Officials Have Inflated COVID-19 Death Count

The governmedia used the Wuhan coronavirus mortality rate to terrify us into complying with a catastrophic economic shutdown and virtual house arrest. No one has ever known what that mortality rate is. However, we do know that it is much smaller than we were led to believe.

It continues to shrink by the day, eaten away from both ends. On one end, antibody studies reveal that vastly more people have had the virus and recovered than we knew (e.g., Santa Clara County, Los Angeles County, New York State, Miami). On the other end, it has becoming increasingly clear that authorities have been inflating the mortality count. For example, consider Pennsylvania:

Pennsylvania has had to remove hundreds of coronavirus deaths from its official death count [last] week, following questions of accuracy and highlighted discrepancies by area coroners.

The PA health department decided to include “probable” coronavirus deaths, or an assumed COVID-19-related death without testing for the virus, to their death tolls, dating back days and even weeks ago. …

Health Secretary Rachel Levine, who decided to include “probable deaths” in the department’s total count, acknowledged to the Philadelphia Inquirer that such deaths may change over time.

Like they used to joke in the Soviet Union: the future is certain; it’s the past that keeps changing. A person who died of Kung Flu may later have died of something else.

We have met this Rachel Levine fellow before. He does not seem to be the kind of guy it would be sensible to trust with a tyrant’s power, to put it mildly.

Pennsylvania is not alone:

As noted by The Daily Wire last week, New York City is also including untested patients into their COVID-19 death totals: “New York City added a huge number of deaths to the total number of deaths caused by the coronavirus after deciding to include over 3,700 victims who had not tested positive for the virus but were presumed to have the virus because of their symptoms and medical history.”

Earlier this month, White House coronavirus task force leader Dr. Deborah Birx explained that COVID-19 deaths in the United States have “very liberal” recording guidance, noting that anyone who tests positive for the virus and dies would be included in their numbers of coronavirus deaths.

By using the same approach, they could establish a frightening death toll for another coronavirus, the common cold.

Why would government officials inflate the death count? Because our fear feeds their power.

The best thing that could come of ChiCom virus hysteria is if people have it permanently driven through their heads that Big Government cannot be trusted.

This guy has power over Pennsylvanians.
