There is nothing inherently fair about equalizing incomes. If the government penalizes you for working harder than somebody else, that is unfair. If you save your money but retire with the same pension as a free-spending neighbor, that is also unfair. - Arthur C. Brooks

the only thing the government should do about “equality” is to make sure the law is applied equally among all citizens, including the Clintons. the government’s main purpose is to protect the country from outside forces and to protect each individual’s rights from being violated. other than that the government should butt out. if someone can work and make a billion dollars good for them. if other people are dirt poor it is up to each individual to decide whether or not to help them. that is not the government’s job. at least not in a free and just society.

You can’t be fair and be free at the same time. You can get one or the other.

The campus pastor at North Park University in Chicago — a Christian college affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church — was suspended indefinitely by the denomination for officiating a same-sex wedding, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The Evangelical Covenant Church suspended the credentials of the Rev. Judy Peterson last month after a photo of her officiating the wedding of two men — a former student and colleague — surfaced on social media, the paper reported. North Park placed Peterson on paid sabbatical, the Tribune added.

Paid sabbatical isn’t the same as simply being fired.

Watch for the government to step in and stop the mean church from imposing its beliefs and traditions.

By the way, I wanted to thank you for a some comments I referenced a few months back here and here.

Indeed. The college is essentially saying that it backs her up, which means the denomination ought to change its name.

Does this surprise you? It didn’t surprise me:

The Guy Who Played Barney the Dinosaur Now Runs a Tantric Sex Business

He started his current practice in 2004, and finds clients any number of ways, from word of mouth to converting women he’s met on Tinder into believers.

“When the lingam [penis] and the yoni [vagina] meet, there’s a certain energy that takes place that hands on the body alone cannot create,” says Joyner, 54, whose yogi-like presence is often accompanied by a warm smile when we meet for the first of several interviews. “Even through G-spot massage, it’s still not the same energy that flows.”

And it all started with the children:

“Before I got into the [Barney] costume, I would pray and ask God to allow his loving divine spirit to flow through me through the costume and let that draw the kids. That energy would always draw them in,” Joyner says. “Children are more connected spiritually than [adults]. A lot of times when I see infants and I’m out and about at the grocery store or whatever, they start staring at me. I make the joke, ‘You know who I am.’”

Is that a confession of child molestation?

You may not believe this, little girl, but he can cure your asthma, too!

    The party of death.

The Federalist: This Is Not Hyperbole: Democrats Now Refuse To Oppose Infanticide

Democrats are not willing to protect some babies born alive. A bill put to a vote on Friday, named the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, proposes exactly what the name suggests. And nearly all Democrats in the House voted against it. To quote the bill, it requires “any health care practitioner who is present when a child is born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion to: (1) exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to any other child born alive at the same gestational age, and (2) ensure that such child is immediately admitted to a hospital.”

    This is Watergate times 10,000,000.

Obama used the FBI to attempt to throw the election – the only sad thing is it will be impossible to prove, most likely.

Evidence suggests a massive scandal is brewing at the FBI

During the financial crisis, the federal government bailed out banks it declared “too big to fail.” Fearing their bankruptcy might trigger economic Armageddon, the feds propped them up with taxpayer cash.

Something similar is happening now at the FBI, with the Washington wagons circling the agency to protect it from charges of corruption. This time, the appropriate tag line is “too big to believe.”

Yet each day brings credible reports suggesting there is a massive scandal involving the top ranks of America’s premier law enforcement agency. The reports, which feature talk among agents of a “secret society” and suddenly missing text messages, point to the existence both of a cabal dedicated to defeating Donald Trump in 2016 and of a plan to let Hillary Clinton skate free in the classified email probe.

If either one is true — and I believe both probably are — it would mean FBI leaders betrayed the nation by abusing their powers in a bid to pick the president.

So what we now know is despite a massive disinformation campaign that we know involved Clinton and Obama colluding with sources directly connected to the Russian government through Fusion GPS, despite all the dirty tricks and even wiretapping Trump’s organization, despite having illegals and dead people voting and all the other voter fraud such as voting multiple times in multiple locations, the Democrats still couldn’t win. Yes, in two main states (California and New York) where voter fraud is most rampant and hardest to prove, thanks to them, they got enough votes to win that way, but that’s not the way it works. And Trump, ironically, won because of disgruntled Democrats who switched sides in states considered “safe” for Clinton.

Feminists intent on destroying another tradition – and beseeching Mila Kunis’ help.

Fox News: Why feminists want Mila Kunis to turn down a Harvard award

A Harvard University theater group with an all-male cast is under fire from those who say it should allow women onstage — and they’re asking Mila Kunis to take up their cause. On campus and off, detractors are calling on the Hasty Pudding troupe to start casting women and to update sexist portrayals of women. Amid the debate, some are calling on Kunis to reconsider her acceptance of the group’s Woman of the Year award on Thursday to protest the exclusion. “It would be a wonderful thing for her to not accept this award, to say this is gender inequality,” said Liz Kantor, a senior studying molecular and cellular biology, who auditioned for this year’s show. “There are women on campus who are more than willing to take advantage of these opportunities, yet they’re still being excluded.”
