Moonbats Launch Petition to Ban Metallica

There is nothing that moonbats won’t try to take away from us. They even want to ban Metallica:

An online petition has been launched by animal rights activists to ban Metallica from performing at Glastonbury later this month.

Since it was announced last month that the American heavy metal band would headline alongside Kasabian and Arcade Fire, the booking has been met with controversy, with artists and commentators claiming that their sound was not in keeping with the festival. The storm surrounding Metallica’s booking has now increased, with festival goers taking issue with frontman James Hetfield’s support of bear hunting.

The singer, who is also a member of America’s National Rifle Association, will narrate an eight-part History Channel TV series called The Hunt, which documents the killing of Kodiak brown bears in Alaska.

Like the ideology of those running our government, Glastonbury is a relic from the hippy era, and is still associated with progressive culture. Maybe Metallica wasn’t the best choice to headline, considering that Hetfield describes himself as “pretty conservative on a lot of things.”

However, hippy music went stale decades ago, whereas Metallica still rocks. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, moonbats. It tolls for you:

Screw Glastonbury. Tell those insects to get stuffed, then hold a concert nearby on the same day. See who gets a bigger crowd.

    Keep being awesome, Hetfield!

The people behind that petition had better sleep with one eye open, clutching their pillow tight.

I used to hate Metalica when I was a teenager, in the early ’80’s at the top of their popularity. Then in’92(?) they released Black(?). I loved every song on it. Then I grew to appreciate all of their “Classics”!! “One” and “For whom the bell tolls” are my two favorites!!

The “Spirit of Glastonbury”? What, smelly hippies and wannabe Druids selling bad weed?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m fully in favor of banning Metallica. But let’s not get all holier than thou about it, ok?

All through High School, I never liked metal, got a job as a bouncer in a bar back in ’92 (when I was 29), Metallica’s black album was on the jukeboxe’s rotation, found that I liked ‘Enter Sandman’ and every song on that disc.
Have gone on to buy all the other Metallica CD’s available.

    So…..what’s wrong with Metallica?
