Obama Ignores Law, Shovels Our Money at Palestinian Terrorists, Then Lies

The Obama Regime always releases the most interesting information late on Fridays, so that it will fall into a media black hole and be forgotten. For example:

President Barack Obama has signed a waiver to remove curbs on funding to the Palestinian Authority, declaring the aid to be “important to the security interests of the United States.”

A $192 million aid package was frozen by the US Congress after the Palestinians moved to gain statehood at the United Nations last September.

But in a memo sent to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, published by the White House, the president said it was appropriate to release funds to the authority, which administers the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Hot Air explains why this approaches treason:

Congress deliberately froze those funds, and not just because of the statehood demand through UNESCO. Hamas, a terrorist organization, reconciled with Fatah and has rejoined the PA, which means we’re putting almost $200 million into the hands of a terrorist organization. The language of the Palestinian Accountability Act could not be clearer: “[N]o funds available to any United States Government department or agency … may be obligated or expended with respect to providing funds to the Palestinian Authority.” Obama literally waived that statutory language off…

Bizarrely, the Obama Regime justifies borrowing money in our name and giving it to Islamic terrorists by claiming they have recognized Israel’s right to exist and have renounced violence. These are brazen lies.

Why don’t the SOWdi Barbarians hand over their money to their moslem *brothers*?

Why should we “*infidels* give these stinking throwbacks anything at all besides a few guided missiles up their rear ends?

Here’s the Quote of the day:

“Apparently, I’m supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack Obama does with mine.”

Seems to fit this latest outrage to a TEE.

Why are the Republicans SO SILENT? Are they all being blackmailed or what is going on?

    From blunt’s own link:

In November, the US Congress released $40 million but the State Department had expressed concern about being able to provide the necessary funding to address the dire economic and humanitarian hardship facing Palestinians.

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said the funds were aimed at “ensuring the continued viability of the moderate PA government under the leadership of president Mahmoud Abbas and prime minister Salam Fayyad.”

  6. Sam Adams says:

When congress specifically cuts off funds, the president should understand that, as a co-equal branch of government, congress has the right (and in this case, the responsibility) to do that.’

Of course laws are only effective if they are enforces. Obama continues to flaunt the law, and congress has not held him to account for his actions.

Tell me again why any incumbant congressman should be re-elected.

  7. Yep, sounds like BHO

He’s been palling-around with vengeful, racist scum like this for decades

Just another day in the Obama White House.

“Hey, here is another law or act of Congress that I don’t like. I’ll just ignore it an do whatever I want to do!”

  9. A. Levy says:

So, you ask, where are most of the world’s communists and radical Marxists today? Why, they’re alive and doing very well in the Nation of Fools.

“Occupy Wall Street has been a global anti-capitalism protest that, according to OccupyArrests, has resulted in 6,877 arrests so far. While the movement went largely dormant over the winter, it has vowed to come strong in the spring.

That comeback is supposed to be May 1, in NYC and San Francisco, when the group has promised: “Millions of people throughout the world — workers, students, immigrants, professionals, houseworkers — employed and unemployed alike — will take to the streets to unite in a General Strike against a system that does not work for us.”

The May 1 rally is being organized by a coalition of Occupy Wall Street, Alliance for Labor Rights, Immigrant Rights, Jobs for All, May 1st Coalition for Immigrant & Worker Rights and “Immigrant & Community Organizations.”

At least 83 groups are listed as endorsing the general strike, many of them unions. Those include several locals from the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees, Service Employees International and International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America.

Several radical groups are part of the coalition, including: the Freedom Socialist Party, the anti-Israel group Labor for Palestine, and the NYS District Communist Party USA.

At least two journalist unions are part of the protest. Those include:

•The Writers Guild of America, East, “a labor union of thousands of professionals who are the primary creators of what is seen or heard on television and film in the U.S., as well as the writers of a growing portion of original digital media content.

•CWA Local 31003 The New York Newspaper Guild, as well as two other Communications Workers of America locals.”

And the response from We The People? Z-Z-Z-Z-Z-Z-Z-Z-Z

  10. Path says:

At what point does someone (perhaps Bohner) say, “No, Mr. President, you cannot do that” Or, even better, “I have a warrent for your arrest”

  11. Bob Roberts says:

Trolls don’t understand that pesky thing we call time:

In November [2011], the US Congress released $40 million.

    Dateline FEBRUARY 22, 2012:

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday began a three-day visit to Cairo where he is scheduled to hold talks with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal and representatives of several Palestinian groups on the formation of a Palestinian unity government and the implementation of the Qatar-brokered reconciliation deal between Fatah and Hamas.
In truth we should have thrown ALL those terrorists to the dogs, but we have a history of supporting lost causes, unfortunately.

Those of us who lack the credulity of a troll understand that Mahmoud Abbas is not a dulcet freedom-lover, and the PA/Fatah is not a moderate Muslim boys’ club. It’s time to end the good cop/bad cop charade between the “extremist” Hamas and the “moderate” Fatah – by treating them as co-equal perpetrators of terror. Abbas has repeatedly called for armed struggle against Israel (in Arabic, of course), glorified suicide bombers, and is closely linked with the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an Iranian-funded terror group that rivals Hamas in its ferocity in recent years.

There may be well organized exceptions to the rule, but in most if not all locations any demonstrations will likely fall well short of “99%” and will likely be closer to .1% if not .01%. Still something to be concerned about because they have a history of causing trouble and interfering with those who are just trying to support their families and get ahead in the world, but hardly the threat they would have us believe.

  13. Clingtomyguns says:

And yet the majority of America’s self-loathing and genocidal Jewry will still vote for Obama after he embraces Israel’s sworn enemies? No wonder why Moses smashed the first set of the Ten Commandments against the Israelites other golden calf and they wandered in the desert for 40 years. Some things just never change.
