Moonbat Reactions to Soleimani and Aftermath

Taking out Qasem Soleimani was a major coup not only because it put an end to the career of a terrorist soaked in American blood, and not only because it saved any number of American lives by establishing a red line that Iran has proven hesitant to cross (at least until Democrats are back in control). It also helped prevent Dems from taking the helm by exposing their radicalism, anti-Americanism, and guffaw-worthy foolishness.

Pete Buttigieg should be advised that blaming Trump for everything, when Trump is clearly acting in America’s best interest, is the same as blaming America for everything (not that Buttigeek has hesitated to denounce America). Via Daily Mail:

Buttigieg is facing sharp criticism after suggesting the innocent civilians killed in a plane crash shot down by Iran’s military died in a ‘unwanted tit for tat’ between Washington and Tehran.

Ted Cruz responds:

‘Uh, Pete, they weren’t “caught in the middle.” They were shot down BY IRAN. Military incompetence by the leading state sponsor of terrorism,’ he wrote.

‘Just because Dems hate Trump doesn’t justify false equivalence w/ Iran.’

Maybe Buttwhatever thinks Iran was shooting the missile at the USA but the Ukrainian plane happened to get in its path. It wouldn’t be the dumbest thing we’ve heard from him.

At least Mayor Pete didn’t equate killing a terrorist who had been conducting war against the USA for years with assassinating the Vice President:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Thursday defended her opposition to the elimination of Iran’s top general and terrorist mastermind Qasem Soleimani by likening the action to a hypothetical assassination of the vice president of the United States.

This actually makes sense, from her own point of view. If she can remove Trump through impeachment as she has been clumsily attempting, and get Iran to assassinate Pence, guess who the president would be?

For flat-out crazy, let’s move from the political to the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party. There, we encounter the reasoning that since Trump killed him, Soleimani must have been a great guy. Chris Matthews even compared him to Elvis:

“When some people die, you don’t know what the impact is going to be. When Princess Diana died, for example, there was a huge emotional outpouring,” Matthews said on his show Wednesday night.

“Elvis Presley in our culture. … It turns out that this general we killed was a beloved hero of the Iranian people to the point where, look at the people, we got pictures up now, these enormous crowds coming out.”

Matthews is a fool, but not an idiot. He knows turnout is not necessarily spontaneous or even voluntary for events praising dead tyrants in places like Iran. He is nakedly propagandizing on behalf of a terrorist regime sworn to America’s destruction. That makes him not just a jerk but a bad guy.

By the way, Matthews was a speechwriter for Jimmy Carter, who was POTUS the last time Iran tried taking over an American embassy. That time it turned out a lot better for the Iranians, due to a leadership vacuum in the White House.
