O.J. Simpson Parody Account Gets Scary

The Juice could be up to his old ways now that he is active on Twitter. This post from an O.J. Simpson parody account is being treated by various news outlets (e.g., Daily Mail, Fox News) as if it may be on the level (sorry about the language):

The New York Post reports:

O.J. Simpson’s Twitter account allegedly sent a series of menacing direct messages — including a string of 16 knife emojis and the warning that “I WILL FIND YOUR ASS AND CUT YOU” — to a parody account that skewers the disgraced football star over his acquittal in the 1994 slayings of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

The shocking threats were contained in a pair of videos posted on the “@KillerOJSimpson” Twitter page on Monday, which also marked the 25th anniversary of the infamous slow-speed police chase of a white Ford Bronco that ended with Simpson’s arrest on murder charges.

Simpson was shockingly acquitted on racial grounds, although he was later found liable for the murder of his victims in civil court.

Since Simpson is still on parole for armed robbery, his parole officer may want to look into this. In the meantime, @KillerOJSimpson had better keep his head down. O.J. has killed before over less.

This whole thing is probably fake, but then again…

On tips from Sean C and Kate P.
