Newsweek Calls Non-Obamunists Dumb

The barking moonbats at Newsweek have settled on a nuanced and sophisticated explanation for why some of us aren’t on board with the bankrupting and dismantling of America — we’re “dumb”:

Note that the cover article is written by Andrew “Milky Loads” Sullivan, a shrieking homosexual hysteric best known for promoting a tacky conspiracy theory about Trig Palin’s parentage.

No doubt Newsweek offers the same explanation for why no one but the dentist’s office subscribes to their cartoonish rag anymore: we are just too dumb to appreciate it.

On tips from Rob Banks and Sean.

And proudly I say,I’m one of the dumbest!
And I wear that with as a badge of honor.

  2. Sam Adams says:

    Definition of DUMB
a : lacking the human power of speech b of a person often offensive : lacking the ability to speak
: temporarily unable to speak (as from shock or astonishment)
: not expressed in uttered words
    : silent; also : taciturn

I couldn’t agree more with this characterization. Critics of Obama need to speak up much more loudly and clearly.

  3. KM says:

Of course there’s no bias in the media…

  4. Kek says:

So the logic is to convince people they don’t want to be dumb so they better vote for obama? That’s dumb.

  5. Sam Adams says:

You got it, Kek. Undumb people vote for Obama. You know, undumb people who don’t understand basic math (so they can ignore the size of deficits and deficit spending), undumb people who understand that undeclared wars entered into by republicans are bad and undeclared wars entered into by democrats (well, the Dear Leader anyway) are good), undumb people that believe that government arresting and detaining people without trial or representation, when done by republicans is bad, but when done by the dear leader is good, and that a republican president ignoring the courts and congress is bad, but a democrat president ignoring the courts and congress is good.

Vote for Obama and demonstrate how undumb you really are. And unRacist.

  6. Henry says:

I challenge any Prog to now argue that there’s no media bias.

    Prog-fucks will avoid this thread…

  7. Kevin R. says:

This, from a magazine empire that sold for one dollar.

  8. Fiberal says:

I commented earlier on running an article on increasing individual intelligence, completely unaware of their conflict of interest.

This one sets the bar even lower for irony.

Here we have a magazine written by the barely-educated for the uninformed trying to inaccurately portray critics of the dumbest U.S. president ever, as dumb.

George Orwell could not have made this up.

A side note: Doesn’t this by implication, mean that Newsweek and their liberal followers do not disagree that there are 58 states in the Union?

(….Nor apparently do they disagree with about 1,000 other delusions given to us by their Dear Leader.)

  9. Jimbo says:

Gee… and this particular faggot’s opinion means SO much to me.

  10. Kevin R. says:

“On the man with a plan”

So they admit it, our plight is all part of his plan.

  11. blue says:

gee, the article on Mrs. Santorum’s Surprising Past ought to be interesting……

  12. Festivus says:

A thoroughly discredited writer gets front page billing. Now that’s impressive.

  13. Fiberal says:

BTW, the geniuses at Newsweek must also concur with BO that:

It is May 24 2008, since during a trip to London’s Westminster Abbey, President Obama signed the guest book and dated it 24 May 2008 in 2011.

That some people speak Austrian. BO: “I don’t know what the term is in Austrian” for “wheeling and dealing.” There is no Austrian language.

Math is hard: “In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died—an entire town destroyed.” BO was off by 9,988 deaths–with a pretty snotty manner (nothing worse than being arrogant and stupid).

It is easy to be confused about your religious convictions: “What I was suggesting—you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith,” before Stephanopoulos jumped in to help, saying “your Christian faith.”

BO is trying to bring more inefficiencies into medicine: “The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.”

Well, okay. Newsweek did get that last one right.

  14. Mickey Shea says:

You got that right about the dentist’s office.

  15. Fiberal says:

    I haven’t read the article.

By “critics” was Newsweek referring to OWS?

    Or just to Moose Obama?

  16. Bastiat Fan says:

This, from a magazine empire that sold for one dollar.

And at a dollar, it was overpriced. Aren’t these assholes gonna be surprised at the BLOODBATH in November?

  17. RICH says:

Why are Obama’s subjects so foolish?

    There, fixed it.

  18. Last time I saw their circulation #s, it was 65,000 copies a week.

By comparison, Moonbattery has twice as many readers per week. Small wonder Newsweak is willing to whore themselves out like this, once Obama and his slush fund are gone they are finshed

  19. Dr. 9 says:

Had an AIDS test lately Mr. Sullivan? (LOL) Then again, don’t bother. It’s probably too late. LOL

  20. smg45acp says:

As any seventh grader knows, when you can’t bet someone on logic, go to personal attacks.
Soon Newsweek will have a cover story saying all of Obama’s critics are “poopyfaces” or have “cooties”.

    They have no other ammunition.
What are they going to do brag on his record?

  21. rinardman says:

    Hey, Newsweak!

Why are Obama’s supporters such a-holes?

  22. lao says:

Andrew Sullivan: How Obama’s Long Game Will Outsmart His Critics

The right calls him a socialist, the left says he sucks up to Wall Street, and independents think he’s a wimp. Andrew Sullivan on how the president may just end up outsmarting them all.

  23. TED says:

I don’t know, dumb is much better than totally absolutly bat-shit out of their frickin minds NUTS like the Obamanists. Re:above

  24. son of a preacher man says:

He’s one of them there fashionable nonconformists.

  25. F.D.R. in Hell says:

On that cover, are you sure that’s not a picture of a pinhead from the 1932 film FREAKS? It sure looks like one to me.

  26. F.D.R. in Hell says:

    Ooops…Witness Protection Program.

  27. Joe says:

Newsweek has becaome SO bad, my parrot won’t even shit on it anymore. Won’t even let it in the cage. He must be dumb too.

  28. GoY says:

    Ah, AIDS-related dementia.

  29. Stephan the Original says:

lao has not yet learned that corrupt corporatism and government kickbacks is something conservatives hate more than anybody. They hate it because it breaks various principles – including growing a government to have enough power to make shady deals worthwhile – but the totalitarianism-loving left only hate it because somebody else has more than them.

But it seems that lao also thinks that the middle point conservatism occupies between total government control (socialism) and no government control (anarchy) is somehow an extreme viewpoint (it’s “unhinged” according to Sullivan) and he is oh-so-much-smarter than those who simply want to maximise what they get to keep from the fruits of their labour, but understand some government and the rule of law is a necessary part of keeping a civilised society running.

lao, you only come here to demonstrate, over and over again, for all to see, how ignorant about politics and economics and freedom and history you are. Given Sullivan’s ability to be clueless about the sexual function of his own body, it’s illuminating that you agree with him about something less obvious, like the completely biased analysis of stimulus money and bailouts. So much of his article is completely devoid of reality it is difficult to know what to discuss. Sullivan actually believes a depression has been “averted” by Obama’s administration!

When the real economic crunch comes, which will now be more severe – and which Obama’s policies have only deferred – where will you be, lao? Still pointing fingers at the ‘dumb’?

  30. Marian says:

Orwellian, or what? The problem with this “reporter” is that he thinks real Americans are as dumb as obama supporters. Only dumb obama supporters and haughty elites will read this crap. Real Americans couldn’t care less what either of these groups think.

  31. wingmann says:

Anybody who votes for this assclown AGAIN…..has stockholm syndrome.

A phenomenon in which a hostage begins to identify with and grow sympathetic to his or her captor.

    yep,that’s them!

  32. Jim says:

There is only one response (a couple of notes please)…

  33. Infidel says:

Is it me, or does it look like that picture was taken by someone on their knees?

  34. RichInNC says:

They’re positioning themselves for a bailout and this administration will give it to them.

  35. Willowfield says:

Because they cannot name the 57 states

  36. lao says:

    re stephan @ 5:25.

Since I made no comment whatsoever, I do enjoy reading your claims about what I believe.

  37. Kevin says:

The title of the article should be:

Why Are Obama’s Supporters Still So Blinded By His Lies And Deceptions?

  38. NotSoDumb says:

Sullivan is a Conservative ya know. True he’s gay, but he’s not a shrieking leftist. If you read his article, his point is that Obama’s critics continually underestimate the man and think throwing “dumb” things like the birth-certificate controversy at him will do the trick. The Republican that comes at Obama with *issues* instead of rhetoric will be successful. Calling him Unamerican and showing pictures of him not putting his hand over his heart for the national anthem didn’t work last time and it won’t work this time. Instead of reacting to this without reading it, why don’t you guys read this fellow conservative’s point of view and see if the GOP can learn from it, because to try and do the same thing you did in 2008 against a man whose biggest problem was “inexperience” then but now has 4 years of OJT, well that’s kinda dumb.
