Not Even Fellow Dems Can Stand de Blasio

According to Politico, not even his fellow Democrats can stand New York’s radical left mayor Bill de Blasio:

As long as they’re talking off the record, many Democratic leaders and operatives will trash de Blasio. They think he’s smug. Annoying. In it for himself without any follow-through. The rap on de Blasio is that he likes to make a lot of noise but doesn’t like to do a lot of work, that he has an oversize sense of his own importance.

It’s often visceral.

I know how they feel.

Hopefully, this dislike will spare us from the threat of a de Blasio presidential candidacy, even if he has been hanging out in Iowa lately. But then, not even other Democrats like Hillary much either. Likability isn’t what they have to offer; other people’s money is.

On tips from Bodhisattva and Jester.

Sounds like a description of most New Yorkers.

    1. Sounds like presidential material.
    2. If de Blasio was a person of color, it would be racist to hold such opinions.

I get a kick out of the hubris of some New Yorkers who believe that they are so smart and street-wise that no one can pull the wool over their eyes….

Not even a gal from Arkansas who can get elected as senator with essentially nothing of merit on her resume.

Let’s hope that “climate change” puts it all under water.

Spare us? Seems to me, he’d be AWESOME for us!

D’s nominating a loathsome radical that no one can stand? I’m not seeing any downside here.
