The mad cow milks the fake news cow, again – and manages to take first place? How does that happen? The dumbing down of America… First Orewell’s 1984 came true, now we’re seeing the dawning of the age of the American Idiocracy as the left continues to gain strength when they should be dying!

OK it says her FOX won or dominated from 4 to 7… then MSNBC squeaked by or won from 7 to 9… then what? Mad Cow dominates from 9 to 10? But wait, it gets even more ridiculous as O’Donnell takes 10 to 11 and Williams wraps it from 11 to midnight.

Why couldn’t Mad Cow have been the one who held up the severed head? Not that MSNBC would have done anything to her if she had…

They’re doing it wrong – according to their own philosophy of inclusiveness and justice!

Shouldn’t they be demanding prices stay low so the less fortunate can buy there? Or do they secretly not want them there but they’re too busy virtue signalling to admit it?

House prices in gay neighborhoods are soaring

  3. Bodhisattva says:

Were they unable to learn from Griffin’s mistake, or just unwilling?

Then again, the point is valid with moonbats running the U.K.: They’re doing it wrong and people are dying as a result!

Finally, some sense in the courts!

Court rules against gay man who sued Catholic church for firing him

Collette, the music director at Holy Family Catholic Community in Inverness, was with the parish for 17 years before he was let go in 2014 after announcing he was engaged to his same-sex partner.

The judge concluded that the job Collette held was “critical to the spiritual and pastoral mission of the church.” While that might speak to Collette’s high standing in the parish, the judge determined that it placed him within an exemption that churches have from some employee discrimination laws.

Kocoras wrote that the Supreme Court has “recognized the right of religious organizations to control their internal affairs,” and that non-ordained employees can be considered ministerial if they are responsible for conveying a church’s message, teaching the faith and carrying out the church’s mission. From helping carry out mass to playing music at church ceremonies, Collette’s responsibilities as director of music and director of worship fell into those categories, Kocoras wrote in his April ruling.

The absurdity of the defense position:

“That someone of (Collette’s) commitment and ability is prevented from pursuing their career in this day and age is a sign of how far some institutions have to go in accepting all members of society, and demonstrates that there are still many individuals who are not granted equal rights in the workplace,” Lavelle said.

Nobody is stopping him from pursuing his career. He flaunted the fact he’s going against a MAJOR church teaching so he just has to find somewhere else to pursue it. He’s good – he will land on his feet. Somewhere, some place where being gay is not an issue, and there are more and more such places all the time, he will find work… or would have, had he started looking instead of trying to grab the brass ring. Now he’s branded himself as litigious and someone who might not be such a good hire, despite his talents and other positive traits.

California’s endless winter: 8 feet of snow still on the ground in June

The snowpack throughout the Sierra rivals, and in places exceeds, records set during the massive winter of 1982-83. As of June 6, the amount of snow on the ground in the central Sierra region was twice as much as usual, marking its biggest June snowpack in decades, the California Department of Water Resources said.

So, did “global warming” cause this?

No, it’s basically just more normal, natural weather – which is determined by, and I’m quoting Michael Mann – yes, the infamous father of the even more infamous “hockey schtick” – that Michael Mann!

It certainly WAS NOT caused by global warming because Mann admits that there’s been a pause, a hiatus or, at least, a “slowdown” – the other words are what other people are calling THE FACT that there has been no statistically significant global warming (only some weather falsely claimed to be global warming) for over 20 years now. Mann admits that it was

“… due to the combined effects of internal decadal variability and natural forcing.”

Not due to humans or their CO2. Normal, natural causes.

See for yourself. Direct quote, but in context, in case you wish to see it that way (and it’s always good to check):

Woman runs naked 5K after losing 150 lbs

OK, congratulations on losing so much weight… we’re all happy FOR you and proud OF you… but hey, before you get naked in public, take a look in the mirror! You need to lose 200-300 more before doing that! Or at least another 150! For God’s sake, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!

  8. Bodhisattva says:

Climate change – IT’S THE SUN, STUPID… and we better HOPE we can warm the globe, the way things may be headed!

More evidence is piling up that climate depends largely on the sun along with orbital factors that have nothing to do with CO2.

And more scientists are suggesting we may just see some pretty significant cooling and perhaps even a Little Ice Age, a Maunder Minimum type event, GLOBAL COOLING – which would at least put the nonsense about CO2 and global warming to rest once and for all…

No, what was I thinking. Liberal moonbats, once they latch on to nonsense, are incapable of letting go, EVER! They would rather make it perfectly clear they’re wrong to the point of insanity than actually learn something, admit something and show they can be right. That word bothers them even in this context – they can’t be right, even if it means they have to continue to be wrong.

Earliest fossil evidence of Homo sapiens found in Morocco, rewriting the story of our species

Over the last two decades, a combination of genetic evidence and data from the fossil record have led scientists to conclude that the first members of our species evolved in eastern Africa about 200,000 years ago.

But a new discovery suggests a more complex narrative for the origin of humans.

In a pair of papers published Wednesday in Nature, an international team of researchers describes 22 human fossils from western Morocco that are about 300,000 years old.

According to the authors, it is the earliest evidence of Homo sapiens ever discovered — by a long shot.

The unexpected location of the find, coupled with previous discoveries of early human remains dating back 260,000 years in South Africa and 195,000 years in Ethiopia, casts doubt on the story that the first members of our species evolved in a single region of the African continent, study authors said.

At $15 / hour, the current crew of fast food workers will be replaced by either automation or a new crew that is more skilled at taking and filling food orders. Either way, accuracy is bound to improve. When I order “no cheese” on my burger, I won’t keep getting cheese on my burger. When I order “Sausage Biscuit with Egg” (whose name actually lists exactly the components involved), I will get that and not some damned Egg McMuffin with Queso.

It was hilarious how the warming alarmists said reduced solar activity could cause a “pause” in global warming, but solar activity could never ever be the cause of warming. Progressive ideology is often about the finer points of passing gas with a case of diarrhea.

AP furthering disproven climate scare myths as usual – and moonbat controlled propaganda outlets playing their part in spreading fake news, propaganda and disinformation.

Climate decision could accelerate damage to Trump properties in Florida

The story claims Mar-a-lago is threatened by sea level rise. Not true. King tides and storm surges don’t even affect it and it will be some time before the normal, natural rise of sea level does.

The story claims Trump’s Doral Golf Course is threatened – it is far inland, beyond the Miami airport in fact, not under any threat at all and won’t be for at least a hundred years, probably more, even if I’m wrong and human carbon is causing changes. But I’m not wrong and it is not causing any measurable change.

The story claims the soaring apartment towers bearing Trump’s name on Miami-area beaches are threatened – also not true, though as sea levels rise, normally and naturally, they could eventually come under threat – in a hundred years or more, perhaps.

But this story blatantly lies – because there are areas of Miami and surrounding communities where poor planning has already led to flood related damage from extra high (king) tides already, so Trump’s places already aren’t the first to be threatened – threats already exist in areas that were planned and built poorly.

This problem existed since I was living in Miami in the early 1980s and I actually took it into account when I decided to look into buying property there myself so I’m familiar with the bad and good areas of town, or was then, anyway. With continuing development in the ensuing years things have no doubt changed.

    Moonbats are creeping in…

Maine high school is apparently first in U.S. to get sports hijabs

Muslim student athletes at one U.S. high school no longer have to be slowed down by worries that their headscarves might fall off.

Deering High School in Portland, Maine, is providing sport hijabs with the goal of making Muslim girls comfortable – and boosting their participation in sports. The lightweight scarves stay put and are less bulky than other hijabs, garments that cover the hair and are worn by many Muslim women to express their faith.

“We’re more confident on the field,” said junior lacrosse player Fadumo Adan. “This one doesn’t fall off. No matter what I do, it won’t fall off.”

Is their swim team required to wear them?

New “resort” offers unique treatments: Irradiation!

A new hostel has opened in the heart of the Chernobyl exclusion zone, one of the most radioactive places on the planet.

The Ukrainian government is behind the accommodation, set in a former Soviet dormitory just nine miles from the site of the nuclear disaster that decimated the area in 1986.

State administrator Svetlana Grishchenko said that the hostel currently has 50 beds but there are plans to expand it to accommodate 102 people. The first guests this week included tourists from the US, New Zealand and Denmark.
