Newspeak Dictionary Update: Delete “Christian”

The purpose of Newspeak is to limit language by gradually restricting vocabulary, and thereby limit thought. This will allow Party Members to avoid the snares of thought crime. The next word to be struck from the Newspeak Dictionary will be “Christian”:

Lois McGinnis and her family own Cedar Springs Christian Store. They recently decided to close a second location of the store so they decided to place an ad in the classified section of the newspaper, which is owned by Gannett.

In addition to the Knoxville News Sentinel, Gannett owns many other local papers (e.g., the Arizona Republic, the Des Moines Register, the Detroit Free Press), as well as USA Today.

The advertisement read: “Store closing sale – Cedar Springs Christian Store – Clinton Highway location – All merchandise, fixtures, slat walls must go. Sale through August 13, phone 865.947.XXX.”

But the ad failed to appear…

So Mrs. McGinnis phoned the newspaper and spoke with a classified ad employee.

“She said our ad did not run because it contained an offensive word,” she told me. “I asked what that offensive word was and she said the offensive word was ‘Christian.’”

She said the News Sentinel did not notify her in advance the ad had been rejected nor did they call to say they were refunding her money.

For once a tale of totalitarian moonbattery has a happy ending. Public outrage forced the News Sentinel to pretend that the ad did not appear due to a “system failure.” The ad was allowed to run “for an extended period at no extra charge.”

Maybe East Tennessee is not the best place to try to ban the word “Christian.”

All the same, it is clear that members of the Inner Party consider the word to be offensive. The last people still using it will be regarded with suspicion, so be proactive and strike “Christian” from your copy of the Newspeak Dictionary today.
Avoid thought crime; keep it up to date.

That is the character of the media. They always try to control the “dialogue”, narrate the narrative, and will stop at nothing to purport their meme. Thank God, the print media is now obsolete and there are many alternatives to anything purported by Fraud Stream Media.

I guess they’ll said nothing if the “m-word” was used.

I wish they’ll be more happy endings.

My next ad would read, “Store Christian closing Christian sale – Christian Cedar Springs Christian Store – Christian Clinton Highway Christian location – All Christian merchandise, Christian fixtures, Christian slat walls must go. Christian Sale through Christian August 13, Christian phone Christian 865.947.XXX.”

Well boys and girls the unusual time of peace for USA Christians is drawing to a close. These periods of peace are rare worldwide and they never last. The good news is the more the enemy ramps up the opposition the healthier the Church will become. We could use some healthy about now…

Gannet also runs the local Asbury Park Press whose black editor Hollis mocked “pasty White men.”

It would be much easier and efficient to delete LEFTISTS!!

  7. Gene says:

The Knoxville News Sentinel recently published a four page article on a local imam and Islam. Here it is in full.

    “On Tuesday I met with . . . at . . . It was . . .. I . . . go . . . Some would ask . . .. But . . . .. . . . to . . . with . . . nice. . . . So, in conclusion, . . .. . . . in the future.”

Readership is down, but the newspaper makes up for the lost revenue with savings on ink.

That would result in a shifting of the Bell Curve!

  9. Dr. John Charles says:

I am so tired of Christians and conservatives that are robbed of their basic constitutional rights only response is to play the “Ain’t it awful” game. Accepting the victumhood is to collude with the Marxists who have assigned us that role. Soon, fighting back will be in the order of complaining and whining at best. Where is our sense of outrage and action. BOYCOTT something! Be outraged over every single assault of constitutional rights no matter how slight. Lets all begin to ban together and BOYCOTT a fascist company like Target. Send a message.

    Thank you!!!!!

  11. Dr. John Charles says:

There is no such thing as the “Knoxville News Sentinel.” There are only individuals who run, decide and write the news. Name these Marxists and expose them for what they are and BOYCOTT the paper until it’s sold and a true news journals assumes control. It has to begin at the grass roots level where it began.

  12. Dr. John Charles says:

Just organize a BOYCOTT of this paper. I good beginning is to name the actual individual responsible for propagating this racists rhetoric, as you did. Evil cannot stand the light of truth. It must start with the grass roots where it began. Boycotting is simple, passive aggressive and effective.

  13. Dr. John Charles says:

Simply organize BOYCOTTING these Marxist/Fascist organizations that rely on Christian revenues to propagate their assault. In other words, do not buy the rope the Marxists are using to strangle us!! Passive/aggressive economically is the best approach. Starve the beast!! As Christians lets begin with Target and transgender bathrooms and the NBA and PayPal who support them.

I do my part as much as is possible but us narrow path folk are few and getting agreement is very much like herding cats. Perhaps some real persecution will cure that…

Newspeak, the only language that gets smaller every year.

I’m waiting for the Post Card Edition to come out.

Oh, it’s going to take way more than boycotts, Dr.

  17. 762x51 says:

It seems to me that there is a disproportionate amount of Progressive influence in churches today. Certainly the Catholic faith has their Comrade Pope leading them into the darkness, there is the Lutheran disgrace which also serves evil, not God. So many other examples exist, you could say, “they are legion”. Anecdotally, I’m sure the church you attend is not of that persuasion but I doubt that, as a whole, the church is growing stronger as a result of the encroaching fascism. Attendance may be up, but that is not a measure of strength, health, will or resolve, it is a measure of desperation.

  18. MAS says:

The Church isn’t a denomination and building, it’s individuals saved by Christ one at a time. The first mistake congregations make is to forget that and roll out the carpet for non-believers to join in when we meet. Then they entertain those goats instead of feeding the sheep because of flawed soteriology. Can unbelievers attend? Sure but they should have to endure teaching tailored for the Saints and be ready to be called to account before the Lord they should fear.

The assembly I attend is only slightly as messed up as many we have been to and worse than some. My battlefield is to go where He wants me to be and do what He wants and right now that is supporting a very Godly associate Pastor (and the few Saints still there) in any way I can. This in an assembly heavily laden with personal politics and the vain traditions of men instead of focusing on the word of God. In Revelation chapter 2 terms this place would be Sardis…reputation as alive but actually dead. Frankly, .308, the fog of battle is a clear sunny day compared to the fog in the modern Church. While your FOV is a rifle scope mine is the Scriptures…the stakes are eternal.

P.S. I don’t consider the Lutheran and Roman Catholic organizations (among many others) to be Christian at all. They are more like Washington D.C. than Smyrna or Philadelphia and their congregants seem too mystified by their political Kabuki theater antics to question that.
