Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder. - Arnold J. Toynbee

What happens when moonbats run your local jail:

“I really think that this is an isolated incident,” Cleveland said. “This does not happen at our jail. We have a pretty progressive jail that meets with inmates and discusses problems and it’s easy for them to file grievances with things that are going on.”

    Oh really… doesn’t happen… BUT IT DID!

Masked Inmates Booby Trapped Entire Cell Block At Santa Cruz Jail

It was a mess inside the l-unit of the west wing at the Santa Cruz County Jail.

Deputies say it was a minefield of booby traps. Bedsheets were tied across the railing to act as tripwires, soapy water was thrown on the floor to create a slipping hazard, mattresses were used to block access to the stairs and windows were smashed.

And, of course, sooner or later at this “progressive” jail someone on staff will be seriously injured or killed and the taxpayers will foot the bill for this Social Justice experiment of theirs.

And who’s going to pay for all the damage?

  2. Bodhisattva says:

Demand: Netflix should be boycotted for Gender and Color Bias.

REAL REASON: Oscar winner Mo’Nique was low-balled on offer for comedy special and is trying to get revenge.

Mo’Nique (and to look at her, yup, there is “Mo” of “Nique”, “Mo” than enough to go around), it’s very simple.

Chris Rock is funny. Well when he’s not getting all political or being a SJW.

    Dave Chappelle is hilarious, generally.

You, well… maybe occasionally you’re slightly amusing.

    And you claim color bias.

Both Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle are black, so what’s the basis of this aspect of your claim again?

  3. Bodhisattva says:

    A sad story:

Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine were Oscar winning sisters who didn’t like each other. According to Hollywood lure, they stopped speaking to each other at least 40 years ago over who was more successful.

Yesterday, Olivia de Havilland won the feud.

    Joan died.

    Also, Peter Falk died.

You know, that guy who’s in the reruns of that show about the detective with the strange eye that you see occasionally on TVLand… because Falk had a glass eye. I think I saw him in a couple other movie reruns or something at some time… can’t remember what.

    Case in point:

Obama holdovers still running things at the Border, quietly flying illegal aliens to their destination of choice within the USA:

The Schumer Shutdown just might give Team Trump the opportunity to assess which jobs/departments in government are superfluous deadwood that can be eliminated!

“Drain the Swamp!” Thanks, Dems! 😀

    (Sniff!) That.. that was beautiful!

  8. KHarn says:

But… but Chris and Dave are not “authentic” or some such bull spit.

  9. Grumpy Cat says:

Um, you’re finding six year old stories and relaying them here as current?

Google CEO: ‘I don’t regret’ firing James Damore

Google CEO Sundar Pichai says he still believes that it was appropriate to fire James Damore. “I don’t regret it,” said Pichai, in an interview with Recode’s Kara Swisher and MSNBC’s Ari Melber.

  11. Pyrran says:

Falk was in Murder by Death, The In-Laws, Robin and the Seven Hoods, and The Sunshine Boys, among others. Falk died in 2011.

  12. Pyrran says:

We should make a government shutdown an annual two week holiday. Unfortunately, the Federal government is Frankenstein and we’re the doctor who created him. If he stays alive, our future is clear.

  13. Mr. Freemarket says:

Slow news day. Something about the government shutting down.

  14. Mr. Freemarket says:

I believe those “small tasks” are against the law in 49 states. But who am I to argue with success.

  15. Mr. Freemarket says:

“The last thing we do when we make decisions like this is look at it with a political lens,” Pichai insisted. Ultimately, the company decided it was important for Google to “create a culture that is more supportive and inclusive of” women.”

Irony is so frequently lost on the left. If the decision to create a culture that is more supportive and inclusive of women is not political, what is it????

  16. Mr. Freemarket says:

And this one: “His remarks “just seemed to set us back so far in so many ways.”

In other words, we tolerate diversity until you actually express an opinion that is too diverse. In which case, “you’re fired.”

  17. Mr. Freemarket says:

Global warming, like all other discussions, depends upon the basis that you are starting from. If you assume heat input into the earth is constant, then the blanket analogy has some merit. If the amount of heat input into the earth varies then the blanket analogy isn’t so helpful.

The bottom line in arguing with moonbats is to remember the basic facts:
    1. The world is getting worse.
    2. It is your fault.
    3. Extracting money from you will make it better.

It kind of reminds me of the sale of indulgences. You know…a guy knows that he is going to commit sin in the future. Why not pay for forgiveness now?

  18. Mr. Freemarket says:

    Mo’Nique who????

“Anyway, if she’s got the story straight, she’s right. She should be paid as much as Amy and Chris.”

That implies that people should be forced to watch the same number of hours of Mo”Nique as Chris Rock, et. al.

  19. Mr. Freemarket says:

    Irony alert:

“Comey has been hired by the College of William and Mary to teach a course on ethical leadership at the school’s Washington, D.C. center.”

  20. Mr. Freemarket says:

When does no not mean “no?”

    When it’s your cat.

  23. Mr. Freemarket says:

And now for a bit of good news:

“Two months after Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was assaulted while mowing his lawn at his home in Kentucky, the man who attacked him is facing federal charges.”

I hope he enjoys his time in a federal pen.

  24. Anonymous says:

If only Damore had talked about being a dragonkin or making his kids be transgender whether they wanted it or not…

  25. Mr. Freemarket says:

And now this bit of irony….

L’Oréal featured a woman adorned in a hijab, the veil used by many Muslim women, in its newest shampoo advertisement.

“Hair is a woman’s beauty,” the hijab-adorned Amena Khan says in the commercial, “make sure you look after it.” But the woman’s hair isn’t visible.

Khan told Vogue UK during an interview, “Whether or not your hair is on display, it doesn’t affect how much you care about it.”

That’s right… don’t want people looking at your beautiful hair….so you put a bag over your head….

  26. Mr. Freemarket says:

I have no idea how the Onion can complete!?!

Maybe it is time that a law be put in place which mandates that CEOs must be American born Citizens for companies over a certain size…

What we have here is invaders assuming Citizenship and then purging Citizens.

  28. Bodhisattva says:

Unfortunately it seems they missed a lot more than just that in school – including the difference between boys/men and girls/women.

  29. Bodhisattva says:

Good catch… don’t know how I ended up on old stories… and now that you & Pyrran mention it, yeah, I remember Falk dying some time ago.

  30. Bodhisattva says:

As I mentioned to Grumpy Cat, don’t know how I missed these two stories were 6 years old, but I did.

  31. Bodhisattva says:

I just missed how old the 2 stories were.

The similarities between religion and environmentalism are very deep. They even have prophets (Michael Mann) and saints (Al Gore).

  38. Trebuchet says:

My bad. I’ll go fund ten wind turbines and 15 acres of solar panels as an act of contrition.

Or just cut Al a check.

  39. Mr. Freemarket says:

Your repentance may also involve the sacrifice of various endangered raptors to the gods of sustainable energy, too.

  41. Mr. Freemarket says:
