“Why do politicians have such low credibility today?”

    Today? Today it’s EVEN WORSE!

Now watch the rant Ali goes on. Part of it is true, the parts about how the black community is the source of many if not most of the black community’s problems, but part of it is the same old nonsense. For instance, he talks about “stealing property and keeping it”, but nothing, except their freedom, was stolen and that was stolen by their own kind. He’s basically demanding reparations.

  7. Mr. Freemarket says:

And to think that Trump supporters were having a hissy-fit about possibly appointing Mitt Romney as SOS….

  8. irandom419 says:

I still don’t understand how he got the nomination.

  9. Mr. Freemarket says:

I’m waiting for some Trump supporters to indicate why this isn’t a double standard.

  10. TrojanMan says:

You will be waiting a very long time.

  11. TrojanMan says:

Mittens would have been a rotten choice as well. Seems like this guy will have massive conflicts of interest. But hey nothing worse than any of Trump’s conflicts of interest.

  12. Mr. Freemarket says:

I don’t think he understands, either.

Let’s check in and see how we are “progressing” down that road to civil war.

The breeding ground for civil unrest, a precursor to civil war, has for decades been the college campus. These types of scenarios are played out over and over again at campii nationwide every week. The unrest is growing, not lessening.

Meanwhile, the Marxist media is doing it’s part to whip up those feelings of animosity and violence.

The civil unrest has backing from entire state and local governments as we see here with the Marxist Progressives at National Socialist Public Radio helping to get the word out that breaking the law is now acceptable.

YEP, still on track. Eventually, the Progressives will exactly what they have been working toward for over a half century, and they will never be that unhappy again.

    We shall see…..

  37. TrojanMan says:

Because cult leader Trump made the nomination. All must fall in line. They know this was a bad choice like many of their idols others picks but they are not honest enough to admit it.

I am also sure that just like Trump, his past has no relevance.

Trump has made a few good choices but most of his picks have been cronies, Goldman Sachs alumni, and RINOs. The very swamp things he was supposed to be draining.

  38. KHarn says:

It’s funny that someone from RECORDS is considered an applicant for the position of Inspector. It would have been great if Harry said “I know a couple of METER MAIDS who are more qualified than you!”.

  40. TrojanMan says:

Was he born here was he born there, my opinion on the matter is irrelevant. Unfourtunately, and i will quote Hitlety, “What difference would it make”.

I was struck by the thought that, if we thought Alyinsky was bad working for the democrats, then how can be justify using the same tactics that we previously abhorred?

  51. Mr. Freemarket says:

My take is simple….falsifying a government record is a crime and should be criminally punished.

You can serve time for lying to the FBI or most police agencies. You can serve time for making up a false ID. Why the double standards with Obama’s birth certificate?

In other words…treat it as a crime.

  64. TrojanMan says:

Being that there is nothing in the constitution about having a previous president that was not valid to serve. Congress or SCOTUS would have to set a precedent. Do you honestly think that either would rule all his actions null and void? I highly doubt it. you know demoorrhoids would fight to keep everything he did.

  70. Bodhisattva says:

But who’s fact-checking the lefty libby lyin’ moonbat fact checkers?

Snopes, which will now have the power to declare what news is or is not legitimate on the world’s largest online platform, almost exclusively employs leftists.

Facebook announced Thursday that mythbusting website Snopes will be one of a few fact-checking organizations allowed to label stories as “fake news.”

Almost all of the writers churning out fact checks for Snopes have a liberal background, and many of them have expressed contempt for Republican voters. The Daily Caller could not identify a single Snopes fact-checker who comes from a conservative background. Snopes did not respond to a list of questions from TheDC regarding the site’s ideological leaning.

At least two of the site’s fact-checkers joined Snopes after writing for Raw Story, a far-left publication that describes itself as a “progressive news site that focuses on stories often ignored in the mainstream media.” Several others have demonstrated liberal partisanship.

    As usual you are wrong.

And if you weren’t so dimwitted, you would have noticed entirely different styles.
(MB: Now watch the idiot proudly discover that PilloryHillary and fibtard have never been seen together.)

Confront you directly? What kind of idiot has no idea who his opponent is, forms a half-ass image due to nothing but an impression based on the use of standard grammar and a clearly higher intelligence, and then risks miscalculating even further by calling that person out? Does it never even occur to you, that if your misconstrued view of me as a weak coward was even a little bit correct, that I might have employees?

I just don’t believe you’ve thought through all the possible contingencies here.

Oh wait. You’re as courageous as you are military. Which is to say, that you won’t name a time and place. That’s right. I almost forgot that cute little escape route of yours.

BTW does it never seem to bother you that the only one taking you seriously here is yourself? You realize that you’re a joke here, right?

However. Just relax. Stand down; at ease and forget the hostilities, Privates. Because I really do appreciate the heroic effort you use to try and find a point to make.

But here’s the problem: you are a broken record.

You need to try and not be wrong about everything. Try just one single original thought. For entertainment value if nothing else. At least Lao gave it a half-ass try now and then.

But for now, crawl back into your pup tent and continue practicing drinking your own urine.

You never know when during the civil war, you may need it to survive.

  74. Fiberal says:

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

    Always wrong.

What a maroon. What an ignoranimus.

  75. Fiberal says:

    Yes…..Could be a serious threat.

If I were you, I would hide.

  76. Fiberal says:

If 762×51 was capable of siring a son, he would humiliate himself like Kurt Eichenwald.

  77. TrojanMan says:

    Hide from what?

Futhermore, why are you speaking to me… have you forgotten i was too stupid to talk to?

  78. TrojanMan says:

Off topic and such enthralling commentary.

If you have something of value to add to the subject please express it.

  79. Fiberal says:

Don’t worry about it; just hide.

No, I have not forgotten that you are stupid.

But over the years the intelligence of the comments here has also fallen dramatically. Higher conversation (and it was never all that great) has become displaced by obsessive-compulsive posters, inane comments, hit & run nonsense, obscenities and felonious threats.

I also sense a shift upward in the average age of the posters today on MB. But of course, I don’t know that for sure.

Things really hit a low with the never-trumpers. This was where we almost saw the capture of the WH by Crooked Cowliary the Criminal as a result of millions of individuals who were ostensibly on the right.

The never-trumpers became incensed about what they perceived, (without due consideration), a 1%er outside the mold of a RR conservative, and acted in such a way to potentially produce an outcome indistinguishable from the outcome so desired by the left, who only saw a white male with the damnable temerity to make derogatory comments about a privileged race.

If you ever needed evidence for the drop in intelligence, or to be generous, the temporary absence thereof, of the right (and correspondingly, the minor hoi poloi on MB) it was with the never-trumpers….. Oh, I beg your pardon!

But in general, I blame the influence of Twitter. Twitter is the equivalent of writing on a bathroom wall. Today, we cope with the Twitter mentality in all things conversational.

And unfortunately, of course…..the Career Cartoon Guy is still here, …. posting other people’s work, taking up bandwidth.

So while you are certainly no Wittgenstein Scholar, and none of this is your fault exactly, MB has slid to the left side of the bell curve. A more mundane environment is the result.

Every so often, something even more idiotic than usual catches my eye, I feel a laugh coming on and I am compelled to comment.

But that’s what we have to work with today on MB. It should be some consolation that if your buddy 762×51 were any measure, you are an outright, dadgum, knee-slappin’ genius.

So that’s why I’m speaking to you.
    Besides, I’m a nice guy.

  80. Fiberal says:

    see below

  81. TrojanMan says:

“Besides, I’m a nice guy.” False.

Nothing you said has any value, was off topic, and will be ignored.

Have a nice day and GOD bless.

  82. troyez says:

Nobody actually VOTED FOR that ass-clown, did they?! I stuck to my guns and wrote in Cruz.

  83. Fiberal says:

I try to pull it together to speak with you and look what happens. I go unappreciated for my generous pearls of wisdom.

See, I try and I try with you kids.

BTW when its called an “Open Thread” there ain’t no “on topic” required.

BTW No, I don’t think it is particularly wise to be twittering out foreign policy. But this comment is small potatoes. And I’d rather he said something provocative, rather than “cut it out”; or have his words sanitized and perverted by the NY Times.

Trump is usually a step ahead of everyone and his unrestricted voice at the beginning of his tenure may be actually effective with the Chinese heathen.

I’ll remind you that when RR fired the air traffic controllers, guys like you in the U.S. were wetting their pants because they thought that the end of the world was here. The Soviets rather, took it as a warning that Reagan was a no-nonsense guy and it may be wise to be careful and work with him. I’m sure that this belief about Reagan was solidly reinforced when he announced over the radio that we begin bombing in 5 minutes.

Somehow I don’t recall you exerting this level of hysteria over BO and John Kerry when they were putting nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran, a much more serious and many times more reckless action.

Its time we stopped bowing to despotic countries and trying to thread through ever little sensitive moment that their leaders might have. We either drive our enemies before us and listen to the lamentations of the liberals, or we don’t.

So no.. You don’t have a victory here.

  84. TrojanMan says:

“BTW No, I don’t think it is particularly wise to be twittering out foreign policy. But this comment is small potatoes. And I’d rather he said something provocative, rather than “cut it out”; or have his words sanitized and perverted by the NY Times.

Trump is usually a step ahead of everyone and his unrestricted voice at the beginning of his tenure may be actually effective with the Chinese heathen.”

That was the only part of your comment worth reading. The rest was garbage and will be ignored.

This is an open thread but the topic being discussed was Trumps twittering. Your opinion has been noted.

  85. Fiberal says:

Now look at what you made me do.. Repost yesterday’s news.

You’re the guy with the “principles”. You should find this informative.

At this point, there is little doubt that BO is a felon. He is guilty of forgery and defrauding the U.S.

Smirking and calling the “Birthers” racists will no longer work to dismiss the evidence of forgery.

BO’s birth certificate is clearly a forged document.

Hadthe proper vetting of BO occurred under Pelosi, and had people stood up to the charges of racism (‘Birthers’; f you Bill O’Reilly) we might never have had 8 full years of a president working consistently against the interests of the U.S.

This has been a historic case of fraud perpetuated on the American people by the malevolent left who hid behind guilt racialism (i.e., BO’s skin color protected him from his accusers).

Americans have been injured in numerous ways by 8 years of BO, including massive theft of their money through stimulus programs.

But worse is the deterioration of American democracy, the constitutional republic and the rule of law under BO. And it is not the case that RINOs were equal partners in all this. Much less destruction would have ensued under BO if republicans had done their jobs, yes; they were cowardly and complicit—- but not the initiators. That is bad, but with a difference.

Americans have been defrauded by BO, guilt racialism, their own laziness and their considerable apathy. They wised up just in time to barely miss suffering through another criminal stealing the presidency. Apparently, sex does not trump skin color.

Now the left is at it again trying to discredit the election using fraud and lies. And emboldened by their success after putting BO in office, they will continue. One can only hope that the right can somehow muster enough attention to stay vigilant against the endless criminal malignancy of liberalism

  86. Fiberal says:

Wow… You know, I actually agree with you here.

  87. Fiberal says:

Tattoo my opinion on your forehead.

  88. Fiberal says:

BTW I’m being nice to you again. (below)

  90. TrojanMan says:

    False and off topic…. skip

  91. Fiberal says:

You really are taking yourself way too seriously.

    I’m getting worried about you.

  92. TrojanMan says:

The problem is, if it was proven he was not born in this country would congress do any thing about repealing all his actions?

I am sure it is a fake now what?

  93. TrojanMan says:

Great go pat yourself on the back….

  94. Fiberal says:

Not a chance. This congress is full of RINOs and jellyfish and traitors and stupidos.

My larger point is that it has been exposed by a state agency with the authority to investigate crimes, that the great liberal god has been formally and inexorably exposed as a fraud and a criminal.

So that if it ever becomes possible to win against liberalism, it is very important that criminal acts as egregious as a forged document that erroneously qualified what liberals consider to be the greatest man to ever walk the earth, as president of the U.S., is exposed in the town square for what it is and what he is; fakes.

As in wrong; as in criminal; as in all first principles of liberalism are wrong and criminal.

  95. Fiberal says:

Actually, it was an uncomfortable concurrence.

I had second thoughts about the deleterious effects of being on this blog there for a minute.

  96. TrojanMan says:

That’s fine, expose him, i support that 100%, but really to what end? The left does not care if he was born here or not and the right knows what liberalism is. The left nominated and supported a know criminal traitor for president, what do they care about the law? So who would we be convincing here? We know they are criminals, they know they are criminals but no one seems to care.

I want BO to be found ineligible to have held the office of POTUS and ALL his actions reversed.

  97. Fiberal says:

We know they are criminals, they know they are criminals but no one seems to care.

    I care.
    Trey Gowdy cares.
    Trump cares.
WF Buckley would care if he were here.

    My dogs don’t care.

  98. TrojanMan says:

And yet the criminal enterprise called federal government continues.

    “I care.
    Trey Gowdy cares.
    Trump cares.
WF Buckley would care if he were here.”

I will give you 3 of the 4. The jury is still out on the 4th.

  99. Fiberal says:

    You mean bc he’s dead?

  100. TrojanMan says:

4th not necessarily in chronological order. Meaning that out of the 4 in your list there is one where the jury is still out but you knew what i meant.

  104. Bodhisattva says:

Well I’m cautiously optimistic that the critics of Trump that I usually respect will find their worst fears were about as silly as the ridiculous things the left was saying – and still are saying – about Trump. So far he’s doing OK overall, but we will have to see if he keeps some key promises he made.

It is great to see the left howl… I wonder if there will be a notable uptick in suicides because of this.

    Monday morning might be interesting.

  108. 762x51 says:

I honestly think that the self-serving swine in office would act strictly in their own best interest.

I was just going on current law that a document is not legally binding when executed under fraudulent conditions. I cannot claim to be the CEO of Microsoft, provide fraudulent documentation to persuade the other party that I’m telling the truth(fraud in the inducement) and then sign a document which legally obligates Microsoft to perform on that agreement or require the other party to perform whatever they were required to do.

There is also an argument to be made concerning the mental capacity of an individual who would perpetrate such a fraud. Again, such documents have no enforceability.

All that aside, the Constitution is not silent on this issue. It defines the criteria to met for a legitimate president. If any of those those criteria are found to be missing, that presidency is unconstitutional and illegitimate. The Constitution also requires that any act of Congress be signed into law by a real President. They do not become law until that time. If I went into the Oval Office, sat down at the Resolute desk and started signing acts into law, would they be legal? Of course not, because that authority does not rest with me any more than it would some other fraud.

Congressional action would be needed to fix any laws that the current Congress wanted from the fraudulent period, rightfully signed into law by a real President, the rest would be null and void out of the gate.

I agree with what you are saying. We already have a government that usurps the Constitution. I do not see this magically changing if it’s proven that Bo was found to be ineligible to serve. I have no faith that they would undo laws even if the are by default null and void. Those laws would continue to grind us down until challenged.

Looks like “off topic” is going to be your go-to attempt to shut down debate – you’ve attempted to use it here six times so far. All hail the “off topic” arbiter Moonbattery’s Open Threads!

We are debating death threats made to electors in this thread. If you have something of value to add to this discussion then by all means add to it. So staying on topic is “shutting down debate”?

I’m waiting for someone to explain why all these die hard Trumpskateers behave just like Progressive liberals?
Must be some of those 12 million Progressive Democrat voters who crossed over during the GOP open primaries to help Trump since he was getting his ass handed to him during all the closed ones.
