More Gay Sex, More STDs

The endless promotion of homosexuality by the progressive social engineers in charge of most everything is having its intended effect:

“People over time are reporting more same-sex sexual experiences than ever before,” said Brooke Wells, a social psychologist at Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies.

It’s not that there are more homosexuals. There are more people giving it a try because they have been told it is the thing to do, in order to be trendy and/or politically correct.

The behavioral trend, reflected in an annual survey conducted between 1973 and 2014, was fueled largely by people who had sex with both men and women. There has been little change in the number of people reporting exclusively homosexual behavior.

The changes were reported Wednesday in the Archives of Sexual Behavior. The research team included faculty from Widener, Florida Atlantic, and San Diego State Universities. A total of 33,728 people answered the survey over the 41-year period.

The number of U.S. adults who said they had at least one same-sex sexual partner doubled between the early 1990s – that question wasn’t asked earlier – and the early 2010s, from 3.6 to 8.7 percent for women and from 4.5 to 8.2 percent for men. Bisexual behavior rose from 3.1 to 7.7 percent, accounting for most of the change.

The survey found that only 1.7 percent of men and 0.9 percent of women said they had exclusively homosexual sex.

No doubt a higher percentage believe Elvis is still alive. Yet modern society increasing revolves around doing whatever is deemed best for homosexuals.

Opinions are certainly malleable, particularly when hardly anyone is willing to defend decency from social engineers. Look at the success they have had:

Meanwhile, the percentage of respondents who said they believed same-sex behavior was “not wrong at all” rose dramatically, from 11 percent in 1973 and 13 percent in 1990 to 49 percent in 2014.

The effect of this has been what you would expect:

A government report shows an “alarming” and “troubling” increase in sexually transmitted disease (STDs) in America.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reported [last November] that chlamydia hit a record high in 2014 of 1,441,789 cases reported. That’s five out of every 1,000 people – a 2.8% increase over 2013.

Reported gonorrhea cases rose to 350,062 – an increase of 5.1% over 2013.

Perhaps the most shocking statistic in the CDC report is that primary and secondary syphilis cases have increased over 15 percent, and congenital syphilis has increased a full 27.5 percent. …

And the situation may be worse than even the CDC report indicates. Many cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis go undiagnosed, and human papillomavirus, herpes simplex virus, and trichomoniasis are not routinely reported to the government.

Do progressives promote homosexuality (and teen sex through government sex education) in order to spread disease? Not in the medical sense. The objectives involve destroying the family and eroding the concept of a higher moral authority than the New York Times editorial page.

It isn’t sex that spreads STDs. It is progressive sex. Sex within the parameters of traditional morality is both natural and safe.

“The latest data only reinforce what pro-family groups have been saying for decades – the only ‘safe sex’ is sex that is saved for a monogamous, sexually exclusive lifelong marriage,” Peter Sprigg, senior fellow for policy studies at the Family Research Council, told LifeSiteNews. …

The government report admits, “While anyone can become infected with an STD, young people and gay and bisexual men, are at greatest risk.”

Social engineers are making American society sick in more ways than one.

Obviously the Progressives will claim that this increase in disease is because we haven’t done enough to hand out free condoms.

They never question whether their is a fundamental flaw in their behavior.

This could fall under the law of unintended consequences…however I doubt it is entirely unintended.

Subscribe to Napoleon’s adage. “Never interrupt the enemy when he’s busy making a mistake.” It’s a Progs error; they have to live with it.

So, does this mean that the homosexual advocacy groups have given up on the argument that people are born gay?

    From the CDC:
In 2014, The rate of reported cases of chlamydia among black women was 5.7 times the rate among white (liberal) women. The chlamydia rate among black men was 7.3 times the rate among white (liberal) men

The rate of gonorrhea among blacks in 2014 was 10.6 times the rate among (liberal) whites.

The rate of congenital syphilis among blacks was 10.3 times the rate among (liberal) whites

The liberal Snopes site has recently put up an article pointing out that the American College of Pediatrics does not represent current mainstream “scientific” opinion and is even classified as a “hate group” by the SPLC.

So… what Snopes meant as an attempt to make the ACP sound disreputable ends up revealing them as being *very* reputable!

Francis Bellamy, Christian socialist minister, author and US flag salesman, authored the Pledge of Allegiance, to be repeated while using the Bellamy Salute to salute the US flag.

You can Google Bellamy Salute and find many examples of kids looking just like little Nazis.
Of course, Francis had a cousin Edward Ballamy who wrote a book “Looking Backwards” about a guy who woke up in the year 2000 in a future socialist Utopia. His book was very influentual, and Bellamy clubs were organized across the nation.

After a couple of years, they were renamed “Nationalist Clubs.” They, also, were really big on the whole Bellamy Salute, etc.

Of course, Progressives (aka Socialists) in the US tell us that the Bellamy Salute had nothing to do with the very similar looking salute adopted by that guy with the funny mustache.

    Right.

Of course your beer may appear a bit smaller than what you are used to. We call that “Bernie Sized” so that those who can’t afford to buy their own beer will be treated to a free beer, in exchange for their vote.
