    Mueller’s Credibility Problem
The special counsel is stonewalling Congress and protecting the FBI.

You know, during Watergate, people working for some on Nixon’s staff broke into the DNC headquarters to try and gain information on the Democratic candidate.

This time around the DNC, Hillary Clinton and apparently Obama as well used the nation’s own intelligence gathering capabilities, including the NSA, the FBI (Muller and Comey are implicated) to try and gain information on Trump.

This is Watergate X 1000 only the wrong people are being investigated and those criminally involved are doing the investigating.

    Roy Moore’s Liberal Enablers
If he wins, he can thank Al Franken and Jimmy Kimmel among others.

When Alabamans go to the polls a week from now in a special election to choose their next senator, not even Mrs. Roy Moore will be rooting as hard for her Republican husband as the junior senator from Minnesota, Al Franken.

  3. Bodhisattva says:

Hey, just in time to try to shoot down Roy Moore again they manufactured more “new evidence”:

Just like the previous autograph, this one likely isn’t his handwriting, though hopefully a better fake than the yearbook was.

And just like before, the OLD HICKORY HOUSE is misspelled. There’s no “e”, it’s not “Olde”, it’s OLD.

And really this isn’t even a big deal because THIS woman says he only dated her – didn’t necessarily do anything wrong other than date a girl half his age – I’d do that. So what if someone says it’s inappropriate. They’re just jealous.

    When liberals attack…. OTHER LIBERALS!

Looks like SNL has triggered the moonbats who are so full of hate they forget they’re supposed to give their own a pass:

Saturday Night Live has run into a bit of turbulence over a weekend skit that some viewers are calling “insulting.”

The NBC sketch comedy series made headlines Monday after the skit about Irish airline, Aer Lingus, went viral.

The comedy bit featured Irish actress Saoirse Ronan and SNL vet Cecily Strong as Aer Lingus flight attendants. It included several stereotypes about Irish people, such as a love of potatoes and dogs, and having thick accents.

The skit stirred up so much controversy in Ireland that The Irish Times published a lengthy article Monday panning it as “unfunny Paddywhackery” – we’re not exactly sure what that means, but it can’t be good.

Aer Lingus was equally unimpressed and tweeted a statement mimicking President Donald Trump’s recent criticism of the popular series.

“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Ronan impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad,” the tweet said.

So what, Irish people don’t like dogs or potatoes and don’t ever have thick accents?

You gotta love the U.K.’s liberal Independent for its hard-hitting and pertinent stories. Actually, the pettiness is harder to stomach than the McDonalds’ described.

Independent: I ate Donald Trump’s McDonald’s order and it was worse than I imagined

It’s a well-documented fact that President Donald Trump loves fast food. And as attested to in a new book written by two of his former campaign aides, his go-to from McDonald’s is quite the tall order. The president’s typical order at the Golden Arches is two Big Macs, two Filet-o-Fish sandwiches, and a large chocolate shake — malted, according to the book. That’s a lot of calories for one meal — 2,430 in all. I’m a big fan of McDonald’s myself — my shameless love of the Big Mac is public knowledge. It’s my go-to order at McDonald’s, no less. Of course, I only order one, but who’s counting? I’m assuming running a global business enterprise takes a lot of energy, never mind leading the free world.

Oh the horror of good economic news! Good thing CNBC is around to provide the pessimism.

CNBC: US trade deficit rises to 9-month high in October

It hit a nine-month high as rising oil prices helped to boost the import bill, suggesting that trade could be a drag on growth in the fourth quarter. The Commerce Department said on Tuesday the trade gap widened 8.6 percent to $48.7 billion. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast the trade deficit widening to $47.5 billion in October after a previously reported $43.5 billion deficit the prior month.

But then again, it is common for CNBC to try and throw cold water on things:

CNBC: As markets cheer Congress’ moves, questions rising about limits of the ‘tax trade’

The Blaze: Program encourages kids to turn in toy guns: Don’t ‘make a child feel comfortable with a toy gun’

A Buffalo, New York community has launched a gun exchange program for children to turn in their toy guns. Why is this happening? WIVB-TV in a report published Friday revealed that the annual exchange was conceived to reduce gun violence by deterring children from playing with toy guns at a young age. “What we don’t want to do is make a child feel comfortable with a toy gun,” Leonard Lane, president of Buffalo’s F.A.T.H.E.R.S. organization, told WIVB about the program, which exchanges toy guns for other toys. Lane believes that toy guns in the possession of children present a serious concern for the future of the children as well as that of the community. According to Lane, “Whatever you put in a child’s hands that’s what he feels comfortable with, and you put a toy gun in his hands at an early age and when he gets older he’s going to want the real thing.”

Bloomberg: House Republicans Prepare Contempt Action Against FBI, DOJ

U.S. House Republicans are drafting a contempt of Congress resolution against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray, claiming stonewalling in producing material related to the Russia-Trump probes and other matters. Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes and other committee Republicans, after considering such action for several weeks, decided to move after media including the New York Times reported Saturday on why a top FBI official assigned to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russia-Trump election collusion had been removed from the investigation. Republicans, including the president, pointed to the reports as evidence that the entire probe into Russian meddling has been politically motivated. “Now it all starts to make sense,” Trump said on Twitter Sunday.

Mueller deputy praised DOJ official after she defied Trump travel ban order: ‘I am so proud’

A top prosecutor who is now a deputy for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe praised outgoing Attorney General Sally Yates after she was fired in January by President Trump for refusing to defend his controversial travel ban.

The email, obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, shows that on the night of Jan. 30, Andrew Weissmann wrote to Yates under the subject line, “I am so proud.”

He continued, “And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects.”

The disclosure follows confirmation that another Mueller investigator, FBI official Peter Strzok, was fired over the summer after allegedly sending anti-Trump texts to an FBI lawyer with whom he was romantically involved.

His alleged actions revived concerns about the objectivity of the FBI probes of both Hillary Clinton’s email setup and Russia election meddling.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton called the new Weissmann document an “astonishing and disturbing find.”

“Andrew Weisman, a key prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, praised Obama DOJ holdover Sally Yates after she lawlessly thwarted President Trump,” he said in a statement. “How much more evidence do we need that the Mueller operation has been irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump partisans?”

The Democrats’ Dangerous Obsession With Impeachment
The party needs to focus on winning elections, not removing Trump.

Liberals are becoming giddy at the prospect of impeaching the president. “Can Democrats finally start talking about impeachment, Nancy Pelosi?” Errol Louis asked in a column for CNN, referring to the House minority leader. On The View, Joy Behar bubbled with delight when she was handed the news, now revealed to be inaccurate, that former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was willing to testify that then-candidate Trump had instructed him to make contact with the Russians. (The report was corrected to say that Trump had done so as president-elect.) Some Trump opponents are already looking upon impeachment as a done deal. “He’s going to be impeached, I believe,” Crispin Sartwell wrote at Splice. “I’ve thought so since the election. Michael Flynn is singing.

Of course there is nothing to sing about. The crimes that have allegedly been committed had nothing to do with Trump or collusion. Yet the moonbat collusion delusion remains as strong as ever, apparently, despite the fact there’s nothing at all supporting it.

    Another moonbat takes a dive

The top editor for the National Enquirer, Us Weekly and other major gossip publications openly described his sexual partners in the newsroom, discussed female employees’ sex lives and forced women to watch or listen to pornographic material, former employees told The Associated Press.

The behavior by Dylan Howard, currently the chief content officer of American Media Inc., occurred while he was running the company’s Los Angeles office, according to men and women who worked there. Howard’s self-proclaimed nickname was “Dildo,” a phallus-shaped sex toy, the former employees said. His conduct led to an internal inquiry in 2012 by an outside consultant, and former employees said he stopped working out of the L.A. office after the inquiry.

Howard quit soon after the report was completed, but the company rehired him one year later with a promotion that landed him in the company’s main office in New York. It was not clear whether Howard faced any discipline over the accusations. AP is not aware of any sexual harassment allegations involving Howard since he was rehired.

I thought we were a nation of laws – what’s with this waiver stuff?

Like many presidential candidates before him, Trump promised during his campaign to enact a 1995 law that calls for the U.S. embassy to be located in Jerusalem. The law allows presidents to postpone the move by issuing a waiver every six months, and all of Trump’s predecessors did so out of concern about the strategic consequences.

In a speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee as a candidate, Trump promised to “move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem.” Once in office, however, he moderated that stance, saying in an interview with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee that he wanted to give peace a shot “before I even think about moving the embassy to Jerusalem.”

It’s not clear how long an actual move of the embassy would even take, or if such an announcement would rule out a Palestinian role in the city. The person familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified discussing internal deliberations, said moving the embassy would take some time because the building would need to be built first.

Compared to states, the District ranks No. 2 for the percentage of adults who consume alcohol and No. 1 for the percentage of heavy drinkers, according to, an online resource for alcohol abuse treatment programs.

According to the study, 65.9 percent of adults in D.C. have had at least one drink in the past month, second only to Wisconsin’s 67.3 percent. The study was based on data from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, which collects health-related data from phone interviews.

The study also says 11.1 percent of D.C. adults are what it labels heavy drinkers, consuming more than two drinks daily for men and more than one drink daily for women.

The District also topped the list for the highest percentage of binge drinkers — men who have had five or more drinks, four or more for women, on at least one occasion in the past month — at 25.5 percent. says approximately one in eight Americans is struggling with alcohol abuse, with particularly troubling increases among women and minorities.

Lawyers sue California because too many children can’t read

A group of prominent lawyers representing teachers and students from poor performing schools filed a lawsuit against the state of California on Tuesday, arguing that the state has done nothing about a high number of school children who do not know how to read.

The advocacy law firm, Public Counsel, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court to demand the California Department of Education address its “literacy crisis.” The state has not followed suggestions from its own report on the problem five years ago, according to the lawsuit.

“When it comes to literacy and the delivery of basic education, California is dragging down the nation,” said Public Counsel lawyer Mark Rosenbaum, who filed the lawsuit along with the law firm Morrison & Foerster.

Department of Education spokesman Bill Ainsworth said officials could not comment because the state had not yet been served.

Statewide English assessments found less than half of California students from third grade to fifth grade have met statewide literacy standards since 2015.

I’m thinking the outcome will be decided by racists and the Democrats will retain control:

Voters in Atlanta were choosing Tuesday between two women to be the next mayor, testing the staying power of a long-dominant black political machine amid profound demographic and economic changes.

The runoff election pits two city council members: Mary Norwood, who calls herself an independent, and Keisha Lance Bottoms, the chosen successor of outgoing Mayor Kasim Reed.

A victory for Bottoms, 47, would continue a run of African-American mayors that began with Maynard Jackson in the mid-1970s.

A win for Norwood, 65, would give Atlanta its first-ever white female mayor, and end the Democratic Party’s hold on an office it has held without interruption since 1879.

Political analysts have said African-American voters will ultimately determine the outcome.

A big question is whether an ongoing federal probe of corruption in city contracting under Reed’s watch will encourage voters to take a fresh look at Norwood, despite fears that as an independent who lives in the upscale Buckhead area of the city, she’ll turn out to be a stealth Republican who will serve up City Hall to Georgia’s deep-red political apparatus.

Jeffrey Brower, 45, a white man who lives in the East Atlanta neighborhood, said he voted for Norwood, but that his vote was more a vote against Bottoms and Reed. Bottoms is too close to Reed and would be like an extension of the current (Kasim) administration, he said.

“Kasim seemed to be more about what’s best for Kasim than what’s best for the city,” Brower said.

Ventura County wildfire rages over 45,500 acres, destroys more than 150 structures; 27,000 flee

Around 7 a.m., the wind appeared to be pushing the fire east toward Camarillo and north toward Ojai, Lochman said.

The fire started near Highway 150 on Monday evening and spread into Santa Paula. From there, the fire followed Foothill Road from Santa Paula to Ventura, taking out homes and winding along canyons in the process.

On Tuesday, firefighters will continue trying to save homes in Ventura, where the fire was active. They face a red-flag wind advisory that notes ridgeline winds of 35 to 45 mph, with gusts up to 70 mph. Winds are expected to decrease somewhat in the afternoon, said Chad Cook, Ventura County Fire Department division chief.

For a fantastic near real time view of global conditions – in this case winds at any of several altitudes, see:

    SURFACE CONDITIONS:,31.50,3000

    500 hPa:,31.50,3000

Pressure is generally measured in units of Pascals.

Atmospheric pressure at sea level is approximately 100,000 pascals (101,325 Pa by definition.) Air pressure is usually measured in hectopascals (hPa), the hecto prefix corrsponding to 100, so 1 atmosphere is approximately 1000 hPa. A pascal is the SI unit for pressure, defined as 1 newton per square metre.
Earth’s gravitational acceleration on the surface is approximately 10 m/s^2, so atmospheric pressure is roughly equivalent to 10,000 kg, or 10 tonnes per square metre!

Because the air pressure at a given fixed point in the atmosphere can vary from time to time, a fixed pressure instead of a fixed height is the standard way to state where you’re at in the atmosphere when talking about some types of weather and related things. Other times, particularly when you’re talking about aircraft flights, the better known reference is straight height, either above mean sea level (MSL) or above ground level (AGL) depending on the specific aspect of what you’re talking about.

If you’re interested in the shape of the Earth, you might find this worth looking at:

For generations, the only way to express topographic or bathymetric elevation was to relate it to sea level. Geodesists once believed that the sea was in balance with the earth’s gravity and formed a perfectly regular figure. MSL is usually described as a tidal datum that is the arithmetic mean of hourly water elevations observed over a specific 19-year cycle. This definition averages out tidal highs and lows caused by the changing effects of the gravitational forces from the moon and sun.

MSL is defined as the zero elevation for a local area. The zero surface referenced by elevation is called a vertical datum. Unfortunately for mapmakers, sea level is not a simple surface. Since the sea surface conforms to the earth’s gravitational field, MSL also has slight hills and valleys that are similar to the land surface but much smoother. However, zero elevation as defined by Spain is not the same zero elevation defined by Canada, which is why locally defined vertical datums differ from each other.

The MSL surface is in a state of gravitational equilibrium. It can be regarded as extending under the continents and is a close approximation of the geoid. By definition, the geoid describes the irregular shape of the earth and is the true zero surface for measuring elevations. Because the geoid surface cannot be directly observed, heights above or below the geoid surface can’t be directly measured and are inferred by making gravity measurements and modeling the surface mathematically. Previously, there was no way to accurately measure the geoid so it was roughly approximated by MSL. Although for practical purposes, at the coastline the geoid and MSL surfaces are assumed to be essentially the same, at some spots the geoid can actually differ from MSL by several meters.

  30. Bodhisattva says:

So much for claims there are no “leaks” coming from Mueller and his team – they’re leaking all right – leaking LIES AND FAKE NEWS.

Mueller Subpoenas Trump Deutsche Bank Records, Source Says

Deutsche Bank receives subpoena from Mueller on Trump accounts: Source

And of course, the LIEberal media is full of FAKE NEWS yet again:

White House: Mueller has not subpoenaed Trump’s bank records

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday disputed reports that special counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed President Trump’s bank records.

“We confirmed that the news reports [that] the special counsel had subpoenaed financial records related to the president are completely false,” Sanders said during the daily press briefing.

“No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources. I think this is another example of the media going too far and too fast and we don’t see it going in that direction,” she said.

Citing an anonymous and unidentified official, Reuters reported earlier Tuesday that Mueller’s team had subpoenaed records from Deutsche Bank, where Trump is believed to have a line of credit and to have conducted tens of millions of dollars in transactions.

But Sanders said those reports are false and were another example of the news media getting something wrong in the frenzy to report on the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Sanders declined to say whether banks should comply with subpoenas for records if they receive them.

“I’m not going to get into hypothetical situations and try to determine everything that could happen,” she said. “We know it hasn’t happened up until this point and that the reports out were totally false and again the media got ahead of their skis a little bit pushing and driving that story that wasn’t true.”

Now here we see, again, the media hoping to PUSH things in a given direction perhaps, hoping to feed the lunatic liberal moonbat delusions about Trump, since you know they will remember that headlines screamed that Trump’s bank records are under review even though they aren’t and never were nor should ever be.

Trump is telling Republicans not to fall for that trap, but it’s being generally reported as Trump telling Republicans not to try and fix DACA, which isn’t the thrust of what he’s saying. They can go ahead and fix it, but not as a necessary part of a larger bill to fund the government.:

Dreamer fix shouldn’t be in deal to avoid shutdown, Trump tells senators

Trump tells Republicans NOT to fix Dreamer program yet…

He’s not saying “Don’t fix it yet”, he’s saying “Don’t let the Democrats hold something vital hostage, don’t let Democrats force you to give in and do things their way by including this in a larger package.”

The fix would be to craft a Republican solution to the DACA issue, a quick stand alone bill, and then put that up for a vote and let the Democrats shoot it down.

The most critical injury involved Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, who couldn’t move his legs and reportedly suffered a spinal contusion after a frightening hit early in the game. He left the stadium in an ambulance and is in a local hospital.

Later, Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster laid an ugly helmet-to-helmet hit on Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who has a reputation of dirty play throughout his career, especially in the series between these two teams.

Unofficially sanctioned black on black crime on national TV.

    2) On the other hand, how is simply not letting them compete as “Russian”, or as representing Russia, a real punishment that’s going to change Russia’s behavior? It’s a slap on the wrist at most. How long will the ban go on?

    Your thoughts?

Russia’s Olympic team has been barred from the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The country’s government officials are forbidden to attend, its flag will not be displayed at the opening ceremony and its anthem will not sound.

Any athletes from Russia who receive special dispensation to compete will do so as individuals wearing a neutral uniform, and the official record books will forever show that Russia won zero medals.

That was the punishment issued Tuesday to the proud sports juggernaut that has long used the Olympics as a show of global force but was exposed for systematic doping in previously unfathomable ways. The International Olympic Committee, after completing its own prolonged investigations that reiterated what had been known for more than a year, handed Russia penalties for doping so severe they were without precedent in Olympics history.

The ruling was the final confirmation that the nation was guilty of executing an extensive state-backed doping program. The scheme was rivaled perhaps only by the notorious program conducted by East Germany throughout the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s.

It pretty much sounds like if you were an Olympic hopeful in Russia you were on state mandated illegal performance enhancing substances, period.

Sexists lying, claiming a woman owning the Post made a difference, when that had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

Also falsely repeating several ridiculous moonbat myths about Trump.

Let’s examine how truthful the opening line is:

“We are on the way to something better,” says Meryl Streep of the recent “earthquake” of harassment claims and female empowerment that has upended Hollywood, which many view as a direct response to the Trump administration.

Yeah, a response to Trump. That’s why nearly 99% of the PROVEN allegations of sexual harassment claims are against Moonbats and not one single credible claim has been made against Roy Moore or Donald Trump.

The one thing that is sure – reverse discrimination is a tool the radical feminists have heartily endorsed along with propaganda and outright lies.
