. But even Russian domination is preferable to withering away and dying of self-hatred, which is the path liberals have set us on.

commander in chief obama
Either treason or idiocy.

When the entire country is at stake, we have to assume Obama’s actions are treasonous.

I just love hearing from the “retired” military. They whine and snivel all the way to the bank with their pension checks. Meanwhile, their brethren, still in uniform, suffer in silence awaiting their retirement.

What no one is saying is that all these “honorable” servicemen took the same Oath of Office,… “to protect and defend the Constitution”. So stop complaining. You had/have the chance to honor your Pledge, and you blew it. It’s those of us you are supposed to defend who will suffer the most. So either do something, or SHUT UP!!!

Which just makes it even more evil and malicious that Eric Holder, Al Sharpton, and Obama have all been “preaching” their message of hate and lawlessness in black so-called Christian churches across the country. Holder spoke at a black, social justice church last week – the Ebenenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. Sharpton spewed his hate at The Flood Christian Church and at Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist (supposedly Michael Brown’s church), and Obama has orated Satan’s message in at least three black churches. They HATE true Christians and that has been obvious from the beginning.

    “Woe to the Obstinate Nation

30 ‘Woe to the obstinate children,’ declares the Lord, ‘to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;”

    Isaiah 30:1-3New International Version (NIV)

So are you advocating these officers encourage armed action to defend the constitution? If you are, realize just how slippery a slope that can be. The world is full of examples of it like South America in general…oh and Libya. Others who have stood up by refusing to go along to get along have been drummed out to be replaced with officers more sympathetic to our Marxist in Chief. I’d rather have “undercover” officers unwilling to order action against their fellow citizens than ones with no problem driving a tank through your house because the Dear Ruler said so. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.

General, I’ve got some news for you. The enemy isn’t just overseas. The enemy isn’t just streaming in our southern border.

An enemy works to make you more vulnerable. He works towards your destruction. He works “behind the lines” to make you less effective in battle.” He works to confuse you, and ultimately hopes to defeat you.

In the “information age” this enemy works with only a pen and a phone.

Well, John Forbes Kerry’s medals must have been made out of rubber, because they were displayed in his office in the Senate office building.

He later said that yes, he threw medals over the fence, but those were not “his” medals–they were standins for the real McCoy. He must have knew they would come in handy later in his political career.

The US Armed Forces Oath of Enlistment, which varies only slightly to the oath taken by commissioned officers, also includes the line, “and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”
So, are you proposing that all military members break their oath? Once they are retired, they are no longer subject to the UCMJ.

There are such things as “proper orders” and “IMproper orders”. An improper order (Personal service, or an order that will result in rendering aid to the enemy or the reckless endangerment of those under your command) can be ignored.
