New California Law Limits Water Use

Californians who want there to be more water can vote for gubernatorial candidate Travis Allen in the primaries today. Those who think that rather than create more water storage capacity it would be better to limit water use can vote for one of the many moonbat candidates and stay the course with continuing nonsense like this:

California is now the first state in the nation to enact tough new water-efficiency standards. The controversial rules limit how many gallons a person can use inside their home per day.

“So that everyone in California is at least integrating efficiency into our preparations for climate change,” said Felicia Marcus, Chair of the State Water Resources Control Board.

Notice how the bureauweenies who impose this senseless tyranny blame it on “climate change,” which we are supposed to believe can be arrested by ever greedier and more tyrannical government.

In 2022, the new indoor water standard will be 55 gallons per person, per day. by 2030, it will fall to 50 gallons.

To get an idea of how absurd this is, consider that a single bathtub can hold over 100 gallons.

Unless moonbats are turned out of office so that California can build some more reservoirs, the formerly golden state’s future will be dirty, thirsty, and brown.
